Main street has really been becoming a cultural hub for culinary dining. Braveheart Highland Pub sits amongst the exciting collection of restaurants that have congregated here offering Scottish cuisine and alcoholic beverages to complement. The establishment has a fairly large parking lot along the side stretching towards the back of the establishment. I can see this place being a very popular destination for sports fans with tv's on both sides of the bar as well as ample dining areas including an outdoor patio setup for warmer days. The pub's design is very clean and simple. Exactly what I would picture a European pub to look like. Their bridies immediately caught my attention as it was very similar to a popular lunch item in school and it was very close too! The flakiness on the outside with a nice meaty soft inside doused with thick brown gravy mmm. The peas were perfect and were not mushy at all. Fries were well seasoned but I preferred their mash potatoes. Their fish and chips were interesting and not what I expected at all. The freshness of the fish was questionable or perhaps it was the type of oil or batter used. It gave off a slight burnt after-taste and reminded me very much of funnel cake. The coleslaw was a very welcome pairing to help wash things down. My favorite was their beef stew. The richness of the gravy, the pefectly cooked potatoes/carrots/peas, the consistency of the tenderloin tips with a side of soda pop bread. That bread i could use another helping of! Magnificent for what it is and my expectations were low. Definitely will come back to try the other menu items when I am back in the area.

10/10 would recommend! We sat on the covered patio and had a great time. I ordered the black and blue steak special, served over mashed potatoes with a rich blue cheese cream sauce, while my brother enjoyed the sirloin steak. Both dishes were excellent! Our server, Ali, was absolutely amazing, attentive, charismatic, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. She defines top-tier service. If you haven't had the chance, do yourself a favor and check out this awesome restaurant!

I was in town for a concert and decided to grab something to eat and was interested in this Scottish themed pub. I'm glad I stopped. Service was really good and I loved the atmosphere in the bar. I got the Highland burger, which was great. Super filling and I couldn't even finish it. So tasty. Fries were great too. Good prices. Thank you.

We loved everything about our experience, and the food was delicious! The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. The service was excellent, and the choices were unlimited, so there was something for everyone. Portions are generous, and my daughter and I shared the burger and a Caesar salad. The burger was cooked to perfection and was one of the best I have had. This would be a go-to restaurant if I lived in town!

Being from Scotland, my family has been talking about going here for ages. We finally were all able to go for Birthday lunch! Upon entering it really had that great British Pub feel, lots of sports on the tv. People at & around the bar. Families there after church for a bite. Twenty something's there for some beer & wings watching a game. Our waitress was efficient and nice, especially being as crowded as it was. Glad we had a reservation for the twelve of us! None of us could decide what to eat, too many tastes of home to choose from. My son however quickly ordered nachos, chips, calamari & wings for the table, somehow I didn't get a wing but other apps ended up being their shining stars!!! Most of us had "Scottish" food, I'll say we weren't all that impressed. 3 of us had the Scottish Sampler, the pie was good & very similar to an authentic pie, the sausages were awful - didn't even get close - you can get Irish bangers here, not sure why they wouldn't get those, if they don't want to make their own? The Bridie, although the puff pastry was nice, filling was similar to a shredded brisket. Not for me. The shepherds pie, had lovely mashed potato's on top but the meat & veg inside lacked any gravy leaving it dry. Fish and chips were cooked well, needed tons of salt & malt vinegar. Their burgers however were great, the waitress just messed up who wanted what temperature & we had waited so long at that point, two of the guys weren't sending them back. One ate his fully & the other ate the outside edges because it was way too rare. My mum was happy with her sticky toffee pudding & honestly that's what she really wanted. I'd go back for a pie & chips if sitting at the bar, while driving through. Not for great tasting Scottish food however! Some of us came from Brooklyn also. Can't say they'll be back!

Braveheart Highland Pub is a restaurant in Hellertown that specializes in Scottish cuisine. They are located right off of Main St. On top of all your Scottish favorites this place also has chicken, steak, seafood, pasta, and pub food. You won't have trouble finding something you like. I started with the Scottish Eggs and Scottish Nachos. They were both good, but wouldn't order either of them again. For my entree I ordered the Braveheart Chicken Oscar. This dish was fantastic! It's made with chicken breast, lump crab, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and lemon butter sauce. The chicken melted in your mouth! Highly recommend. Our server Maddie was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, respectful, and knew the menu very well. I definitely want to come back for the Traditional English Carvery. This is only available on Sundays. As one might expect in a Scottish pub, the scotch selection was very solid! Staff was friendly and the baked cod was tasty. It gets really loud during peak times so that's good to be aware of!

