Everyone raved about the food and drinks. We loved working with a family business. There's nothing like working with people who want the best for you. We were treated like family and loved sharing our lives and getting to know the family. The team is flexible, communicative, professional, and talented!! Adriana's Cocina was by far our fave wedding vendor. They thought of every detail, communicated a proactively and consistently, and went way above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Adriana guided me every step of the way with what food would be best in the summer weather, what drinks and dishes would be crowd pleasers, and made lots of modifications for our guests' MANY MANY dietary restrictions. She gave me wedding wisdom beyond the food and drink as well, and I loved every phone call and meeting we had. When the wedding day came, I had no worries about the catering or bar. I knew the team had it handled, and they did. Catering is one of the most critical parts of the day. It's important to have folks who are reliable, professional, work well with anyone, and are unflappable like Adriana Cocina. 100% recommend!!! Miss them all already.

Incredible Experience -- Above and Beyond! Gwen Marlo…read morecatering was an absolute lifesaver for our wellness retreat. I hired Annamarie and Messe last minute after our original chef backed out just two weeks before the event. From the very first call, they were responsive, kind, and completely accommodating to our shifting needs--whether it was allergies, dietary preferences, or an ever-growing headcount. Annamarie is an absolute sweetheart, and her warmth was felt not just in her presence, but in the food she prepared. Her husband was equally lovely, and together they brought such a beautiful, heart-centered energy to the weekend. The food was fantastic--nourishing, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the retreat was raving about it! We were aiming for healthy meals that still felt indulgent and flavorful, and they delivered that in spades. I can't wait to work with them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

We hired Gwen Marlowe Food and Catering for our wedding day, and overall, they did a fantastic job…read more The food tasted amazing, and everything went smoothly thanks to their efforts. Here's our detailed review based on their food quality, presentation, performance, and customer service. Food: The food was very good and tasty. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying to me but others trying the food had their likes and dislikes. This was a refreshing surprise since wedding food can sometimes fall flat. With Gwen Marlowe's cooking, you're likely to get dishes that stand out in taste. Presentation: The buffet-style setup was beautifully arranged, with each dish served by the vendor team to ensure an elegant presentation. Most dishes looked fantastic, giving our guests a sense of a refined, well-presented meal. The salad presentation, though simpler, was still tasty and fresh, adding a nice touch to the spread. Performance: On our wedding day, the team was on top of everything, ensuring every guest was served promptly and helping set up the tables to look beautiful. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail, which helped make our reception feel special. It was also just nice having a caterer who was willing to provide the plates and silverware. Really good deal for that reason alone! Customer Service: While Anna, our contact with the company, was communicative and respectful, we slowly began to feel hesitant to ask for adjustments or additional tastings, as we sometimes got the impression our requests were becoming a burden. It just felt like the vibes were coming off as passive aggressive and we didn't understand why when we were willing to pay for more tastings. It's hard to understand why a food company would have difficulty wanting to serve sample tastings of their dishes especially when they were being paid for. For example, when requesting if we could try out their vegan curry option in addition to their lasagna vegetarian option, we made efforts to make things easier for this vendor by suggesting we could just pick up the food in a take out box without needing a nice sit down experience to save them time (we only did this because Anne emailed us saying we couldn't book another tasting due to there being no time for them to set up another sit down tasting). In response, we got what we wanted but Anne charged us $50 a plate when typically they went for $30 a plate with a sit down experience. So just to get a chance to taste their veggie options we paid them $100 for 2 dishes. We know it takes time to get the ingredients to make these dishes but this shouldn't be an issue for a company that specializes in food. Customers will of course want to try out the different options so make that easier for them. A food company should not make their customers feel like they can't ask to try out food that will be served to hundreds of people! We also felt she didn't handle feedback as openly as we had hoped, occasionally giving the sense that we were the only people they've served who had problems with a dish. Additionally, there were a few instances when my mother, whom we had authorized to communicate with the Anne, felt overlooked. However, on the wedding day, everything we had requested was delivered beautifully, and our guests were thrilled with the food. Overall, Gwen Marlowe Food and Catering delivered a wonderful dining experience on our big day, with delicious food, thoughtful presentation, and a seamless performance. We just hope anyone booking them has a better experience with customer service as we unfortunately felt like a bother to this company. Thank you Gwen Marlowe for making our big day so special though

The food was abundant, delicious, and beautifully presented. The variety of choices was exceptional, and the made-to-order omelets were truly a highlight of the event. The wide selection of fresh ingredients allowed everyone to customize their omelet exactly to their liking. One especially thoughtful touch that impressed everyone was that, after placing an omelet order, the hot dish was personally delivered to guests wherever they were seated. Trevor and Ethan arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. for my 11:00 a.m. party and immediately began preparing everything from scratch. They carefully cleaned and plated fresh fruit, arranged an assortment of breads, and created a stunning brunch display. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and organization made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. At the end of the event, they left my kitchen spotless. His pricing was fair, and he was super prompt and flexible. Our comms were a bit hit or miss as we dialed in details a couple months before the event - but once we got to within a week or so, and certainly as we were going through the event, his comms were on point. He provided a bartender on our first night, and that was probably the only place there was room for improvement, as the bartender wasn't very personable, and left without saying goodbye or cleaning up after himself. We'd definitely use Matty again next time we're out in the desert!

The hours are limited as it's only open for breakfast and lunch and closes at 4. We spent the day up in Idyllwild and first and foremost, food. Parking situation, I believe they have a parking lot but majority is street parking or lots in town. We arrived just after 12pm which the place was pretty busy. As it was our first time we didn't know the layout of the place. The patio was where the action was happening. Covered umbrellas to help with the heat which was nice. Inside is quite small with some tables but main dining area was on the patio. I didn't know the go about of this place but noticed a register. Waited a bit though the place was packed. I was trying to get someone's attention on getting a table as there was no hosts counter. Finally someone mentioned that you seat yourself and when you're ready to order, come back inside to place your order. They do offer alcohol with mimosas, Bloody Marys and I believe there's a full bar. It took a while to order as the line was quite long and there was only one register where you order. After your order, they ask your name for when your meal is brought out. While I was waiting, I did see loads of amazing dishes being brought out and the server calling out names so they know who it's for. It's didn't take long for our order to come out. Oh, juice was given to you after you order which their OJ was delicious. Has to be fresh squeezed for 9.00. Meals, we went with the country chicken fried steak with homemade country gravy, 2 eggs any style and a side item. And the ham steak meal with 3 eggs any style, a side and choice of bread. Both item we upgrade to onion rings for an additional fee. Plus a side of sausage for the fur baby. Food was quite nice and delicious. The portion was quite big which I like. I think they're known for the breakfast burritos as it was a favorite for loads of people and let me tell you, that thing was massive. Glad we found out about this place which is a favorite for us now for breakfast and lunch. Also, the patio is quite nice and big. There's a table at the entrance where you can help yourself to ice water, napkins, to go containers and some condiments. Tables do have a tray of condiments as well. Pros 1. The food is great. Portion is big and plenty for takeaway. 2. Juices and smoothies are fresh squeezed 3. They offer alcohol 4. Pet friendly 5. Friendly staff Cons 1. There's one register to order your food
