One star can't even depict how horrible this place is! If there was a negative 10 i would choose it! Took my phone here for repair and it was fully working with the exception of a cracked front screen. Hours and hours later i came back to a phone that was completely useless! the screen wont display anything anymore and they pretty much just told me to scoot and be on my way and they can't do anything about it. They know that their technician did something bad and broke it in the process of replacing the screen. To be sure i took it to another place that does micro component repairs and sure enough i have a result in less than an hour. 3 of the components that make the display work was completely torn off the board. Were they using jungle knives to open these things up? Bunch of cavemen! Oh and do not sign anything they give to you! It basically says you are agreeing to their policy that says if they break something on your device, you cant do anything about it. This is the most unprofessional business ever to have been established in this planet! Take your broken stuff elsewhere. Read reviews and ratings. It will be worth your money!

In a time when all of our stuff is made cheaply and expected to break, shops like this are a beacon of critical thinking and taking care of business. San Bernardino is like LA, you can find anything if you look hard enough. This part of town is rough - but preserve through if you are the kind of person who hates the throwaway culture that has been thrust upon us. My tv had a problem where is suddenly had no picture, but the sound worked. Googling around, I found some repair flow charts and determined the issue to be either the power board or LEDs. Since power boards are so cheap online, I tried that first. That wasn't the issue so I knew part of the LED backlight was bad and I was not interested in the careful/gentle nature of that type of repair. I found this shop and they were very friendly and straight forward. It cost $25 for diagnostic, which of course goes towards repair if you choose to do it (just like a mechanic). They were able to fix my issue same day (probably because these tvs are crap and they keep common fix components in stock). It ended up being ~$150 total and it is better than new because they put longer lasting LEDs in there than it started with. Yay! The repair tech recommended I get a good power strip to plug into to protect the LEDs for fluctuations in power that could make them go bad in the future. Note, he didn't sell it to me, he recommended it as a best practice. Good dude.

I had them refoamed a few years back by a "reputable" speaker repair place in Orange County. I searched for a place local to have them repaired this time and found Ron in San Bernardino. Took my Woofers in and talked to him and he knows his business about speakers saying he worked with all the bars and night clubs locally fixing their stuff back in the day. Got my Cerwin Vega's back like brand new. Stated the previous place didn't use factory parts. They sound like new! Fast forward a few years and my subwoofer and front door woofers in my 2008 Toyota Tundra with JBL deteriorated and needed to be refoamed. I took them to Ron and he repaired them for a VERY reasonable price considering I could have purchased kits online and did it myself or replaced them with new ones from Toyota which are pricey. Can't just replace them with aftermarket as the JBL system is 2ohm. Ron and his wife even delivered them to my house on New Years Eve because he felt bad for how long it took. I installed them and again sounds like new. If you have home or stock car speakers that need repairing see Ron. Very nice guy, very knowledgeable and if he charged double it would still be a bargain. Thanks Ron!

The tech also lost our power cable to our tv and gave us some generic one after scrambling around. They charge a Dx charge to be applied to the repairs, however we still had charges added on after the Dx was given and repairs done. they refused to give my husband the price he was quoted, even after he spoke with them over the phone and confirmed the charges before pick up multiple times. My husband is beyond upset. As it was the end of the day, he said he'd look at it and call me Monday. Monday afternoon rolled around and I got impatient and called him. He told me he had checked it out and it was the transformer, and that he'd call me on Tuesday with the estimate for a new transformer. Around noon on Tuesday, he called me back with his quote. While the cost was within reason, I opted not to have it repaired due to the receiver's age and the price I paid for it refurbished on a discount site years ago. Even with the diagnostic fee counting towards the total cost, I explained that I'd probably be better off putting the cost of the repair towards a newer receiver with modern features, and he seemed to understand. Had the receiver been worth more to me, I would have had no problem giving Andrew my business. The service was good (not kiss-your-ass-good like some entitled Yelpers seem to demand, but more honest and professional, which I appreciate), and he seems to have a lot of experience. His shop is a small storefront with bins of components and all the stuff you'd want to see in a repair shop. While my particular repair didn't make good financial sense, had I had a higher-end unit or a TV that was out of warranty, it would have definitely been better to fix it than to recycle it. In a world where electronics repair people are becoming scarcer, it's good to know that shops like this still exist.

I don't usually write reviews, but QCQ Repair absolutely earned one…read more When I first started looking for someone to repair my Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 controller, I came across QCQ Repair. The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. What really sets QCQ Repair apart is that Jose genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. His business isn't about getting people in and out as quickly as possible--it's about doing the job right. That's exactly why his reviews are so outstanding, and now I completely understand why so many people recommend him. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, experienced, and takes pride in their work, I couldn't recommend QCQ Repair enough. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need another repair. Thank you again, Jose. I truly appreciate bringing one of my favorite controllers back to life.

Called Samsung to see if they would warranty my Samsung galaxy ring which has a battery issue…read more Samsung said that I needed to go to an authorized repair shop, which is uBreakifix and sent me the nearest location. I called the store to confirm that I needed to go in and explain the situation to the store employee at uBreakifix. I was very detailed on what I was talking about because I am a tech guy, and I know that smart rings cannot be repaired. They cannot be opened. The employee told me to come into the store, put Asurion insurance on it, and in 35 days call in and claim the warranty. That's what I was told to do. I came into the store today and spoke with the manager. The manager has no idea what I'm talking about. I asked to speak to the employee who told me this. The manager tried to claim the employee was new. I know for a fact that that's not a new employee if they know that insurance technique. The employee said he thought I was talking about a Ring doorbell camera, not a Samsung Galaxy Ring, when I specifically told him it was a Samsung Galaxy Ring and that Samsung told me to call them. I don't see how he could have gotten confused about what we were discussing when I was very detailed again, because I know that you can't fix a smart Ring. Samsung wants me to go there in order for them to diagnose what I already know, which is the battery is defective. The employee continues to lie to me in front of his manager about the conversation. Prior to the manager letting the employee talk to me he took him to the back which I can only assume to say there was a misunderstanding... I turned and looked at the manager and said, "This is the kind of employee you are hiring. I don't want to do any business here," and I left. Will never go to this business again. I used to run a repair shop like this with a close friend of mine many years ago and never did I lie about something I said over the phone or claim miscommunication... Update: Guess I should have read all the 1 star reviews before wasting my time we these guys..
