The Table is a rather crowded affair on Saturdays for brunch, but that's no real surprise for any establishment offering bottomless mimosas. We waited around twenty minutes for a table of six, ordered our food and mimosas, and the wait was on. The restaurant itself is big enough to feel roomy despite being busy, and our food came out in a timely fashion. I got a smoked salmon hash browns dish, which was a delicious blend of fried and savory. Unfortunately, our mimosa refills were nowhere near as timely. Though the restaurant didn't seem short-staffed, our glasses were more often empty than full, and though we filled the time with conversation, the constant waiting wasn't quite what we'd expected. Overall, The Table delivered brunch and mimosas, but not one I would recommend or consider returning to. Perhaps I'll come back someday for brunch, but it'll be sans mimosas. read more

The bread was toasted in butter and garlic and had a hole in it for the egg. The ham slices were super thick (not deli meat ham)! It would have been great had it not been for a chaotic disorganized mess during a busy brunch seating and the lack of service, or inconsideration of actual service, that really kept this place shining for us. It really began before we even was seated. My cousin had a reservation for 11:00am for Sunday Brunch. As we drove around looking for parking, we noticed the long lines and was happy that we had made a reservation. We arrived at 11:00am on the dot and was told that the staff needed to seat others first, they were looking at maybe 5-10 minute wait. Okay, so we wait. We waited for 10 minutes and went up to ask if our table was ready. We received the same response and was advised that they needed another 15-20 minutes. So... a broken and disorderly reservation system. Already to a bad start. About 35 minutes after our reservation, we were finally seated. It wasn't until another 10 minutes until our server came over and introduced herself to us. Nice lady, but she seemed very distracted and careless. For example, she spilled water all over the table twice times--how? She forgets to tell us the specials until we've pretty much decided to order. She walks away from our table abruptly and doesn't check in with us after taking our orders. We had to flag down someone to ask for our check. The service was quite unfortunate. However, the food was very good. We ordered the follow: Duck Liver Mousse to share. Very well done. Light spread of duck liver onto a rustic piece of toast with fresh and vibrant vegetables. Enjoyable and delicious. The Smoked Salmon and Potato Rosti. This may have been my favorite dish. It was put together very well with smoked salmon, capers, creme fraiche over a nice bed of potato rosti. It was light and decadent with each element complimenting each other. The Corned Beef Hash. A classic but modernized with large chunks of corned beef, potatoes, vegetables, and their 63 egg. You get the classic flavors and taste of corned beef hash, but with an amped up experience. The Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, my cousin said he enjoyed it. The Fried Chicken and Biscuits was done well. Classic fare as you would expect but the fried chicken was a darker, more richer and juicier type of meat. Someone mentioned that the chicken in the Fried Chicken and Biscuit was the same chicken used in the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, just dressed different... perhaps? Overall, I would visit this place again, for the food. But I would visit this place only during an off-peak time. I would avoid the Sunday brunch. Our waitress was really sweet and kept checking in on us. As for what we got, I had the ube oat milk, the southwest omelette, and the Alfredo pasta. Decided to go here for my birthday dinner and was really glad I did. This was a delicious restaurant and a great way to celebrate the special occasion. LOCATION: This restaurant is located in Willow Glen and is actually right underneath the Willow Glen sign. It's very difficult to miss so I don't think you will have trouble finding it. They have a nice outdoor seating area (mostly covered) as well as an inside seating area for your dining pleasure. PARKING: The restaurant does have dedicated parking but when we went there at 5pm, the parking lot was full. If you are ordering to go, they have 2 dedicated 20 min parking spots in that parking lot as well that was not full. I decided to park on "Coolidge Avenue" which is the residential street right next to the restaurant and found a ton of parking and a short walk. Hopefully this helps someone out in the future. SERVICE: Tip = When you check in, make sure you tell them if you want to sit inside/outside. I think the host assumed we wanted to sit outside so we waited for 15 minutes before sitting down while the inside area was not very full. Make sure you tell them where you want to sit. Other than that, during the service, our waitress (Denise) was extremely good. She checked on us frequently and filled our waters whenever it was empty. FOOD: We got to experience both the Happy Hour Menu (ends at 5:30pm) as well as the regular Dinner Menu. I'll put an * next to the food I recommend as well as a short description of each. It doesn't come with "wedges" but that was okay with me. Hands down one of the best burgers I've eaten in a while. Perfectly cooked medium rare meat with a soft bun and tangy sauce. Highly recommended. Regular Dinner Menu: 1.) Shishito Peppers - Ample amount of peppers but not the best thing I ever ate. Good but not a must. 2.) Potato Pine Nut Fritters* - Really like the romesco sauce that comes with this plate as well as the pine nuts sprinkled about. If you are a fan of potato dishes, this is the one to get. 3.) Tagliatelle Pasta* - The entree I decided to get and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Beautiful presentation and the pasta felt home-made and was just the right consistency of soft/hard. Delicious and very comforting. 