I'm a fan! Definitely recommend making an appointment because there are a lot of people that like this place. I got my eyebrows here before my bachelorette - so good! I've struggled to find someone who keeps my eyebrows thick and the woman who did my eyebrows did a great job! Definitely coming back read more

Fiancée calls me crying that her eyebrows are ruined. Requested a touch up and maintain natural arch. They took off way too much, flattening the shape of her eyebrows and made them too thin. Now she's SOL for her work trip next week and will have to make do. She's been all over north/south shore, in/out of the city for eyebrows and never had an issue until now. Always requested a touch up as she has beautiful thick eyebrows and likes the natural shape of them. Clearly they were too rough and didn't listen to anything she asked for. Disappointing is an understatement. Learn to listen to your customers - I'm not the only one complaining about this (look at other negative reviews) 0/10 do not recommend read more

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon for two eyebrow threading appointments and were seen immediately. Theyre super kind and did a great job for both mens and women's threading--would definitely recommend! read more

had Boston Threading recommended to me by two friends and i thought they were great! it was my first time getting threading done and it was quick and felt similarly to waxing. way less irritation and no greasy post-wax feeling. Asia was great. read more

I've been to Boston Threading several times before and Shanti took care of me today. This was my best experience so far, she was so sweet and I'm normally fairly sensitive around my eyes but had no pain with her. I'll definitely be coming back to see her soon! read more

Shanti was amazinggggg. Literally the best brow thread I have ever had. Will come back every time I'm in Boston.

I came at a pretty good time -- close to 5 pm on a weekday and had no wait time. My sister had told me that my brows looked like caterpillars and I needed to get my brows did. So, naturally, I yelped for the closest and best-rated threader near me. Price was also a factor. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my threading as it is not grossly thin, took maybe ten minutes of my day, was cheap (and convenient, they take card!), and now my brows be fire. Would come again. read more

Went in today and Asia did a great job! Thoughtful, personable, and skilled. I will be returning to this location and had a much better experience than the first time I was here. Asia was a big part of this and I appreciate it! read more

I was in the area, saw it was open and walked in after I saw that Yelp reviews were pretty good. There was a modest wait with 2 women in front of me, and it is a small sitting area with a small 3 seater couch and some chairs (It would be uncomfortable to wait if there are a lot of people there) . There was only 1 artist working on a weekend evening with an observer in training of some sort. 2 treatment chairs were there so assuming some days there could be 2 clients at the same time. The service was very friendly and the results were great for eyebrows! $15 was reasonable and I used a Yelp check in offer $2 off. I was offered aloe but pleased that there was no redness afterwards. They ask customers to use a digital console to check in and also pay - easy to do everything on credit card including tip. Recommend! read more

I love getting my brows done by Shanti. She is quick but takes her time, listens to how I want them done, and has excellent customer service. I'm never disappointed with how she threads my brows. read more

This was my first time threading. I've always done waxing or plucking previously. However, waxing in the area can be $25-$40 and gets expensive fast! So I was willing to try threading at half the cost. I was nervous trusting someone new with my brows. Also I heard it was much more painful than waxing. I would disagree it wasn't anymore painful. I went in at 11am in a Friday and there was no line. The girl who did my brows was very nice. I asked to get my eyebrows cleaned up and overall I'd say she did a good job. Now that I'm looking in the mirror there's a few spots she missed but easy to get with a tweezer. Next time I'd probably look a little closer at my brows after and make sure they leave no strays behind read more

I always go either here or their Downtown location to get my brows done. Honestly, it's the only place I trust. I always walk in and never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes and their locations are super convenient for me. The main reason I get my brows threaded is because they are a little hard for me to manage on my own at home by just simply plucking. It doesn't get the job done for me. However the friendly ladies at Boston Threading get it done, no hassle whatsoever, and I am always happy with the result. They've never arched my brows too high or taken off too much hair for my liking. They just follow the natural shape of my brow, only cleaning up the stray hairs. And that's what I need! I've recommended this place to friends who also love it. Only thing to keep in mind is that the process of threading in itself can get pretty uncomfortable, but their cleanliness and friendly services helps put me at ease! I know that my brows and I are in good hands here! read more

I got my eyebrows threaded here and I love them! The lady who serviced me left them thick and gave me a nice arch under my eyebrows just like I asked. If you're on Newbury St. and want a quick, walk-in service, I recommend checking them out! read more

Made an appointment online the night before and the business was very responsive to my questions despite sending them messages late at night. Next day, the appointment went smoothly and I was very happy with the results. I believe I got it done by a staff named Pam. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family! read more

