I came here on a saturday evening and Shanti (I apologize in advance if I butchered the spelling of her name) was so kind and helpful. she made me feel so welcome. my brows came out so clean, Ive definitely regained my confidence now that my brows be looking gooood! This has been my go-to place for a few years now for eyebrow threading. I go on the weekends and am always in and out. Umdepta and Sumetra have both done my eyebrows and have done a fantastic job. They do not take off too much and always shape them so nicely. My most recent visit Umdepta was there and she is phenomenal. She is great at what she does, and she was nice and friendly. After a 6 month hiatus, I was excited to clean up my brows and they sure did deliver! been going to this threading studio for 4 years now and they always do a great job, I leave happy and refreshed and the staff is always friendly and service is quick. COVID review: Typically there's only one staff in house who services and rings you up - this is still true. The brow tech wore a mask and gloves, they have a plexiglass at the register, and sanitize the chair after you've finished. There are pumps of hand sanitizer everywhere and even though I always have my own, used it after anyway just because it was there :) It is a small studio, so maybe would've had concern if the place was packed but never've seen more than a couple ppl waiting (pre-COVID), nevertheless, it was empty when I walked in. Another client did walk in as I was paying but wore a mask and waited in the chair, so we were able to maintain social distance. Two things worth mentioning (during COVID) are that I'm unsure whether they sanitize the hand held mirror they give you to look at your brows after they're done. I held it anyway without thinking of it til later, but don't care either way and don't consider it a big deal as long as you use sani and wash when you get home. If you play it more safe, you could bring your own mirror, look in the large mirrors in front of you or use your phone instead. Second thing was their iPad payment system is less than ideal..if you pay with card, they have a no-contact chip reader (good) but then you have to use your finger to sign/tip on iPad (no good). Next time I'll just plan to pay in cash. Overall I felt safe and will def return! LOVE Threading Studio in Magoun Square! I am extremely particular about my brows and had been really nervous leaving Heritage Threading Salon in Coolidge Corner, but it was no longer convenient to me so I needed a new threading place. This place is now my favorite threading place ever! They do a fantastic job every single time! Went here 2 days before my wedding and they absolutely nailed it, making sure my brows were cleaned up but also symmetrical and full. They made me look fantastic for my wedding. read more

I have been going to this salon over six months before COVID. After the restriciations where lifter went back. Still clean, even the bathroom. Freindly professional people . She wore a mask double mask and shield. Very impress. Asking everytime how do I want my eybrows done naturual or more thinner. They clean before and after each customer who sits in the chair. Along with wipping the partiion after you give them a credit card or cash. Very polite and tell you wehn you should come back. The hours work out for me including Sundays. So hard to find anyone on a Sunday to do my eyeborws. Price is reasonalbe and wortht it and parking there is a two hour spots outside. Sundays are free. They also do upper lip, side burns and chin hair areas. And they post prices as to how much it will cost. read more

So I have uneven eyebrows and I've never had anyone wax/thread my eyebrows and I wanted to give threading a shot. I researched local businesses and based on price and reviews I decided to check out Threading Studio. I love supporting small, local businesses. I went in on a weekday morning and the owner was there and greeted me. She was very sweet and listened to my concerns about not taking off too much of my eyebrows and just really cleaning it up. It was quick and painless. She told me that she has been doing this for some time now and recently opened up shop (about a month ago). I decided to also get my upper lip done, just for fun. She told me that it would hurt a bit more. It did, but it was not anything that was not manageable and she was done in no time. She has a discount on eyebrow threading right now because she is new, I believe it is $6 or $8 instead of $10. Honestly, based on the price and how quick and painless it was I'd recommend going here to get your threading done. There is free 2 hour parking on the street just past her studio, so that is a bonus. read more

