She is very gentle on your natural lashes and there is never a lash out of place. I personally love a wispy light volume cat eye style lash and she nails it every time. When reopening last summer, once Covid-19 restrictions allowed so, they maintained their calm and relaxing atmosphere while ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone. Tuyen did a great job on my brows! Albeit, the service was a little rushed since another client came in. I haven't gotten my brows done since the start of COVID, and they needed some TLC pronto. I got a same-day appointment thanks to the very accommodating person managing the texts. I would say this was the least painful eyebrow wax I've ever had! The shape was good, but I do think she cut the hair a little too short on my left brow. I also got my brows tinted for the first time, which took all of 5 minutes to do. It lasted maybe a week even though she said it lasts around 2 weeks. Although it was only $15, I probably won't do tinting again because the tint didn't really change too much and faded quickly. read more

I'm a return customer to Eye Lush as Pia used to do my lashes. I decided to take a break, however, I missed them a ton so I gave Lily a shot (there was a deal going on) and it was well worth it. Lily did an amazing job. My lashes are on day 4 and still look like I just got them done - I think I've had maybe 1 lash fall out. She was super detail oriented and a perfectionist. So I've been going to Eye Lush for about 3 years now! I don't trust anyone with my lashes unless it's Thuy or one of her girls! (Katie is awesome!!) which is why I'm soooo happy to see her branch out from her original Quincy location to her new Boston Salon! I'm from Jamaica Plain, so a drive out to Quincy is about 30-35 mins... but it was always worth it!! But it's actually even better now that she's in Boston because it only takes me a 13min. Uber ride! :)) Thuy continues to show great knowledge and attention to detail whenever I go see her. She's consistent and considerate to my needs and my ideal look! She offers suggestions on how to achieve the look I want and sometimes she even goes above and beyond! Her Eyelash salon is so clean and cute and I always feel so cozy in the bed as I get my lashes done, those blankets are everything! It takes about to hours to get them done but I think of it as a 2 hour nap and waking up with flawless lashes. Thuy is so humble and charismatic. Over the past 3 years we've developed a great friendship and whenever I go in it's like a therapy session because we chat about anything from guys, career, travel. Love EYE LUSH! I got a lash perm by Twee 3 weeks ago and the curls are holding up. Having your lash perm gets rid of one steps of having to crimping my eyelash every morning. Even my mascara holds up better through out the day. I am Asian American and have super straight lashes and you could hardly notice them. AVOID THIS PLACE. I have never had the WORST lash experience in my life like I have at this place. I was on a business trip getting my lashes filled in by artist 1. First the artist put a huge blob of eye soap to clean my lashes and didn't dry it properly. I requested to get a tissue to clean it my self. I asked for a volume light, and in the middle of the service, my eye started to burn. They blamed me for not closing my eye shut. I asked for a fan, and the artist couldn't get herself together to provide it for me, and when she did it was backwards! I was in pain and asked for the fan again and held it over my eye. Mid-way they switched artist, and the next artist taped my left eye claiming I was the problem. What a crappy service! I left, and within 24 hours, the lashes fell off one by one. By 48 hours, less than 50% was full and my left was swollen. I went to the doctor, and they gave me topical cream to calm my eye. I paid 120 dollars for a painful experience and no lashes. When I contacted the business, they said they don't believe me and require a doctors note if I want a refund or I can come back to their store for new set. First off, i don't live in Boston, and second why would I come to a place that my eye gets irritated to. After providing the doctors note, they offered a refund whenever it is at the owner's convenience. I waited 4 days and went through the trouble to get my eye exam, the least you can do is provide a faster and better service. Clearly they do not care about their clients, or the possibility of higher action being taken. They say that they are not responsible for anyone's allergic reaction, but every professional lash business requires a waiver to be signed, and they did not do that, so you are responsible for any adverse reaction. I'm expecting that refund tomorrow "at your owner's convenience". Pathetic and poor business manner. read more

I've been using eyelash extensions for about 3 years now and by far, eyelush does the best job in Boston. I came in and booked an appointment with Trinity 2 weeks ago and got my retouch today. Trinity is suuuper friendly and meticulous with the eyelash application. I have sensitive eyes and they usually get irritated during the procedure, but with Trinity doing the job I can just sleep away and not worry about my eyes hurting. My lashes always come out looking great when I step out of the salon. I will DEFINITELY keep on coming back here. ++ points for venmo payments which makes it super convenient. I've tried different eyelash extensions in Boston, and none of them lasts that long until I found Eyelush! My first experience was amazing! My lash technician is Trinity, and she did such a great job. She is very knowledgeable about different types of eyes and will recommend lashes that will suit you best. It's my first time at Eye Lush. Lily was my artist. I had multiple bad eye lashes extension experiences in the past where my eyes became so irritated and red after. I was skeptical about this place but decided to give eye lash extension another try. And I am so glad I did. Lily was so amazing. She took my temperature and followed proper COVID guidelines. I wanted a wispy finish and she did a fantastic job. My eyes were not even irritated or red after. She was so meticulous and gentle. I've gotten so many compliments on my lashes. No idea why this place has such good reviews. Went in for an eyebrow wax and tint. I had never had my eyebrows tinted before, which I told her before she started, and asked for the lightest shade. She proceeded to wax and tint my eyebrows without asking what shape I wanted. She finished and handed me a mirror, and I gasped. My eyebrows are black. She took away all shape they had prior. I have blonde hair with light skin, and now black eyebrows. I am so incredibly embarrassed and upset. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

