Outstanding! The restaurant is located inside the The Historic Bethlehem Hotel. The food is wonderful and cooked to perfection. I had the Surf and Turf. An 8oz filet mignon with an entire lobster tail, served with drawn butter, fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, asparagus and baby turnips. I asked for raw horseradish which they had!!! Yay! My meal was devine. The best part- the service. I had a wonderful server who was very enthusiastic about the food here. He guided me what to order and was overall just very pleasant. What a pleasant addition to a wonderful evening. Overall: definitely go here!

The Hotel Bethlehem is such a beautiful, historic building. There are always weddings and other events happening and it's a lovely area as well. The Tap Room is the small restaurant in the front of the building overlooking Main Street, and I think because of the grandeur of the building and historic aspect, I aspected greatness from The Tap Room. However, I found the menu to be overpriced and somewhat small. I've been for dinner and for lunch and I probably wouldn't go back again unfortunately.

Amazing service at the bar by colleen! The bloody mary was the best I've ever had! My husband loved his Irish Coffee too! We ate lunch at the bar also. I had the crab cake on the appetizer menu and the beet salad. Both were a generous portion and beautiful presentation!

Small amount of outdoor seating. The service was friendly. Drinks weren't bad. Food was a little bland overall. Frites were a little dry/overdone. I got the scallops and you'd think for the price, you would get more than 4 over a small bed of greens. We had to go somewhere else for a "second" dinner

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. This is a local legendary landmark that everybody from Bethlehem knows about. It seems like the big, red Hotel Bethlehem sign is visible from ever corner you turn. I had high hopes for this place but I can't be bias when it comes to how good the food is or isn't. This place is so beautiful! The inside dinning area is very elegant and romantic, a great place for a first date. I ordered The B Burger and it was cooked very well. It was very meaty and juicy but it lacked flavor. My partner had the Mac and Cheese and it was OK. I read a review on another site it it read " the best this is was the coleslaw " which is my same sentiment. The slaw was great. Best slaw I ever had. But I don't come to nice restaurants to eat coleslaw. For the amount of money spent here everything should have been as good as the coleslaw. I don't appreciate the 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill. What if I didn't like the service and didn't want to give 20%? Luckily though, we had a very good waitress. She was awesome and she made us laugh. All in all I want to come back to this place. I don't want to give up on it. I have hope for it.

I discovered this charming pub while visiting Bethlehem (otherwise known as Christmas City USA)…read moreduring the recent holiday season. The space was lively, yet cozy. First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. The waiter was warm and easy to talk with. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. I'm glad I came across this place to have my fill of some British classics!

The roast beef was chewy and just gross. I'm assuming if you are a few drinks deep, you don't notice how bad the food is because there is no reason for this place to be four stars.

I saw a guy coming out and asked how the food was, he said it was great!! Only negative is the don't take credit cards. We waited more than 10 minutes to be greeted by our server (Jenni). She brought glasses, silverware, and plates but took no drink order or appetizer. The server stood ar the bar and talked to other employees for almost 20 minutes before she went to greet the one other table that had been seated during that time. She still never returned to take our order. TLDR: We were there more than 40 minutes spoke to our server 1 time had no order taken and we were the only table in the place upon entry

The prices were high for what we got, especially the drinks. I paid $15 for a glass of wine that wasn't even filled halfway, which felt pretty disappointing. I ordered the turkey BLT and wasn't impressed, and the fries were confusing--three different kinds mixed together and not much of a portion. My husband's wedge salad with grilled chicken was actually tasty, and the pierogies were probably the best part of the meal. One frustrating part was that I specifically asked for the pierogies to come out before our entrées, but they ended up arriving after we were already served. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so I'm not sure how that happened. The place looks cool from the outside and was convenient for where we were going, but overall the experience didn't live up to expectations. With so many other options nearby, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

It is definitely a college town bar (I'm in my early 50's). The bartender was prompt and took our drink orders right away. The cook is right in front of you at the bar which is kind of cool. You could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in their menu. He let us sample some of the sauces which was great. I had the special of the day which was a grilled tomato/bacon cheese on Texas toast and a tomato soup with rice, ground beef, onions and peppers. It was fantastic! I also had the Cowboy bites which were jalapeños with cream cheese, bacon and corn - my goodness they were so good! My bro had the "what came first". Fried chicken sandwich with a fried egg and bacon. It came with fries and he said it was really good. My husband had Tri-tip cheese steak with no mushrooms. He said it was delicious. We were there on our own time without a schedule, so we didn't mind having to wait for our bartender. It started getting busy while we were there so the vibe was pretty cool. We will definitely be going back!

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for
