They don't use ice before treatment or cold air to make you more comfortable so the process is very painful and unbearable. They don't let the tat air out after and cover it with bandages causing lots of friction and irritation over the wound right after treatment. basically the way they do the treatment is as expensive and as painful as possible compared to other places that offer the same treatment. lash treatment: I also bought their lash serum. they don't tell you how to use it responsibly or that you should take long breaks from the treatment. nor does the manufacturer who I reached out to. If you do your own research, there are lots of risks and warnings. although it made my lashes extra nice, it caused discoloration of my actual eyes. I went to the eye doctor and they told me it would likely be permenant damage. they also tell you the lashes will stay that way, but they return to normal when you stop using the product and you must stop for long periods to use it safely and stop all together if it damages your eyes (which I did.) To make matters worse they called me to dispute my review. I told them I wasn't interested unless they were calling to apologize and refund me. After expressing my disinterest in further discussion and hanging up, they called and texted me asking me to remove my review because it was "misleading". As if having my experience dismissed and harassing me is going to make me take down my review...

I got a facial and massage my first time there and have been hooked ever since. I get regular hydrafacials here and started laser hair removal too. The hydrafacials have really transformed my skin. I love them and always leave there glowing. The laser treatments have been going well so far - I wouldn't call them fun or relaxing by any means but they're effective! The staff here has always been super lovely. My usually aesthetician moved this year so I started going to new people (I can't remember their names) but they're also lovely. I'll also note that spa treatments are not cheap but skin spa ALWAYS has a deal going on so you can get good discounts and once you purchase a service, it doesn't expire. I love them.

Kourtnii Koontz, the manager, assured me I would have my refund check in the mail months ago. Today she won't even answer my email and when I called the NY office I was told by the manager that she works from home. It may be time to get attorneys involved and report the company to the Better Business Bureau. Meanwhile they opened a new spa in NYC!!

I figured the pain might be worth it-- while the lady was really rough on my skin, I trusted that she knew what she was doing. After the microdermabrasion, my face was red in all different areas. I figured it would heal after some time. Days, weeks have gone by and there has been more scars on my face than prior. I'm really unhappy about the results. I was reluctant about posting photos of my face but I dont even care anymore. The following Friday I left them a voicemail, asking for some helpful advice on what I could do or a potential refund. It's been over 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back. I truly hope there is good reason behind why I was treated in such a manner. (Might be in a different order) 1st photo: Photo of my face while I sat in the waiting room. 2nd photo: Immediately after the session I went to the bathroom. My face had never felt as abused as it did that day. 3rd photo: 2-3 days later. Scars that never existed prior to the session, begin dto appear. My skin felt like it had been scraped against concrete. It no longer felt soft, it was rough and gritty. Today, it's been more than 2 weeks and these scars still remain.

What ultimately drove me to end my treatment at image care was an unfortunate situation with another esthetician while Kerrin was out of town on vacation. Admittedly, I was running about 2 minutes late to my appointment (I was walking in while a family member recovering from literal spine surgery who had called me for the first time since his procedure as I was walking in to Image Care). This was my first time running late to an appointment over my 18 months with Image Care, and ironically the first time that I didn't have to wait 5-10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. In the past, I have waited extremely politely for as much as 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. The team there is often booked back-to-back and I understand that they are often working hard to see every client for their scheduled time. As I was walking in today the previous client was just leaving the treatment room so I assumed this didn't cause any hold ups. V (Vee? Not sure on spelling) who had booked me while Kerrin was on vacation started my treatment, made very little progress during my short procedure, and stopped after 8-9 minutes when I had paid for 15 minutes that day (the appointment was cut shorter than I was late for). I politely asked her to get just one last problem hair, to which she replied, "No. No you were over five minutes late and I'm not going to be delayed for the rest of the day because of that." Funny because my last appointment with her was delayed by 20 minutes (And her claim was also totally untrue) . Thanks V! I had seen V one time prior to this appointment. While she was more friendly that time, she seemed probably new at the trade and was only able to make half the progress that I usually get with Kerrin during a 15-30 minute appointment. She literally said, "wow! How does Kerrin get so much done in 15 minutes?!" and suggested a 45 minute follow up even though I've kept this schedule for over a year now. In addition to her poor technical skill, she is apparently totally unwilling to provide the service you pay for. For a treatment that charges per minute, booking with V will be a complete waste of your time and money. Apparently you'll pay for twice the time with only half the progress! Only plan to go to image care if you're working with Kerrin. She is the business owner and has truly been great during my time there. I'm sorry to be leaving because of her ditsy, rude, and untrained staff.