Found this place on Yelp. & I have to say thanks to the reviews I decided to give this place a try and I have no complaints!! Went in with an appointment, thankfully there was no one waiting. Parking is pretty easy to find, street parking. I simply went to get my eyebrows threaded. The lady who did them (completely forgot to ask her name) was SUPER nice and polite. The place seemed cleaned, & she heard me out when I explained how I wanted them. She confirmed and got to it. They came out gorg! She also asked if I wanted to get them tinted and since I'm going traveling soon, I agreed and it was totally worth it. Really nice shape, and really compliment my face. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no wait. The owner greeted me and quickly escorted me to her chair. On first impression, the space seemed clean and well kept. I asked for a clean up of my current eyebrow shape and to thread my upper lip. She understand exactly what I wanted and executed it well. She was very kind and even made some small talk while I was in her chair. When she was finished, she handed me a mirror so I could check if I liked the work that she did. The checkout process was very simple - she had an iPad where she processed the transaction. The screen swivels do you have the ability to choose your gratuity amount in private. The prices here seem a little higher than I'm used to, so I might shop around before calling this my "go to threading salon." Overall, a very positive experience! read more

The technique for eyebrow threading is solid and aloe is offered afterwards for redness. Make sure you take a solid look at your eyebrows after the job is done but before you leave and ask for any changes you want or uneven brows. read more

Please do not go here unless you want your eyebrows threaded beyond oblivion. Just went here for the first time and left with my brows uneven, with my natural arches and half of my brows threaded away. I told them I wanted a "clean up". Never in my 10 years of getting my brows threaded has this happened to me and I already know it will take months to grow back. read more

Love this place! The owner is always so sweet and welcoming. Good for walk-ins, too! I used to get my brows down in the city, but this is worth the trek. I just recently went to this location to get my eyebrows threaded and to be honest it wasn't the best outcome. My eyebrows looked like they had a very light cleanup and my shape now looks boxy. The lady that did it was nice but being nice doesn't reflect her work. It was $15 before the yelp coupon which is overly priced. I usually pay $11 with tip so I was expecting much more for the price. After searching and searching for a solid Eye Brow Threading Studio, I located this one (via Yelp itself) and the reviews are beyond accurate! This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly, kind, and very skilled. You can tell they've been doing this for quite some time and don't ever have to worry about them taking off too much or too little. Pre-Covid, dropping in was always super easy and quick even without an appointment. Now during Covid they take all necessary safety precautions, and the appointment process is very smooth having you in and out safely and quickly. They now with 2 locations (the new one being in Twin City Plaza) which makes getting an appointment even easier. Couldn't ask for a better Eyebrow Threading experience. I don't live near Somerville, but I was nearby for a haircut and decided that I should get my eyebrows threaded as well. I searched for a place, and this was actually one of the first places that came up. I came on a Saturday, and there were 2-3 people ahead of me. Not a big deal, I wasn't in a rush. When it was my turn, the owner apologized for the wait, sat me in a chair and she went right to work. She was super nice; while threading, she asked if I was ok and if I needed a break. Threading doesn't hurt for me, so I didn't need one. I had some pesky ingrown hairs from plucking that she tried to get, but I understood that they were pretty much impossible to get out without hurting me/making me bleed. She was done in less than 10 minutes. The owner offers a stamp card where you get one free eyebrow threading after 10 visits. The eyebrow threading here is cheaper than the threading at the mall, there is a shorter wait, and you get good customer service! read more

I used to come to this shop for a few years and they did a good job. I went yesterday and the first thing I did not like was that she did not ask what I wanted, she just asked me to seat. I started the conversation before sitting and explained that I just wanted to clean my eyebrows a little and to please leave them thic. She took a lot of hair out and I'm not pleased with the result. First time here really great service for eyebrow threading. It has a clean studio, no long waits and friendly staff. The appointments are all time efficient but they don't compromise the quality of their work. The pricing is a little cheaper than in Boston but they do such a good job compared to the threading places I've been inside Boston I didn't mind making the trip out. There's street parking if you're driving in but you can also Uber from the orange line stop at assembly row. Definitely will be back! read more

I feel like with threading, in general, you either have a good experience or a very very bad one. Here I definitely had a good experience. The destination was easy to get to, the inside of the shop was clean and nice-looking, the lady working there was respectful and kind, etc. I got my eyebrows done and she didn't try out anything dramatic or crazy but cleaned them up nicely as I asked. I was also happy that she offered to put aloe on them afterward since I have super sensitive skin. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying out this place! read more

Amazing! This place is perfect. I have gone to threading places all over the area. Medford, Arlington, Burlington, none of them come close. I went for the first time today. I'm very picky with my eyebrows, not to thin, not to short etc. I looked in the mirror after leaving and My eye brows look PERFECT!
