LOVE THIS PLACE Vegetarian who lives in Seattle here and let me tell you this place is worth the visit. There are so many sushi shops around but if you have any restrictions with meat or are pregnant and not wanting to eat any or just looking for amazing vegetable based sushi this is for you. Everything is fantastic I recommend going for their special rolls or whatever your server recommends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can be busy but is never too loud and they I do have a vendetta against the wobbly uncomfy furniture outside I still cannot take this down a star it is too good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommend the green goodness, habanero roll, red dragon, and the crusty crab!

I've never had Vegan sushi before. We've walked past this place a lot but never bothered to check it out until today. We were missing out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has soft lighting with plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They serve the food with a little robot. Service was phenomenal, they were so kind, checked up on us a lot and also had personalized conversations with multiple people dining in the restaurant. The sushi was so delicious. Great / similar texture of non vegan sushi. We ordered the geisha, spicy tuna, veggie and Queen Anne roll. 14 pieces total between two people. Queen Anne and geisha were definitely a table favorite. The roles were fairly large considering they didn't have a piece of fish in it. 10000% will be returning asap

Glad to have found a vegan sushi spot in Seattle. Never really enjoyed sushi being a vegetarian until today and now have the entire menu to pick from! Food was really good, service was also quick as not too busy on a weekday. We tried spring rolls, mango sake, Mr.Crabs - tempura roll, Maui and strawberry cheesecake . Everything was delicious and exceeded expectations! Will definitely revisit.

This place is 100% vegan and was the best sushi I've ever had. The crispy shrimp roll and dragon roll were my favorites. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday and had a great time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were really sweet. I recommend x1000.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent place. It's a small place so booking a reservation is not a bad idea.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with a friend and we tried all the gluten free rolls. By the way this place is fully vegan. Everything is mocked fish. My favourites were Spicy Tuna, Seattle Roll and Yoga. All are gluten-free. I wouldn't recommend Mango Tango. The service was excellent. Very nice host and really passionate about the restaurant and its menu.

Vegan sushi that tastes just as if it were made of fish

Delicious healthy sushi and more. Kindness all around. So glad there is a vegan sushi place in Seattle

Vegan sushi. Looks like fish but it isn't! Incredible!

This sushi is delicious, very satisfying and I didn't miss the fish. Complex flavors, wonderful miso soup too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for a birthday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Love to see a 100% plant based sushi restaurant in Seattle! We know the city certainly could use the diversity. 5 stars for the creativity of making quality sushi without fish! That's true talent. Service was great. Restaurant is quaint. Fun casual vibe. Food was good but I think we ordered incorrectly for our likings. Everything had the vegan mayo which we quickly realized we do not like. We would love to come back and try all the other rolls with no mayo. As the sushi rolls were good!

Always love coming to vegan sushi places when we travel! The tempura fried one was the best but they have so many options! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is indoor and outdoor seating so perfect for the summer time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came quickly and in a nice area! Staff was friendly!

The food here is always a hit! Me and my family were introduced to this restaurant through one of my sisters' friends and i can say without a doubt that it is the best vegan sushi i've had in my life. All the flavors are well balanced and you can tell that quality ingredients went into the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Additionally, i love the cozy nature of the restaurant itself and the service is phenomenal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The folks who work there are so kind, open and will give the best suggestions! If you're ever in the Queen Anne area or Seattle in general i sincerely highly recommend you check this place out!

Came around 8pm on a weekend. Parking was really easy with free street parking. The shop is pretty small so it was completely packed. We waited about 5min for a table as it was getting late. Menu is very extensive so we did take a bit to order after being seated. Served wasand food came after 20min from ordering. 7/10 Ring of Fire $10.24 6pc - just meh, little below real sushi compared to grocery store sushi. 9/10 Katana $15.99 8pc - very solid! Texture and taste both were excellent and quite comparable to good real sushi 7/10 Crunchy Salmon $11.99 6pc - similar sentiment as ring of fire. Nothing really stood out in a good or bad way. 10/10 Dragon $16.99 8pc - amazing! The top replicated seared salmon/fish taste and the sauce is the same as the unagi sauce which was so good!! Must get! Overall expensive but good spot considering it is vegan. QR Menu: https://www.foodbooking.com/ordering/restaurant/menu?restaurant_uid=c50e807b-eaed-479a-b270-64953afe4598&dine_in=true

I am so grateful to have this vegan sushi place in Seattle and glad to have been able to dine here! We will be back! The experience was absolutely amazing. Everything from the customer service to the sushi was excellent! The atmosphere is very casual and laid back. I loved the vibe! I had the crunchy shrimp sushi and it was delicious. My wife and I also had other types of sushi as well. I am vegetarian, but I am also allergic to shellfish, so I am glad I found this place so that I can have a plant based shellfish taste. The sushi did not appear vegan or taste vegan, and the taste was awesome! I highly recommend Sushi Samurai! We also loved Mio the robot who assists the servers. She is so cute!

Given the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience, the omakase was an incredible deal. It's not often you leave a high-end sushi restaurant feeling like you got more than what you paid for, but that's exactly how we felt here. If you're looking for a memorable omakase in Seattle, Shiro's absolutely deserves a spot at the top of your list. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

I love this concept. I'm not much of a roll person bc it's always pricey and then you have to eat all 6-8 pieces, so this was right up my alley. We loved it so much, we came here 2x when we were in Seattle. And even our first time we had to get seconds. All the sushi from the beginning are rolls, and near the end they are nigiris. So save some space for the good stuff at the end. The first time during lunch hour, they kept restocking the sushi, and they even had bluefin tuna nigiri at the very end! Score!! I'm more of a nigiri person so I got half rolls and half nigiri. Of course this isn't like fancy restaurant sushi, but more of like casual dining sushi and bc there were so many people, it was fresh bc it was a high turnover. Sushi quality was decent. Reminded me of just like an AYCE sushi quality. You won't get sick, but don't expect Jiro Dream of Sushi quality here. lol. The other time we went was during dinner of 1 hour before they close, the selection wasn't as good as they didn't have bluefin tuna nigiri, but still worth it and didn't cost us an arm and leg to get sushi. I hope someone catches this concept in San Diego! It's so clever. Love it and would love to come back again.

They don't take phone calls or reservations online - very old school. Which I think makes it more desirable. We ended up getting a special room with a "chabudai" style table! What I did find pleasant was that although it was a lower table, there was an opening beneath the table that allowed your legs to hang rather than having to sit Indian style. Tyson was an amazing server. Was attentive, accommodated our allergies and was thoughtful with us having a young child. He was so pleasant and polite! We enjoyed the following: Baked miso glazed eggplant - YUM and melts in your mouth. Black Miso Cod Collar - this was pleasantly surprising and so delicious. Eat bite was tender and flavorful. Simple yet so appetizing. Sushi rolls were both fresh and well prepared. The nigiri was also great and fresh- not fishy.
