I recently went to posh and one of the lash artists broke HIPPA laws and privacy act. They contacted a former lash artist who used to work there and complained about me. It's not the first time this has happened. They talk about everyone while your eyes are shut. Also, because I cancelled/rescheduled so many times in the past they made me give a whole deposit to make an appointment and it could never be reimbursed. They should be shut down for violating my privacy. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for some time now; my apologies! I had contemplated on eyelash extensions for a while, but when my friend got them, I decided it was definitely something I wanted to do. I love to do elaborate makeup for nighttime events, weekends, and parties and if I feel it's appropriate to wear big, beautiful false lashes... EVEN BETTER! But, when I go to work, I generally do a quick 5-10 minute face. I like the length of my natural lashes, especially when they're enhanced with a volumizing mascara, but if I feel like wearing a bare face, you cannot see my eyelashes because the tips are so light. With the eyelash extensions, I feel so glam all the time - even when I'm a hot, sweaty mess at the gym! They're extremely light and feel very natural. The process is painless and relaxing. The staff is clear on the care and maintenance of the lashes and are able to answer any questions you may have. Deb applied my lashes; she is SO sweet and easy to get along with. She made the time fly. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Tracy, but I know she is informative and is customer oriented. I have since moved to GA, but will be visiting during Christmas and plan to get my lashes filled while I'm home! :) DO NOT hesitate getting your lashes done here. I have been going to Posh Lash for the past 6 years. I started with a classic set and have gradually increased to a more dramatic, full look as I got more comfortable with my lashes. Posh Lash creates a welcoming, friendly and relaxing environment upon walking in the door. The beds are comfy and make it easy to fall asleep in during the appointment. The lash artists are extremely talented, having been trained by the owner Tracy. Tracy, is an unbelievably talented lash artist, I began seeing her 6 years ago after I had my lashes done at a nail salon and had to see her for a correction appointment. She was knowledgeable and explained to me how the extensions worked - for anyone getting their lashes done for the first time, I think it's important to educate yourself on how lashes work, and be comfortable knowing that it may take some time before you are comfortable with the style, weight and even the glue. I will say the artists are willing to work with you, have you come back for touch ups, removals, adjust their glue, adjust the lashes the use but in order for them to do that you need to be honest and proactive. Posh Lash is a modern business, their communication style is to text with clients, scheduling/rescheduling and confirming appointments. I appreciate this because it's easy to communicate and quicker then having a phone call. I have recommended Posh Lash to family and friends over the years, and stand by my recommendation and completely trust in Tracy and the other talented artists. read more

Posh Lash and the owner, Tracy, are incredible. Not only is Tracy talented, but it is obvious that she is knowledgeable about her craft. I have been getting eyelash extensions for three years, and have been seeing Tracy for the last year. I typically see Tracy every three to four weeks, and my lashes always look full in-between visits. I think that part of Tracy's talent comes from her understanding of how lashes can compliment the look of the eye. My eyelashes look full and natural, and never have I been asked if my lashes are fake, instead, I get complimented on how lucky I am to have such beautiful lashes! My appointment was with Maria for a lift and tint. I had been going to a salon in Framingham but the lash technician left. All I can say is WOW! This is a service I had had in the past, but the result at Posh was so, so much better. My lashes grow straight down and on the outer corners every direction. It pains me to write this. If you check out my my reviews, I don't come on Yelp to rant and complain. Rather, I use Yelp as a tool to express my sincere gratitude and enjoyment of the services or meals I've received. I found Posh Lash from browsing LivingSocial a month before I was taking off for my honeymoon in April. I was super excited because Posh Lash is both near my work and my home, so convenient for me to get refills after my honeymoon into Wedding season. The LivingSocial deal was $89 for 2D eyelash extensions (a $175 value). If you google 2D eyelashes, they aren't FULL VOLUME but in-between natural and volume look. I was very excited, because I've gotten natural looking eyelash extensions before and I wanted to go a step up. Unfortunately, I didn't get that. I'm actually sitting here on my honeymoon writing this review because I'm a little upset with how the lashes came out. I had a bad feeling from the beginning. While booking was fairly easy (I called but no one picked up, I did get a text back and that's how I booked/confirmed my appointment). The person who booked me was very nice via text but when I got a confirmation, it said "Living Social Deal 2D lashes." It gave me a gut feeling that it would be a different service that what a "normal" booking would look like, but at the time, I just ignored it. When the date got closer, I had a commitment during the time I confirmed and asked to reschedule. Rescheduling was easy, however I noticed I couldn't reschedule via Vagaro/the website because "Living Social 2D" didn't exist. I called and got a text back and they were again very nice in rescheduling to a time that work for me. When I arrived, I was happily greeted by my lash technician. But she didn't ask me the length I wanted, only how much volume. Having lashes before, I know the length I want but instead of being controlling my 1st time, I decided to let my lash tech decide what looked best for my eyes. I laid there for 3 hours, and opened my eyes to a very natural looking set. At other places, this would be $60-$100, but definitely not worth the $175 that was quoted on their website. How is this 2D? I've gotten a natural look before this experience that had more lashes than what I received at Posh and not every lash was "lashed". The lashes were extremely delicate. And, here I am on my honeymoon watching these lashes fall to the ground (mind you, they started falling out within one week). I felt getting eyelash extensions for my honeymoon would help alleviate my worries about looking great from the minute I woke but that is not the case. My last thought on this is that Posh Lash has great reviews. They must be doing something right because they have a loyal customer base (and they do have great customer service). But if you're going to offer a Groupon or LivingSocial deal it should be the same service as a person booking on the website and paying full price. This definitely has made me think twice about using a bargain service. read more