Everything came out exactly as expected, and the flavors worked really well together. The Ham & Brie had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the Fish & Chips was crispy and cooked well. Also had a mimosa with brunch, which was a nice addition. If you're looking for a brunch spot in Lititz or just a place for good food and drinks, this is definitely worth checking out.

The mash must have been made with turnip and potato as it was slightly sweet, onion gravy was spot on as were the carrots. The spouse went with the quesadilla. she stated the steak was really good. Ice tea for both of us . unexpectedly water was available for any one from a tap near the doors. Plastic cups, no purchase needed. Great idea! We shall return, nice place and good food is hard get any more. $42.30 plus tip we always tip at 20% ( or the spouse gets testy.) but the server / cleaner didn't get the idea it was for her, I actually had to say " this is a tip, for you! What a lovely little spot on the Main Line! I am an afternoon tea connoisseur, so my expectations…read morewere rather high... and they were surpassed! I had been in the area for several days to tour apartments and daycares in advance of our planned move to Pennsylvania next year... so a lovely tea was my little splurge on the trip after days of drinking protein shakes on the go. I made a reservation for 10 am on Sunday, right when they opened, since I was going to go straight to the airport afterward. I was seated immediately, and everything came out pretty fast. I opted for the full afternoon tea, which comes with eight tea sandwiches, a scone with clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves, and three assorted mini pastries, along with a pot of tea. You can choose up to four flavors for the sandwiches (so you get two of each flavor for a total of eight mini sandwiches), so I got the curried chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and cheddar cheese and chutney. Most tea places give you four sandwiches per person, so there was no way I was finishing eight of these. Thankfully, I got four of them in a to-go box and they ended up being a tasty snack on the plane. The curried chicken salad was my favorite (which they sell in their to-go containers in the gift shop), followed by the cucumber and cream cheese (the cucumbers were thinly sliced, which makes a big difference!). The egg salad was good, but a bit mild-flavored. I can't say I loved the cheddar cheese and chutney combo, so in the future I might just opt for more of the curried chicken or cucumber sandwiches instead. For the scone, I chose blueberry citrus, which was delicious! I used a very thin layer of the lemon curd, followed by the strawberry preserves and topped with the clotted cream. All of the flavors worked quite well on the scone. I wasn't blown away by the mini desserts (I can't recall exactly what flavors they were, but there was a posset that was a bit saltier than I was expecting, a blueberry cream puff, and a mini cake slice). But as I've gotten older, I've found myself more drawn to the savory aspect of afternoon teas anyway. The rest of the meal was delicious enough, and filling enough, that I honestly was never going to be able to finish everything. I was dining solo here, and I'm guessing not a lot of people do a tea for one, so I ended up chatting with 4-5 different employees here over the course of my meal. I have to say that the service here may have been the friendliest I've experienced pretty much anywhere. Everyone I spoke with was so welcoming and kind! When it came time for me to leave, they all wished me a safe trip back to Florida and said they hoped to see me again as one of their "regulars" once we move. I can already tell you, I hope that's the case too! This place is adorable, inside and out. And I love the assorted British foods available in the gift shop, along with fun kitchenware. If my suitcase hadn't already been packed to the brim, I probably would've spent more money in that shop. I'm looking forward to returning next year once I escape the Sunshine State :)

The servers and people looked a little rushed a couple people came over to speak to us and check…read moreout our experience, but they didn't have a name tag or uniform on so it was a bit startling at first The idea is you purchased the tray and then you purchase a pot of tea they're small but are refillable and I had a ginger tea that was spectacular and everybody else who had Earl Gray and another spiced tea all loved them The food was wonderful plenty to eat and when one over hungry child wanted more they brought more. They also brought more gluten/dairy free dessert for her as well. We drove almost 2 hours and I would not be against doing it again. They have a nice lovely shot that you can mill around in parking is easy. Everybody was absolutely pleasant as can be and the food presentation was as lovely looking as it was eating