Generally threading shouldn't be painless but shouldn't leave bumps and ripped skin areas (like waxing often does). To get your eyebrows done but be left with tiny little cuts all along the area leaves a very painful and tender area. Putting makeup on and off it generally becomes a painful experience as well as cleaning your face or using any kinds of toner. My picture doesn't quite do it justice but it truly is almost entirely red underneath and raised with speckled cuts all along my brow. My eyebrow itself looks fine as far as shape goes, I just feel like the same amount of cuts and pain could have come from myself with tweezers. read more

I've become a regular here since it's near my work. It's a clean, nice space and they do a good job. I've had the same woman on several visits and she's always friendly and professional. I get eyebrow and lip done and I'm usually in and out within 10 minutes. I recommend going during the day if you can, there's often a bit of a line if you go after 5. The one downside is that they're a bit pricey compared to other threading salons. We're definitely paying for the convenience of Newbury Street. They do offer $2 off if you check in on Yelp though so that's great. read more

I setup an appointment online for Sunday 10 am and one for my partner for 10:10. We got there and it was closed. Several people also had appointments scheduled and stayed and then left because there was nobody. We came back and were seen at 11 am. We told the person that we had been waiting for almost an hour and she seemed unphased by everything. Definitely won't be going again. read more

I was able to get my eyebrows threaded as a walk in. Atiza (spelling?) was really nice and did such a thorough job. I was nervous because I've been going to the same place for 7 years in Chicago but I just moved here and it was time. She made sure that she didn't remove too much or too little as she gave me a mirror and asked what I thought along the way (about three or four times, which I really appreciate). read more

Awesome experience! Will be coming here from now on for threading. Put out a request for an appointment using Yelp and the owner reached out within 10 minutes to help me schedule my appointment! Went in yesterday and every thing was wonderful. Extremely clean salon and service was fabulous. Ask for Anjali! She did a fantastic job and was so sweet. The cost was $15 and I think that's beyond reasonable. I've received many compliments throughout the day on how clean my brows look! 10's all across the board for this spot. read more

What a horrible service! I called and asked if I can walk in in about 10 mins and what the wait will be. They said to come and that there's only one person waiting. I walk in about 8mins later and they said they're on lunch. I explained tht I drive from Cambridge and that it was going to be my first time and she said come back later and closed the door. Too bad that this place looked good but I'd rather take my business where they are not rude (totally get lunch break big she could have shared that on the phone so I didn't have to pay for parking) read more

I've been coming to Boston Threading every 2-3 months or so for the past few years, and I've been pretty consistently satisfied with how my eyebrows turn out each time. The women who work in the salon are all very attentive, professional, and friendly, and they're very efficient (if you're going in for eyebrow threading only, you can typically be in and out within 10 minutes). Their eyebrow threading service is more expensive than I'm used to, but there's a Yelp coupon you can redeem which helps a bit with the cost. Also, no better feeling than walking out with clean brows, so I'd say it's well worth it! read more

I tried to call to make an appointment with the previous person i got my eyebrows done with. Santhi i believe was her name and she refused to answer my question! And kept trying to hang up! I am definitely not coming back here again! Poor customer service!!! read more

I've been coming to this place for 3 years now & I originally found them on newbury street while shopping and thought I stopped in because my eyebrows were in need for some cleaning. Ever since then I don't regret going. They are the only place in Boston I trust when it comes to doing my eyebrows. They always go the extra mile when it comes to cleaning up my brows and take their time. I would definitely recommend if your new to threading and want to go get them done for the first time. They are very helpful and understanding when it comes to meeting your needs & wants. I can honestly say that my eyebrows are much thicker and fuller now since making this my go-to place. read more

I started out by clearly explaining my asks in terms of shape. I only wanted it cleaned up slightly, and to continue to grow certain areas out. She completely ignored my requests and just went at my eyebrows--completely changing the shape and making them lopsided and thin. Just don't go here! read more

I used to come here every other Monday to get my eyebrows threaded, and Ischia (not sure of the spelling) was great. She was quick, painless and very friendly. I looked forward to seeing her. A new woman is there on Mondays now, and she is slow, threading hurts, and the last time I saw her she snapped the thread on my nose and did not even apologize. She did not offer me a new stamp card, either. It may not seem like a big deal, but if a customer feels comfortable, satisfaction will be higher. read more

This is my go-to place for eyebrow threading. I heard about Boston Threading through a friend, and have never been disappointed. It's a short walk from the Hynes Convention Center stop, which is super convenient. Every person I've met who works there has provided wonderful, polite, and efficient service. There are also a bunch of places around to shop and eat at, which makes for a nice little trip if you want to walk around the area post-threading. read more

My friend and I went to Boston Threading for the first time tonight. We arrived at the same time as a man and woman, and the woman was getting her eyebrows and upper lip done at the same time as my friend while the man waited. I did not have an appointment, so I was waiting as well. These two customers proceeded to yell at both employees and caused a scene telling the employees they had messed up her eyebrows and ruined her skin while claiming to be a doctor and trying to assert leverage, making both the employees and my friend and I extremely uncomfortable. The employees working were Binita and Surja, and they handled the situation phenomenally well, even as the two customers continued to yell at them and insult them. They apologized profusely to my friend and I even though we assured them they did nothing wrong, and they did an amazing job on both our eyebrows. We will definitely return here! read more