4.) Pan Roasted Duck Breast* - This is what my fiance got and she thought it was excellent. They do not take reservations on weekends but I just got there around 9:30 and they were able to seat us all at 10am which was awesome. They were so extremely accommodating and understanding. We had a bit of confusion with our guests who did/didn't RSVP and Aubrey and Nolis went out of their way to make sure everyone was seated and comfortable at the table! One of my first times sitting inside a restaurant post a pandemic opening of Santa Clara County! It was the first time I was seeing my whole family and all for Father's Day! Everyone was fully vaccinated as we were masks to walk into the restaurant and then took them off once we were seated. Bottomless mimosas for $13 per person? Say less... My friends and I were planning to come here on a Saturday morning around 11:00 am to avoid a long wait. When I called in to ask for an estimated wait time, the host was actually able to book me a reservation with Resy over the phone so we were able to secure a table without having to wait too long! When we got there, it took about 5-7 minutes to set up our table. If we weren't able to secure a reservation, our wait probably would've been maybe 40 minutes or more as there were already a good amount of people standing around before us waiting to be seated. There is plenty of dining areas here, they have a tent in the back and some more tables spread out throughout their patio and sidewalk with outdoor heaters. They quickly run their COVID-19 protocol by you before seating you which just makes you feel a bit safer just seeing how serious they're taking it. I tried the Eggs Benedict and it was pretty yummy! The pork loin was a little salty and it was a lot thinner than I was expecting but nonetheless it was still tasty and I loved the hollandaise sauce. I think they use garlic bread as opposed to a biscuit for this plate and that's genius to me, it really complemented the whole benedict well and made it flavorful. I normally never finish my plate for brunch in general and have something to take to-go but here I was able to finish my whole plate as the portion is noticeably smaller compared to other restaurants like Bills, Crepevine, or Breakfast Club, although it's still around the same price. $18 for an eggs benedict is fine but for a smaller portion? A bit pricey in my opinion... Anyways I also tried my friend's Sausage and Biscuit & Gravy and although it didn't really look that appetizing, the gravy was delicious! The main reason we went here was for the bottomless mimosas. Our glasses got filled up about 5 times throughout our brunch, some pitchers are stronger than others so there is a little inconsistency issue there but by the end of the 5th glass the mimosas definitely did the job. I tried the corn beef hash benedict and the taste/flavor of the dish was not at all like other corn beef hash dishes. The beef cubes had a pungent flavor and I was not personally a fan of. With a name like "the only burger that belongs on the table", my expectations were high for a elevated diner burger. Had the opportunity to go to The Table for brunch today, and it was a great decision! I have been here twice before - once for brunch and another time for dinner, and both times in the past I have enjoyed myself here thoroughly. Today, thankfully my party ended up deciding to go early - so even through we had reservations at 10:15, we ended up getting there around 9:50ish. This early in the morning we were able to be seated pretty quickly and chose to sit indoors as it was more cozy. My friend ended up ordering a coffee while for the main entrees we got: * Ham eggs benedict - my friend enjoyed this one and really loved the hash browns it came with *Potato frittata - Other friend got this one and she liked it - she called out that the sauce it came with was delicious! *fried chicken with biscuits & gravy - now this is an item that's not on the menu anymore but I had seen pics on yelp and really wanted to try it out! I was lucky that fresh biscuits were made when we ordered so I was able to snag a plate! Enjoyed this and the hashbrowns it came with thoroughly - one thing is I just wish the the gravy had a more creamy flavor. There was something laughing but couldn't pinpoint what exactly. * ricotta beignets with Lemon curd - always love these, they came out warm and crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. Really enjoyed having lunch here! My friend and I came for bottomless mimosas because it was a rough week and happy to find out that it was only $13! Where I went to college, it was only a minimum of $25. I was already sold on this restaurant. For food we ordered: - mussel tagliatelle - chicken Adobe sandwich They both were delicious but we were hoping for more flavor. We found it lacking. The manager was super nice and offered for us to have it remade, but we couldn't accept. We're definitely going to come back to try it again and attempt to sit by the fire place on the outdoor patio! read more
