Very cool place ... upscale dive bar (that is meant to be a compliment) I love the vibe of this place. I highly recommend checking this place out for the bar & small plates, lor diner! The server was great ... the food was delicious. The prices are slightly high for the food, but not ridiculous. I love the wings here! I've been a bunch of times! The handmaid dressings are a nice touch. The Bloody Mary is out of this world! One of the best I've had in Pa hands down! Thanks Billy for having an awesome joint. Nice cozy atmosphere and live music. It's a yes for me !

Place has a rustic, trendy vibe. Ordered the "Not your Moms Deviled Eggs" and a House Salad - I think they scraped the onions off of their Smoked Salmon dish, cause I feel like I ate a Lox Bagel - Salad was really sorry. Have an ok selection of beer, their hamburgers look excellent on the menu but unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to have one - will make a point of it next time. Prices are high IMO. Bartender seemed kind of overwhelmed, for the amount of people there - typical you're not a regular so ah you might might not be important but we'll take your money and don't forget the 20% tip experience. Owner or manager was a little standoffish, maybe a bad day? I might try this place again, might not - wasn't bad, wasn't great. Hope they succeed, only time will tell. This is a generous review I'd say closer to a two star then a three.

My friend picked out this restaurant after noticing it in the "Hot and New" list for Bethlehem. Even before walking in I knew there would be a great atmosphere inside... awesome decorations and a really cool take on the industrial vibe for a pub. Once inside the bar was packed but to my surprise there weren't many people eating at the tables in the back. Initially, I was worried I was in for "bar-food"... but the more we spoke to the waiter the more i fell in LOVE with the entire concept at Southside 313. I had 1/2 a pulled pork burger, 1/2 a peppercorn burger, Mac-n-cheese and tasted one of their 313 balls (fried potato, shrimp & cheese balls). BUT WHAT REALLY bumps this from a 3.5 to 4 star review was the owners moms RUM CAKE. OMGAHHHH. I was SO full I was ready to shoo away the waiter at the mention of dessert, but the way he talked about the rum cake made it impossible to resist. There was not a CRUMB left on that plate. YOU NEED THE RUM CAKE. ORDER IT! Overall, I hope this place takes off! Really great concept with an awesome atmosphere. They are supporting local farmers/produce and the owners mom makes the BEST RUM CAKE EVER.

OHHH AM I SO IMPRESSED!! I came in an ordered a couple apps, one entre for myself, and a drink and really really enjoyed myself. I like the new decor, staff was excellent, the menu is right up my alley (didn't really like the Looper's menu). I am very very very happy with this new bar and highly recommend!!

Don't greet you. Cater to their regulars. A bar maid tried to rip me off $1 (one dollar). Really......?

It's a divey place. Not very inviting. Seems like a local bar. Nothing to attract customers.

The waitress was nice. Maybe for a College dive bar to get drunk at. The food was gross. Save your money and just drink there.

Went on mother's day. Pretty small place. Nice waitresses. Pretty good pub food. The PBJ wings stood out to post. They were yummy.

I discovered this charming pub while visiting Bethlehem (otherwise known as Christmas City USA)…read moreduring the recent holiday season. The space was lively, yet cozy. First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. The waiter was warm and easy to talk with. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. I'm glad I came across this place to have my fill of some British classics!

The roast beef was chewy and just gross. I'm assuming if you are a few drinks deep, you don't notice how bad the food is because there is no reason for this place to be four stars.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. Place wasn't busy which was great. We were able…read moreto get seats at the bar. I've been here before after my kids hockey games at steel ice. It is definitely a college town bar (I'm in my early 50's). The bartender was prompt and took our drink orders right away. The cook is right in front of you at the bar which is kind of cool. You could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in their menu. He let us sample some of the sauces which was great. I had the special of the day which was a grilled tomato/bacon cheese on Texas toast and a tomato soup with rice, ground beef, onions and peppers. It was fantastic! I also had the Cowboy bites which were jalapeños with cream cheese, bacon and corn - my goodness they were so good! My bro had the "what came first". Fried chicken sandwich with a fried egg and bacon. It came with fries and he said it was really good. My husband had Tri-tip cheese steak with no mushrooms. He said it was delicious. We were there on our own time without a schedule, so we didn't mind having to wait for our bartender. It started getting busy while we were there so the vibe was pretty cool. We will definitely be going back!

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for

They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.