I came in with uneven brows that have not been touched since quarantine. Laxmi tried her best to fix them; she even gave me tips/product recommendation on how to grow out sparse brows. My brows look so much better! P.S. for those who are wary of coming in due to covid: The chair was wiped down after each customer and appointments are required to minimize the number of people in the space at one time. I am glad they are taking precaution! read more

Yes! I'm so thrilled Boston Threading opened this location. The Downtown Crossing location was my go-to place for my brows. Yesterday, I actually planned to trek to the Downtown location (a whole three train stops away, ugh! #bostoncommuterproblems) when I noticed this location on Yelp. Score! I went right after work (around 5 pm) and the Newbury St. location wasn't busy at all. I was able to walk in, get my brows done, and walk out in about 15 minutes. That's insane! The process was painless and the woman who took care of my brows was really nice and most importantly, she did a great job. I've had instances where I've walked out of a place with my brows destroyed (you bet there's a picture floating around on Yelp for that establishment with my brows looking really uneven #embarrassing). Luckily, I've never had a problem with Boston Threading. I really recommend this place (and their DTX location) for your brow needs! Also, they have a Yelp deal for checking in. I believe it ends up being $12 for brow threading -- what a steal! read more

I was so scared to get my eyebrows threaded since my eyebrows are relatively sparse anyways; however, Boston Threading made me feel so welcome and relaxed about the entire process. Afterwards, my eyebrows looked SO clean (I didn't know if threading would be very effective on me). The technician is clearly very experienced and knows how to follow the natural eyebrow shape to flatter someone's face (I didn't even have to say anything). If you have any comments at the end (a random stray hair or something), she is happy to correct. I didn't know if threading was for me, but I didn't have to pay very much to find out (cost is $15 for eyebrow threading). Definitely my go to from now on! read more

I was FINALLY able to get my brows done today after 3.5 months of quarantine. I was ecstatic to see my girl Mana. She is so professional, personable and has such a sweet demeanor. She takes her time, is very precise and does a fantastic job. I can confidently sit in her chair and not have to worry about the outcome. I am so happy you are back. I missed you terribly. Go see the ladies at The Boston Threading. You won't be disappointed. read more

Excellent service and amazing job with eyebrow threading - my go to place in Boston! Highly recommend this spot

Large, clean, convenient, affordable, and she did a great job listening to what I wanted for my eyebrows and I am very happy with the clean up. I will be back. read more

I'm still not sure how they turn a profit with such a huge space on Newbury street - I feel that the business can offer other services rather than just eyebrow threading to garner more cash flow and utilize their space more...but for the threading itself, the job is always great, quick, and painless. It's slightly more expensive than a normal threading job, which I will account to the overly large space, although I do appreciate that it's extremely clean. read more

Service was fast and attentive. No attitude when I asked the worker to take some extra hairs out I though she missed. I was the only one there so I guess I got extra attentive service. At $12 for threading, it's slightly more expensive than what I am used to at home, but not too bad. read more

Anjali did a touch-up on my brows, which I hadn't let anybody other than my normal gal in San Francisco for 10 years. I was nervous that she would do more than just "clean them up," as I'd requested. She was kind and assured me that she would be careful. And indeed she was. She followed the line that my brow stylist had created. Plus, she was very very gentle with the thread, so there was little to no pain. Should I find myself in Boston and in need of some brow clean-up, I'd definitely see Anjali again. It's the same price as what I pay in SF ($15 for brows, $10 for lip), and I know that there are far more (and cheaper) threading options in the Boston area for threading than in SF, but it was worth it for me to go to a conveniently located studio that doesn't have a disturbing number of really bad reviews! :) read more

I arrived to the shop before it opened, but Ranju invited me in anyways. She was very friendly and made my eyebrows look great! I'd never gotten my eyebrows threaded before and this was a very positive first experience. She was very sensitive to me needs and told me that we could take a break at any time. I did not end up needing one, but it was nice to have the option. Very happy that Groupon brought me here! read more

I come here regularly, the service is always good but the threading quality varies each time. Most trips have been good. I have thin eyebrows that don't grow back quickly, so I always tell them "not too thin, not too arched". This generally produces satisfying results, but sometimes it's still too thin. Once the lady filled in my eyebrows for me afterwards, and they looked SO GOOD, but this hasn't happened any other time. Overall it's a solid place that has become my designated threading place in Boston. read more

I was in Boston for work for a few days last week and had to get my eyebrows threaded before my wedding, which was less than a week away.
