Due to a major mistake on the venue's end, our couple's wedding cake was served to a different event the day before the wedding. Yes... the entire cake was gone. We were left without a cake for the bride and groom to cut on their wedding day, and with very little time to fix it. Enter Batter Up Bakery... and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first interaction, Samantha at the front counter was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Selena, the decorator, did an unbelievable job recreating the cake exactly as originally designed. And Jim, the owner who handled delivery, was professional, communicative, and ensured everything arrived perfectly. They stepped in quickly and created a replacement cake that looked identical to what the couple originally ordered. Not only was it visually perfect, but it was also delicious. The entire process was seamless and handled with such care. The most incredible part? The bride had no idea anything had gone wrong until after the wedding. Everything felt flawless, and that is exactly what you hope for as a planner. In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced customer service like this. I eventually got the payment to go through on my own, but the interaction left me feeling like my business wasn't appreciated.