I haven't had eyelash extensions done on me for at least five years now because of a horrible experience. I understood our eyelashes shed daily but eventually I started losing too many of my actual lash because of improper application. Briefly consulting with Trinity, I felt very comfortable and became interested in giving eyelash extensions another shot. She thoroughly explain to me how delicate my actual lashes were and with the proper application and care I can enhance them with out damaging them. I was convince that she knew what she was talking about! I am so happy with the result! Considering that I wear very dramatic lash strips daily I wasn't too sure I would be able to achieve such dramatic volume. (I have very short and fine Asian lashes) I absolutely love it! I have had wonderful experiences at both Boston and Watertown. Eyelush offers many services and the results are great every time. The artists are very good at their job and great at communicating with clients. I have been getting eyelash extensions there for a while now and I am always happy with how they look and how long they last. I have also had brow lamination at Eyelush. I'm from California, where normally I go to a Benefit Brow Bar at either Ulta or Macy's but being in Boston during COVID, that hasn't happened and my eyebrows have been left to ruin. Several good reviews about Eyelush got my attention, and I believe it was Katie I saw. Unlike the Benefit Brow Bar there was no real discussion about the shape of my brows, I was just shown a picture and that was kind of it. My eyebrows were waxed, but I see stray hairs that really should have been waxed or plucked after having my brows done. Again, at the Brow Bar there's waxing followed by plucking and shaping, but it was just waxing and hoping they're in the right shape. She spent a little more time with the tinting to get the color right, but because my brows weren't shaped right I'm still having to fill in with brow pencils or pens and their color is less precise, making it so the tinting really didn't matter. I really wish more time was spent plucking individual hairs to get the shape right instead of just an all-purpose wax and tint. read more

Twee really takes the time to listen to what your looking for and gives her professional opinion on what suits your eye and face shape. So I did my research. My brows have always been terrible and I spent months growing them out. I was so excited to get them done. My person literally ruined my brows. The "lamination" didn't laminate. I was there for four hours! Then got hit with the classic "they were already like that" luckily I took a before picture before I went in. I had to wait for the owner to "fix" them. Now I have skinny brows that look terrible. My thick, luscious brows are gone. They are still curly, so the lamination apparently didn't work. She offered to refund me but I felt bad and told her to keep it as a tip. Overall bummed and now I have to draw in my brows. Stay away! Update to response: She asked me if I wanted my brows cleaned up and I said yes. She over plucked them. I know what the lamination is, and we spoke about it. She took the blame for not leaving it on long enough. It's kind of sad how the salon does not take responsibility for their terrible job done. Have some class! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I've been to every one of their locations and haven't been disappointed by any artist. I've been searching for an eyelash extension studio for a long time and I'm happy to say I've finally found one that I genuinely love! At the Quincy location, I received the extensions from Kim. The lashes looked amazing, but didn't last as long as I'd liked. I later learned from a friend that does extensions that a large determinant of how long the lashes will last also depends on your natural lashes and mine are very fine and short, so this was primarily the reason why. I would have continued to remain a loyal client of Kim's, but the drive out to Quincy became inconvenient for me. I decided to go to the Watertown location to see Katie and didn't regret it! She was so sweet and absolutely amazing.. she recommended a different lash type from what I initially wanted because they were more "suitable" for my lashes. I decided to try it out and she wasn't lying.. they lasted so much longer! I was due for a fill and Katie wasn't available at the time, so I then went to commonwealth ave for my next fill and chose Ivan. So... a post on Facebook from an Angela Tucci promoted the classic lash set service as free with a $50 deposit that you'd get back because they needed models. I love getting lash extensions so I responded to her facebook post and she said, "Hello! Let me send you a link to schedule and we do require a $50 deposit which we will return after your appointment! Please only select for the month of June. If there's no options for that time frame that means we have been fully booked. Thank you!" I booked for the month of June and as soon as I arrived told my artist about how I heard of the salon/ why I was there. She denied having any knowledge of the "free model" service and told me that not only would I not get the $50 deposit back BUT it was not included in the service so I'd have to pay $125 on top of that. Needless to say I felt very manipulated. Not to mention that the prices are extremely high for a classic set (classics are usually $100-125 not $175). The artist herself did a great job on my lashes and I'm not complaining about her skill set but the ethical practices of the salon begged for this review to be written. read more