If I could give Tracy 6 stars...I would! She is THAT incredible. I saw her work on a friend of mine whos lashes looked stunning- so long and full, but DID NOT look fake or glued. Getting lash extensions was the best thing Ive ever done, beauty wise. she takes the time to properly glue each one on individually and mixes up the lengths so your lashes look REAL and GORGEOUS! On top of how amazing her work is- Tracy is hilarious, fun, & I get excited to "hang out" with her for an hour while she does my fills. I found out about this place through a friend and decided to give it a try. I was with many artists there in the beginning but now I make my regular touch ups with Alyssa. Although all the girls are AMAZING there, I find my personality meshes the most with Alyssa. Not only do I look forward to my appointments because I love how it makes me feel after, but I also look forward to seeing the girls there. When you go you feel like you are visiting with friends or family. The waiting area and is cozy and they make sure you're comfortable from the moment you step in, to the moment you leave. I have never, and would never go any where else. You HAVE to go to Posh Lash. And there are three reasons why: Shannon, Adriana and the product itself. I started going to Posh after two years of getting extensions elsewhere. I knew my extensions were no good but they were affordable so I stuck it out-until I couldn't anymore! They twisted, poked me and my natural lashes were ruined. Then I found Posh lash. Their lashes are soft, last me 3-4 weeks on average (versus barely 2 before!), and don't budge. I can wash them and they remain beautiful too. And they are not much more than what I paid before and last so much longer. I get volume lashes from Shannon and she does AMAZING work!! And the bonus is she is great to chat with too! The whole vibe at Posh is great including Adriana who works the desk. She is extremely accommodating and remembers clients from week to week. I love the look of long eyelashes and when I heard about eyelash extensions I was excited to try them. I first tried a solo technician in Lexington and not knowing much about the product I thought that I hit a home run. They lasted about two weeks between fills and were a bit spidery and long. She initially asked me questions to understand my work environment (conservative), how I see myself (active, smart, business woman, mom), and the image I want to project (put together). I remember looking into the mirror after my first visit with a bit of disbelief. My lashes were lush, fluffy, and dark...but not too long as I wanted a natural look. I have not had to change the way I cleanse my face nor do I worry about water, makeup, the blowdryer, or even the how my sadistic optometrist treats my lashes. They have been very durable. I have been a client of Posh Lash for over a year now and have to admit that I wanted to keep this beauty secret all to myself, but Tracy and her team provide an outstanding product and deserve my praise and a public recommendation which is long overdue on my part. I have never been fully satisfied with the lashes/service I received at over the 8 places I tried. I fell in love with my lashes from Posh Lash the very first time! I hadn't requested anyone when booking, but Rachel did such an amazing job I knew I wanted to keep my appointments with her. She gives the exact amount of volume/length that I ask for, and I don't have any irritation during the appointment or after like at other places in the past. Very expensive, $85 for a touch-up. I have been getting my lashes done for over five years in another state and never had a problem. The lashes I rec'd at Posh were skimpy and fell off quickly (twice). The owner and Shannon are very nice, but the girls at the Front Desk are terrible. They are more interested in talking on their phone than helping you. I was interested in some products and the girl at the desk didn't even look up from her phone to answer me. The automatic text system is confusing because sometimes you receive notifications from them and sometimes from an employee and they don't always match. I'm not one to write bad reviews but I thought I should share my experience here. I had been getting eyelash extensions at Posh for 10 months when one day, leaving the salon, my eyes felt very irritated. For the next two weeks, my eyelashes were crusty and my eyes were bloodshot. I kept good care of my lashes- brushing and washing them with the correct cleaner as often as they should be. I let the technicians know about the infection that was forming and they insisted that it was NOT an infection. They used different application techniques and tried different adhesives that they said would fix the problem. However, one morning I woke up and one of my eyes had a nasty stye. My whole lid started to puff up so I went to the clinic and they said it was a bacterial infection and gave me antibiotics. I figured I'd let the lashes fall out naturally and the medication would fix the problem but I was wrong. My eye was swollen shut, filled with puss, bleeding at the root of the lashes and I was in a lot of pain. After numerous antibiotics and visits to the eye doctor, nothing was working. They said the bacterial infection was not going to go away unless I got surgery. So I had to go to a plastic surgeon, where they lifted the eyelid, cut an incision into the inside of my lid and removed the bacteria buildup. It was horrible and painful and I had a black eye for a week following the procedure. The lash technicians were always very kind and when my lashes were okay, they looked absolutely fantastic. However, they should not have continued to apply the extensions after the initial sign of infection and should not have insisted that it was just a "reaction"! read more

Best eyelash extensions I have ever gotten. The staff is meticulous about applying an extension to each lash and not the lashline or your eyelid.
