A dive spot in Bethlehem PA. $2.25 drafts are always ready for you. It's dark and smells of stale cigarette smoke, with a juke box (the new glorified iPod kind) waiting to play your favorite songs. Definitely worth a stop for a drink or two if you're into small, friendly, divey places.

Bartender was very friendly and mixed me a good drink. Wasn't impressed with my cheese fries. Neat atmosphere if you're okay with smoking.

Friendly bar with good ventilation even with half the people smoking. Good prices and all-around a good time.

I discovered this charming pub while visiting Bethlehem (otherwise known as Christmas City USA)…read moreduring the recent holiday season. The space was lively, yet cozy. First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. The waiter was warm and easy to talk with. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. I'm glad I came across this place to have my fill of some British classics!

This spot is cute and the service was friendly and attentive…read more The food was terrible. Burger was inedible (the meat tasted old). The wings were char flavored. The roast beef was chewy and just gross. I'm assuming if you are a few drinks deep, you don't notice how bad the food is because there is no reason for this place to be four stars.

We have been here a few times now and it's been the same each time that I've learned what to expect…read moreand can pass it along to anyone who wants to check it out. You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for

My friends and I stopped by Thursday night for some drinks and bites to share. We ordered a mix of appetizers, including the cheesesteak egg rolls, breaded mozzarella half moons, housemade G's sauce wings, and the grilled cheese with fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The wings were the standout, great flavor with G's sauce, which is like a peppery hot sauce. It's not super spicy, but it does have a slight kick. The grilled cheese could've used more cheese, but overall, everything hit the spot. Fun place for a casual night out! They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.

She was welcoming, friendly, attentive, informative and professional. We were pleasantly surprised with brunch menu and specials. We ordered the half carafe of mimosas. A plump veggie omelette filled with fresh grilled mushrooms, peppers, and cheese with a side of breakfast potatoes-delish! My friend was equally as pleased with her eye catching and palate pleasing Cobb salad - perfectly sized portion of mix of fresh greens(good portion of romaine), fresh hard boiled egg, picture perfect avocado, delicious grilled, tasty chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing. We opted for booth seating in the bar area( plenty of natural sunlight). There is a large dining room and outdoor seating (we chose A/C yesterday, due to high humidity). They also have an extensive list of their brewed beers on tap, samplers and the like.... which they are known for. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch( available every Sunday).
