Just paid $350 + tip for a curly cut and highlights. I asked for honey color on my dark hair, but the results weren't what I wanted. My stylist, Laiza, was a 10/10 and tried to get the manager to let me come back for a free re-touch. The manager said no, it would be a new service. I was looking for a salon to call home - and I know building a relationship with a salon/stylist takes time before the service styles are well known and become routine - I can't take the chance here. 9.19.25 - Manager's comment although nice, does not address the fact that this was not discussed up front, considering I sent photos to Laiza BEFORE showing up, she had my IG page as well to see me currently and what I wanted - also, a free touch up does not have to be the next day, but charging for a whole new service is also not an answer to the issue. I don't think this was handled well and it could be because I'm a new client and the relationship is not there. I understand - either way, I am not going back. read more

I'm a natural redhead, and Oscar helped me match my color exactly-- something I was told couldn't be done. Due to moving and other life events, I didn't come back for a while. When I came back, I was welcomed like family. Here's the cringe part. I saw Camila, and she did an amazing job on my hair. But, I went home, and I looked in a magnifying mirror, and I started getting worried that I still wasn't covering color loss. I went back in-- booking was no problem-- and I explained. I am extremely dissatisfied with stylist Whitnee, to say the least. While I have been a loyal client of the salon for three to four visits prior to this appointment and consistently received satisfactory services, this experience fell short. Due to an error on my part with the appointment date, I arrived a day early and was unable to be serviced by Kathy, my preferred stylist, as she was fully booked. Consequently, I was assigned to Whitnee, despite having no prior experience cutting my hair, which I had some reservations about. Regrettably, I chose to proceed with the appointment despite my reservations. Following our discussion about the trim I required, Whitnee proceeded to cut and shave the back of my hair without verifying the length or style with me, resulting in an undesirable outcome that I could not rectify. I left the salon extremely dissatisfied with my haircut, which differed significantly from what I had requested. Although the salon management apologized and offered to correct the issue once my hair grows out, I find this solution inadequate. Ultimately, this experience highlights that even esteemed establishments can have stylists who do not meet expectations. read more

The Studio O has an AMAZING online booking system and I was able to easily schedule my services with Gabby. When scheduling services a credit card is required for a deposit and the booking system makes clear what the cancellation policy is so that there are NO misunderstandings. The salon is located in the beautiful little seaside community of Naples ... that said, parking can sometimes be tricky. The salon itself is so cute with it's beautiful accent wall and coordinating furnishings. The salon offers the most luxurious shampoo stations that recline and elevate the body into a laying position all while fully supporting the head. I've been to the salon several times now and have seen the various stylists at work and they are all fantastic! My stylist Gabby, is not only attentive and kind but she is so skilled in coloring and styling hair. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is because the banter in the salon can be a bit much at times. On my last visit I was having my color rinsed out and my stylist was massaging my scalp but it was difficult to enjoy that moment with the stylist in the next shampoo station yelling back and forth to another stylist across the salon floor. Wow! So stoked with this salon and my new stylist, Nicole. I recently moved to Long Beach and needed a stylist to correctly & safely bleach my dark hair (roots) to platinum and not leave it yellow. To get the platinum or white color, dark hair needs to be bleached to no color then toned to platinum (ashy) or white or champagne, etc. Had my hair 1st done platinum in Hawaii 5 years ago, and my hair was in such great shape even though it was bleached. Fast forward to moving here, my hair was yellow, dry, damaged, and did I mention YELLOW? and the stylist sped through the bleach process...35-40 mins, with the entire appointment under 2 hrs total, from bleach to out the door. In Hawaii, I 'cooked' for 2-3 hrs, lifting slowly....but my hair was white, & always so soft and little breakage, even after 6 weeks! Not so with my 1st stylist here in LB. I knew my hair couldn't take another incorrect bleaching. After 2-3 consults...most being way off base with their assessment, I found Studio O. Nicole was my consulting stylist. She was so incredibly nice, understanding, listened to my needs, and super professional and knowledgeable on what to do with my hair. FINALLY! Someone who put hair health ahead of $$ and speed. I booked with her with 1000% confidence. I was NOT disappointed!!! I was so excited to have a stylist who knew what to do with my hair, knew how to take care of it during the bleaching process, and took her time. She didn't try to get me out in 1.5 hrs. She even cut my hair afterwards. When it was all said and done, probably about 3.5 hrs which is about what I've had in the past. My hair lifted correctly...it was the white color it should be when it develops correctly. After the toner, I am so in love with my hair color! Nicole brought it back to life from the yellowish, crispy, fried head of hair I walked in with. I am ecstatic with her expertise, as well as her caring nature toto take care of my hair! Oscar, the owner, came to consult and follow along during the entire process. He is fabulous as well! I am so happy to have finally found MY stylist, out of 4-5 stylists I've met or been to over the past few months. Nicole is awesome! When you are doing a full platinum bleach and tone on dark hair, you really need a stylist who knows their sh*t so you walk out of the salon with a full head of healthy hair, and proud to rock it! She is IT! I love her and am so thankful to have found her! I also have extensions, poorly installed by the previous stylist who damaged my hair. She installed them (IBE method) lopsided then had to add 2 tape-ins because she left a huge gap on the right side of my head. She cut the extensions lopsided as well Nicole fixed the cut to blend my own hair with the extensions and evened out the cut to a blunt cut. It is soooo cute! Can't wait to have show off my new do. Looking forward to fun with changing up toning colors in the months to come and to eventually grow out all my hair. My hair was black w/a little white and colored at home red. I have a sensitivity to ammonia that I just got during quarantine so Nicole suggested balayage so my scalp won't get an allergic reaction.
