She was the first hairstylist that I went to back in Hollywood, and I have followed her everywhere since then. I was flying from LA to New York once a month to get a haircut from my old stylist until I found her. The stylists here are talented, the salon is clean, and the overall vibe is great. I've always had a positive experience once I'm in the chair. The only challenge has been reaching the front desk - calling is the only way to book an appt, and I've had a hard time getting through or receiving a callback for over 3 days. No matter how strong the service is, if current and future clients can't easily book an appointment, they will eventually take their business elsewhere. I had such a wonderful experience at Flaunt!!! I arrived a tiny bit early, was welcome by Troy, the shop (very stylish and adorable) doggie. I approached the counter to let the receptionist know about my appointment. She offered me a drink (coffee, water, beer, or mimosa and I couldn't resist a mimosa on a Saturday morning lol). The place is soooo beautiful decorated, it wasn't loud (specially for a salon). The carry very upscale products. Blaine was my hairdresser, he was running a tiny bit over late (no big deal for me) and he came to introduce himself and let me know (highly appreciated). The vibe of the salon was so nice!!!! I was very relaxed (which is rare on a salon, I usually want to escape lol). Blaine was beyond fantastic!!! He asked me what I wanted, so I told him I wanted 2 inches from the bottom off, pretty much keep it long but get like a modern Brigitte Bardot cut. He asked where I wanted to start the layers and I asked him what he recommended, he said around the cheekbones and I agreed. I let him know about my thousand floral allergies lol, so we double check the shampoos to make sure they were right. His energy through the whole appointment was so fantastic, I was very relaxed and I actually TRULY enjoyed the experience. I don't think I have been this relax on a salon in a very long time.
