    Chocolate pots de crème

Had a really great dinner experience. This place is small and can only seat about 15 people. We made a reservation for 6 so we did not have to wait to be seated. Simple menu but still took us some time to decide what to order. I order the crab cake for appetizer and steak for entree. Crab cake was so soft and the sauce that came with it was delicious. Steak was Amazing. I had mine medium but would definitely recommend medium rare. Steak came with mashed potatoes, asparagus, finger potatoes and carrots with a wine sauce. Everything on this plate was delicious and I finished every last bit of it. For dessert we ordered the chocolate pots de crème and baked Nebraska. Chocolate was dense but good. The baked Nebraska was good. Loved the flambé show. Overall I highly recommend coming here. Chef also changes the menu periodically so it is worth a try!

Ok so I've been here a long time ago. I drive down the snow-covered driveway and the BMEr starts to slip a bit. Uh oh. Hope we don't have an issue getting back up the hill. We're greeted by a friendly crowd coming through the door. Wow, read that there's a rather lively crew in this place. This is going to be a great experience! We immediately order a bottle of Amarone dell Valpolicella. For appetizers we order crab cakes, endive salad and beet and arugula salad. My endive seasoned with apple cider vinaigrette and Maytag blue is just delicious. I share it with the others to rave acclaim. The grab cakes I try are very tasty Just per The beets I'm told are excellent For entrees I've ordered the steak as has my son's fiancé. The steak is absolutely delicious ( although I did have to cut away some fat) My son had ordered the very last ossobuco, which is a traditional Lombard veal shank, braised with vegetables, white wine and broth. Perfect for a cold winter night. Just splendid! To top it off I have a vanilla affogato with Grand Mariner. Wow folks the Supreme crown. This place earns the coveted 5 stars!

Salmon coulibiac ( look it up, then order it). The beurre blanc was amazing

Have been trying to get to this restaurant for about 3 years now. So very happy I did. To say it's intimate is an understatement. Beautifully decorated. To say it's fabulous is also an understatement. The food( orgasmic), the drinks( fabulous), the ambience(fantastic- love the bathroom!) And the service(capable, prompt and friendly). Chef really knows how to prepare alimentary art. (Would love to see what he can do with Spam). The crab cakes were the best I've ever had anywhere. This place has it all going on. It's a little pricey, but the quality and execution makes it worth every penny. It's an experience, not just a meal. You need to find this restaurant. I look forward to coming back and trying their Peking Duck.

My husband and I booked this reservation for our anniversary dinner and it was one of the best meals we have eaten in our lives. The restaurant is run by the owner who does everything. He's the chef; he's the waiter, he's the busser and answers the phones too. When eating inside, you can see the kitchen and what he's cooking up. I loved that the menu was interesting, but not too many choices which makes things complicated in my opinion. We tried almost every appetizer. The crab cakes are outstanding. You actually can enjoy the crab inside and not taste all breading like other places. The salad we had with arugula, golden beets, pine nuts and feta was outstanding. And the Burrata was out of this world. Then, my husband and I both had the lamb for dinner. As a Greek and I'm particular about lamb. This lamb was the best rack of lamb I ever had. Also; the French onion puff pasty tart was outstanding. I ate everything on my plate and enjoyed everything. The desserts were so incredible too, flavorful and not too rich and delicious. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant because I felt like I was having dinner at someone's home, rather than a commercial chain restaurant. What a great experience we had tonight. Thank you Chef Daniel!

I was so happy to see Dimsum on the menu until I saw the prices! Way more expensive than what you get in the city! So I opted for the seafood ramen lunch special for $17 which came with a choice of 2 sides. Service was quick. The place was clean with a lot of tables. I read some of the reviews before coming here and they were right, the broth was not hot enough and was a little bland. So I was very disappointed. I decided to try their sesame balls despite the price - $8.49 for 2 pieces since I was already here hoping that would make it better. Unfortunately it also missed the mark. I saw other people order noodle dish and fried rice and left with clean plates - maybe those taste better. I really hoped this place would be good.

The broth is excellent in both the Miso and Kuro ramen; the Kuro in particular was a standout, especially paired with the house-made gyoza. The kimchi tasted fresh, and it was great to see real wakame used rather than a shortcut substitute. The wait staff is a bit inexperienced, and the restaurant layout is awkward. Reservations are apparently recommended, and this isn't a place to visit if you're in a rush. Still, those minor drawbacks are easy to overlook given the quality of the food. You'd have to drive into NYC to get better ramen. Highly recommended.

Plus, we were craving a soul-soothing, heart-warming bowl of noodle goodness to warm us up from the inside out. Tanma's front counter space is petite with about 6 stools and giving you an eyeful of ramen magic in the kitchen. The izakaya is fun with Japanese rock music playing- which loosely reminded me of Kill Bill's 5.6.7.8's scene. Tanma's owner was thorough and gave hubs and I a crash course on bowl+spoon placement, aligning the wakame to be at the front, sipping the broth first, pulling noodles high and dipping them in and out the broth. And then just then you move your head closer to the bowl, so that you can take in the delicious ramen combo without spilling any and slurp it up. I've had ramen in Scarsdale with a clear veg broth, topped with crispy tofu, grilled tomato slices, Napa cabbage and other grilled veg. So getting an all-veg broth with a splash of coconut cream to mimic pork broth here wasn't what I expected. Getting an all-clear veg broth here isn't an option either- but what's important is we were assured it's a herbi-broth that's used. The kimchi, bamboo shoots and shredded cabbage toppings were nice- but I opted out of the vegan chashu instantly. Again, I was assured it's vegan- but no thank you. This was an experience for both of us- and we liked it. So whether you're a ramen pro or curious newcomers like my husband and I- and you're ready to dive into the deep end of this noodle soup pool, Tanma is the place.

But I found it very mediocre. Chicken potstickers were probably the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the general tso's lunch special, I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and we ordered the pineapple fried rice lunch special with chicken to share. There is a place closer to home where I order pineapple fried rice and it's super yummy and served in a pineapple. This was very boring, and bland. I wished it could be ordered with pork or pork belly, which has more flavor than chicken, but that wasn't an option. It did contain a lot of chicken so would be a decent sized standalone meal, but I wasn't impressed. The spicy miso ramen said it had a rich pork broth with miso added, but truth be told, it tasted like the free miso soup you get with sushi or hibachi. I forgot to add an egg - entirely my fault. But the soup overall was underwhelming. As was the general tso's. Fine but not great. Food came out quickly and it was busy, but I was not impressed at all and wish we chose somewhere better for lunch when in the area. We had leftovers, but it wasn't any better the second time around!
