My arrival was just prior to 1pm on a Thursday in early September. There is convention and ample parking adjacent to the restaurant which is also a pub. I chose a burger as a quick and filling alternative, not desiring a heavy meal whilst driving solo. I was promptly greeted and seated by a bonne blonde haired, blue eyed lass. I ordered an "Edinburger" whi h came with fries, 2 onion rings, and a pickle which arrived within 10-12 minutes and cooked deliciously to my specifications. Altgough I would have preferred Scottish music, contemporary music was playing which isn't the worst thing. Oh, and the men's restroom was clean! For my entrée, I had the Grilled Salmon with asparagus, steamed rice, and pesto sauce. It was good overall, though the salmon itself was a bit mild and needed a touch of salt. The asparagus and rice were perfectly cooked and very tasty. My partner ordered the Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, served with chipotle maple black bean salsa, mashed potatoes, and green beans. He absolutely loved it--the pork was moist and flavorful, and the sides were just as good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. The pub has a really cool vibe, but it became extremely loud as more people came in. Unfortunately, it got to the point where we couldn't even hear each other to have a conversation. We had planned to order dessert, but decided to leave instead--the noise level was just too much, and it gave me a bit of a headache.

We stopped by and had a great conversation - turns out it was largely a misunderstanding but he was still more than willing to self-reflect, apologize and let us know that we were always welcome here. He also let us know that one of their goals as a business is to be open and welcoming to EVERYBODY. They definitely proved that to be true this time around and we've definitely found our new place to walk to and bring our friends! While we had a FANTASTIC experience our first time here, when we came back around 5pm this past Monday (7/26/2021), it was the complete opposite. We sat at the bar, had some delicious beer, and the bartender was lovely. Then one of the owners came behind the bar and started chatting with a man two seats down from my fiancée and I. They started spouting off about a whole host of controversial topics quite loudly, but what really killed the vibe was when the owner said "those f***ing f***ots" loud enough for the whole bar to hear. My fiancée and I are a queer couple and felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Our 100 guests brought in huge bar revenue on a holiday weekend while keeping the space open to the public, yet we felt like an unwanted burden. Bait-and-Switch Pricing: I laid out a very basic party plan that was much more like a birthday than a wedding, and Rob gave me a quote. Hours after agreeing to the price and securing our date, he called back claiming his "partner" said they couldn't do a "wedding" for that price, raising it by several hundred dollars with no other explanation or change in my basic plan. Nickel-and-Diming: Rob initially pitched add-ons like a chocolate fountain and a coffee bar - I loved both ideas until it turned out they'd cost more than my caterer charged for our whole dinner service. In hindsight, I have no idea where he would have even put these in the space we were given. He also wanted to charge $150 to set out 10 centerpieces, $150 for servers, and extra fees for tables he wasn't even sure if he had. I declined and found help with these things elsewhere. Lost Payments (DO NOT PAY CASH): I dropped off my 50% deposit check on June 25 (cleared July 1). Rob confirmed by text that he had received it. On Aug 10, Rob texted (in the same text thread) asking if I had ever paid a deposit or sent the contract. I had to text him a photo of the cleared check because he also forgot the amount. Ignored Messages & Sarcasm: A week before the wedding, Rob read my FB message and texts across two days with zero response. I had to ask my DJ to nudge him (they're friends). When Rob finally called back, he was sarcastic and hid behind being "off." A simple "I'm off, I'll call Friday" would have sufficed. Music Caps: Rob wasn't sure he could accommodate my request to play some Greek music for my family between dinner and the DJ starting, claiming it "impeded normal operations." When he finally agreed, he capped it to 15 minutes. If you've ever been to Seven Sirens on a Saturday evening, you know there's never much going on before 8pm; not sure why this was even an issue when I was renting out the space and providing a normal DJ & karaoke for the remainder of everyone's entertainment. Dirty Venue: When I arrived to decorate a couple hours before the reception, the tables and seats were dirty. I had to wipe them down myself (in my wedding hair & makeup) and remove a messy extension cord left across the booths where my guests would be eating. They also failed to set up our 4 catering tables. The poor single bartender on duty was completely uninformed and had to haul heavy tables out by herself. Mid-Reception Interruptions: The first time I ever met Rob was while I was trying to enjoy dinner with my guests. He interrupted to say I could play my Greek music after all because--exactly as I'd predicted--there were no outside patrons there anyway. By then, dealing with music logistics wasn't something I wanted to manage mid-reception, and so I said 'forget it.' He also asked how I was going to pay the remaining balance, and I had to inform him that his bar manager already received my check the night before. The Bright Spots: Bar Staff: The bar manager, Sam, and the bartenders were fantastic and kept the many tabs for all our guests very well-managed. We're still trying to figure out how one couple ended up with a $400 tab for only two of them, but we think they stuck to their signage that you'll buy the bar a round if you don't close your tab before you leave (they returned to retrieve their forgotten credit card the next day). DJ Dave Waldron: Their preferred DJ was amazing and made our party a fantastic time. Bottom Line: Management misplaces financial records, leaves the space dirty, dumps setup on single bar staff, and nickel-and-dimes clients. I have screenshots and photos to back up my statements if management wants to try and dispute this review. Look elsewhere in the Lehigh Valley if you want a stress-free event that you don't have to micromanage.

Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. Been there a couple times now, honestly the food is so inconsistent that it's crazy. First of all they have no idea how to cook a burger so honestly just order it well and be done with it. Their medium rare is well, there medium is well done, and ironically there well done is very pink. They claim to have premium wine but honestly every single wine they carry is on par with Barefoot in terms of complexity and price range at the liquor store but they somehow think it's okay to charge $8 for a glass of $20 bottle of wine. Their beer selection is moderate, but it isn't as "craft" as they would like to make you think it is. Cocktails are bad, no matter what a gimlet should never be salty. My gimlet was so salty it made my lips sting. To move on from what they are selling the service is also terrible. Honestly we may be the first table that our waitress has ever waited on. She seemed like one of those airhead girls who also accidentally charged us for the wrong food and didn't seem to know how to remove it herself. I don't really want to ramble on but generally the service was an absolute nightmare that had me leaving wondering whether or not that really just happened. WARNING: THIS RESTAURANT SOMEHOW REMOVED MY REVIEW FROM THEIR YELP PAGE. I AM NOW RE-POSTING IT. I ALSO CHECKED AND ALMOST ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FROM WHEN THIS RESTAURANT FIRST OPENED AND FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE FRIENDS OF THE OWNERS. YELP SPECIFICALLY STATES NOT TO WRITE A REVIEW IF YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE OWNERS OR EMPLOYEES IN ANY WAY. Waiter was friendly in an almost condescending way. This may sound nit picky but we had a moderately sized group and everyone though he was creepy. Recommended fat tire to me when I told him I liked IPA's because he said "it was real popular". Food is massively over priced for unfortunate portion sizes. Quality was alright but honestly it reminded me of a bad diner. Did I mention the beer was warm? Has an obnoxiously hipster vibe and the whole place looks like it is falling apart. Rudy's diner isn't far away and has exceptionally better food and there are other bars in the area that have cheaper better beer or cooler crafty cocktails. This place is too in between everything to be relevant and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

**BEWARE -- Check Your Receipts Before You Leave**…read more We visited this establishment the other night for the second time, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. When we arrived, we ordered one round of drinks at the outside bar and paid by card. We then decided to stay for food, so we sat at a table where another bartender took care of us. We ordered another round of drinks along with our food. During our meal, we were suddenly presented with another bill for drinks. Naturally, we were confused because we had already paid. When we questioned the bartenders, we received two completely different explanations. The inside bartender told us the drinks should have been included on our food bill and said she didn't understand why the outside bartender was charging us again\. The outside bartender then claimed that drinks ordered at the outside bar go through her system separately. I specifically asked whether those drinks would also appear on our food bill, and she said **no**. Based on that explanation, we paid. Imagine our surprise when we received our final food bill and those same drinks were on it AGAIN. At that point, we spoke with the manager, expecting him to simply look at the receipts and correct the mistake. Instead, we were given yet another explanation. He claimed that the charges appearing on my bank statement were simply from tipping and insisted he only saw one signed receipt. Double charges appeared cause I tipped??? Except...I signed two receipts and had both receipts in my possession. So, despite ordering two rounds of drinks, we were ultimately charged for three. Mistakes happen. Technology glitches. People make errors. What is unacceptable is being given conflicting stories, having legitimate concerns dismissed, and then being told something that simply isn't true when you have the receipts sitting right in front of you. I'm not going to accuse anyone of intentionally stealing from customers, but after this experience, I certainly understand why a customer would feel that way. If you choose to visit this establishment, do yourself a favor: CHECK YOUR BILL Then check your bank statement afterward. Apparently, you have to be your own accountant when you're here. We won't be returning. There are plenty of places that appreciate their customers and can manage to provide a bill that actually matches what was ordered and paid for.
