I've been going to Everbare for about three years and I recommend them very highly. Irine and Natalia are always friendly, professional and pleasant to spend time with. The rates seem reasonable to me and they take the time to do the work well, but they're also quite efficient. I've never had to wait past my appointment time and despite having a fair amount of waxing done I'm usually out of there in half an hour. They are on the sixth floor of their building and coming and going feels very anonymous. Probably not important to most people, but if you want to wax on the DL that's another reason to go, LOL. I had no idea what to expect going into it. I was very nervous about the pain I might experience. Irene was very professional. I had a phenomenal experience with Irine. We just moved back from Denver to Boston. I was looking up brazilian wax specialists in the Back Bay, and sure enough, Irine came up. The incredible thing is, she gave me my first wax back in my college days! I was pleasantly surprised to see that she has her own salon now. I love her new studio - it is so clean and bright. I was a little nervous about going back to wax strips after using hard wax for the last few years, but it was the best decision ever. The wax strips hurt a tiny bit more than the hard wax, but the pull is much cleaner (or maybe it's just the way that Irine does it). Cleanest, issue-free wax I've had in years. Irine was awesome. I stopped waxing after moving to Boston from California, so I was pretty nervous to start getting regular Brazilian waxes after a year-long hiatus (first one is always the worst!). Luckily I found Everbare and Irene. She was very pleasant and put me at ease... but perhaps more importantly she was quick and efficient, so that the pain was over in less than 20 minutes. And she doesn't double dip her wax sticks like some places. The soothing music playing in the background helped me to zone out and focus on my breathing- it was almost a meditative experience! First time getting a wax in Boston and based on reviews decided to come to Irene. Although overall content, compared to other places I have been, it was expensive, the lines weren't neat (something that isn't too important to me) and there was no aftercare provided by her. Biggest complaint was the wax left on my skin afterward, also more painful than usual, I think because she did bigger sections at a time. Newbury Street robbery for the most rushed service I have ever had. Yes, I am a guy and I'm getting my back waxed, but "Complete Back" would seem to indicate that you will be, I don't know waxing my COMPLETE back. Not half of it plus $20 extra for 30 seconds and 2 additional strips of waxing paper to include the rest of my complete back. No tweezering of remnant hair, no skin preparation before the 5 minute procedure.. I wish I made $75 for 5 minutes of work too. The wax itself was okay, nothing spectacular, and certainly no experience that in anyway superceded a much more appropriately priced wax. Rushed, no personalised attention, mislesding pricing.
