It's been several months since I've had any TLC on my eyebrows. My previous person disappeared in life and it's taken me a while to find someone who seems trustworthy. Based on everyone's review on Yelp, The Wax Room looked to be the place where to go. Fortunately, it's located 30 seconds away from my dentist office (find my review on Radiance Dental in Reading). I was a little confused on where exactly to go when you reach the Market Basket parking lot. There is a plaza with a Salon. This made me believe that it was a typical hair salon that had a few services. When you walk in through the doors, it's like a row of 50 storage units (for a lack of a better word, suite) but cuter and smells of intoxicatingly beautiful smells and the sound of 50 hairdryers WRRRRRRRRRR'ing all at once. I was a bit overwhelmed walking into the suites. The Wax Room was very easy to find. But, I didn't realize that The Wax Room was exactly that. -Just one room, as are the rest of the many other tiny boutique services. One of the many thoughts that was running through my head is how everyone can compete against each other. But, it all seems to work out well. Another thought was, "Do I knock? Do I just go in?". Eventually figured it out. Bryanna was who had waxed my eyebrows and had done a tremendous job. I almost couldn't recognize myself. Think of Mia Thermopolis from the Princess Diaries and the makeover, except a lot less royal. However, it was great to finally have two eyebrows again. Bryanna had taken her time to perfect her craft. I can't get over how wonderful it feels. She was gentle and thorough. I nearly had fallen asleep as it was just soothing to get pampered. The only teensie weensie part that wasn't so comforting are the ceiling lights that beam down on you. They're a bit bright, but I can surely understand that there needs to be light to perform the job. I'm not too upset about that. I wish there could be one of those micro cosmetic lights. But then again. It's a tiny room, where limited equipment could be only be stored. Nonetheless, I'm still giving the adorable Wax Room and service 5 stars. I also love the fact that they accept credit cards; tip on card, as well! So, no need to run to the bank. A definite return in future! read more

Bryanna is a pro! Professional and her work reflects this. Got a lash lift and tint as well as my brows done (waxed). What a difference! I haven't even needed make up!!!! Apparently I didn't have a lot of lashes to work with to begin with, but she sure made them pop! Will be back most certainly! Will attach before and after read more

I had a little trouble finding the Wax Room as I was expecting to find a storefront with the same name. Thankfully Bryanna picked up the phone and let me know that it was actually located within the Sola Salon. It's actually really cool that there are so many beauty/hair related stores within the Sola salon that are independently owned. Bryanna was very friendly and patient towards me, and she answered all my concerns/questions. I have been on the search for a place to get a brow wax as my regular place is a little too far away now. I am glad to have found the wax room! I got a brow wax and brow tint done when I visited. The shape of my brows was done really well, it could have been a tad thinner, but I definitely would rather it be too thick than too thin. I don't think I will do the brow tint again as I have naturally dark color hairs, but I can totally see the impact it could have on someone with light colored hair. read more

Absolutely love the wax room! I have had a full array of services and they never fail to impress me! I recently moved away but always find time to visit the wax room when I am back home! Would highly recommend the lash lift, eyebrow waxing, and Brazilian! read more

I am a client at the shop in Reading but I can tell you that this is the best wax services I have received! No only do they use far better technique (and less painless) than going to EWC, but even during this really tough time the owner is doing everything she can to make sure we all still can get what we need. She actually put together little kits that she would drop off at your address to help you stay groomed during quarantine! Definitely a great business to support with super friendly staff! read more

The Wax Room - This is after the lash tint and lift. - Waxing Near Me - Reading, Massachusetts

Gina is AMAZING!! I've been growing my eyebrows out for about 3 years now from getting them terribly threaded somewhere else - which has also left small patches in my brows. It's been so hard for me to trust someone with my brows, until I met Gina! After my first service with her, she recommended I try a brow tint to help them look even fuller. I never thought I would trust anyone doing my brows again, but they're literally perfect!!! I've gone back to Gina now multiple times for different services, and I'm never disappointed when I leave! read more

Wow! I contacted The Wax Room on Yelp, received a message back within the hour. Bryanna hooked me up with an appointment THAT DAY (soon after our talk)! I believe I met with Lisa, who was conversational and happy to have a client. This is important! More important, most definitely, is her work. She shaped my unruly brows to perfection. It was such a relief in contrast to some other, way too expensive services I have had before. My bangs cover my brows for the most part, but I feel as though I can confidently wear them thinner or more swept. Also great is the wax itself. My skin is rather sensitive. I typically leave the salons/spas with bumps all over my forehead. I left Lisa with minimal redness. Thank you both! read more

Bryanna has the best eye when it comes to shaping your brows! I'm extremely picky and she nailed it! She is a sweet and professional girl. Her space is very clean and well decorated. I would highly recommend Bryanna for all your waxing or brow shaking needs! read more

Yesterday was my first time here for a Brazilian wax. Bryanna is very friendly and did a great job! Her place is adorable. I have been getting Brazilian waxes for almost 2 years and she made it almost painless (it's still a sensitive area lol) She uses a hard wax which is perfect for that type of service, also the wax was the perfect temperature. I already rebooked! Definitely one of the most pleasant Brazilian experiences. I highly recommend her! read more

I had the ultimate treatment with Gina which includes a brow wax, brow tint, lash tint and lash lift. The results were amazing, no eyelash curler needed for a full 6 weeks, and I probably could have gone longer. Gina was very friendly and the place was very clean. The facility was clean and my wax with Gina was very good. She was thorough and extremely nice and polite. Will definitely be going back again! read more

Absolute terrible service. Got a Brazilian done there and the girl left a ton of strips of hair. Never tweezed any either. Felt very rushed to get me out. When I told the owner that I wasn't very happy, she offered a complimentary Brazilian with another master waxer. So I said I would give it another shot. I was communicating with bryanna back and forth through email, she totally ignored me and then said I should of reminded her!! Umm isn't that what I was doing through the emails? Terrible customer service. read more

The Wax Bar is a great place. Brianna is very professional and her establishment is warm and clean. Brianna did an awesome job on my eyebrows. She even took time to show me how to use brow powder. Loved this place!! I've been to both locations, very clean and nice set-ups. Love that my waxing done came out perfectly by both Bryanna & Gina. I am a Southern CA transplant, and have been in the Boston area almost two years. About a year ago, I moved to Middleton, and had been looking for a place to have my brows waxed. I tried numerous places, a little closer to home, but I was unhappy with all of them. Obviously, I was looking in the wrong direction. Then I found The Wax Room! I read the rave reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. All of the reviews are spot on. It starts with the professional layout and information presented on Bryanna's website, and follows through with the prompt on-line way she interacts with her new clients. I was pleased and very impressed when I met Bryanna during my first visit to The Wax Room. Bryanna is a professional and very knowledgeable. She is very gentle and her studio, in the Sola Salon, is immaculate. And best of all, after two sessions with Bryanna my brows, which were previously a mess, look great. Thank you, Bryanna. read more
