Hello a few months ago I went to this salon in hopes they would service a cut , blow dry and style . The person who did my hair did was not too interested in cutting hair since she kept talking about her career change . As a person who has lot of hair volume I want a hair cut that feels a bit more light weight during the summer . I didn't receive the service I was expecting . The owner saw my previous yelp review and she said she would fix the hair cut . She also told me to delete the yelp review and I did . Thankfully I saved it . I texted her a couple of times and she never followed up . I would never come back to get this service here . Especially from someone who says she will do something to satisfy their customers . Save yourself some time and go somewhere else . Here are the pics and yelp review from the previous , who is looking bad here . read more

AGAIN...STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! The owner passes off synthetic hair as real hair! When I went back to have the owner fix the mess she did in my head, she NOT only would NOT fix it, but ALSO ran out the salon and called the cops! She NEVER came back and left me in the salon sitting there with the mess you see in the pictures attached! I LITERALLY had to pull EVERY SINGLE strand out by hand! This shows HUGE LACK of PROFESSIONALISM and maturity! The statements by the owner are COMPLETELY false and she's just trying to cover her ass because of how HORRIBLE her salon is...DON'T waste your time or money at this place! read more

Cindy is absolutely amazing! She did my hair last week and then my daughter's this week, and both turned out fabulous. She's not only talented but also warm, funny, and genuinely cares about making you feel comfortable and confident. I originally found Salon 500 while searching online -- I had recently lost my hairstylist of 28 years and was honestly nervous about trusting someone new. But I kept seeing Salon 500 pop up, so I booked an appointment, and I'm so glad I did. Cindy went above and beyond from the start. She's extremely experienced, takes her time, and makes sure you leave feeling and looking amazing. The highlights she did on both me and my daughter were perfect -- natural, blended, and full of life. If you're looking for a long-term stylist who truly listens, has incredible skill, and makes the whole experience fun, Cindy is the one! I'm so happy I found her and will definitely be back. read more

Unfortunately, this response is misleading. Instead of acknowledging valid concerns, the owner minimized my experience and avoided responsibility. This interaction was more disappointing than the service itself and shows a lack of professionalism when dealing with unhappy clients. "At Salon500 we do strive to give an excellent haircut and excellent customer service. I was also there for the initial consultation We were fixing a bad haircut. You had gotten somewhere else. We did the best we could to fix the haircut that was already done by somebody else. We spent a lengthy time in the initial consultation, To try and help you out with a bad haircut you had initially gotten somewhere else. We wanted to want to help you I am sorry that we we're not able to." read more

Bree at Salon 500 is amazing. Her skin fades are always clean and consistent and she does a fantastic job with my beard too. She works around my unpredictable schedule, handles last minute changes, and is great with my sensitive skin and all my extra requirements. She is lively, easy to talk to, and makes the whole visit comfortable. Only small suggestion is to have an aftershave available at the end. Overall she is awesome and I highly recommend her, especially for mens cuts! Absolute 100/100 read more

II had such an incredible experience with Valeska at Salon 500! She installed my I-tip extensions, and from start to finish, everything felt professional, efficient, and thoughtful. I could instantly tell she takes her time to make sure every strand is perfectly placed -- nothing felt rushed or sloppy. The final result honestly blew me away. My hair looks thick, bouncy, and full of life, which is such a transformation from my naturally thin, fragile hair. The way she cut and layered it blended everything beautifully -- it looks completely natural. On top of that, she was so gentle on my scalp and worked incredibly fast without ever sacrificing quality. I left the salon feeling confident, gorgeous, and so grateful to have found her. If you're thinking about extensions, go see Valeska at Salon 500 -- she's truly gifted at what she does! read more

I can't say enough good things about Bree . From the moment you sit in the chair, you feel taken care of. They listen carefully to what you want, offer helpful suggestions, and make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire cut. Every time, I walk out with a clean, sharp haircut that gets compliments. On top of the quality work, the conversation is always easy and enjoyable it feels like catching up with a friend. It's rare to find someone who is both talented and genuinely invested in their clients, but this barber is exactly that. Highly recommended. read more

My daughter was all smiles when she saw her hair!! Thank you for creating a wonderful experience and exceeding our expectations. Cindy is her go to now . I have been coming here exclusively since I moved to California last year. My hair looks amazing with these extensions! Valeska was able to see me on short notice and provide exactly what I wanted.

I love this place, I drive from LA to get my haircut with Bree every two weeks. I trust her with my hair and the way she leaves it, it's a chefs kiss. I don't see myself going with anyone else. The salon is has a peace of mind once you enter you feel at ease. The shampoo and heads scrub is definitely relaxing. The way Bree uses hair product and styles my hair is the cherry on top. I recommend this place, and Bree is one of the best ones there. 10/10. read more

Worst Salon Experience I've ever had. Made an appointment with Valeska, and someone named Bree ended up helping me. I asked where was the original person I booked with and I got "she's busy". I asked for a root touch up, and got a color several shades darker than the rest of my hair. I said no to a trim and she said I needed one, then cut several inches off of my hair. When she was blow drying my hair she was damn near burning my scalp off I had to stop her. To top it all off, when I was walking out I see a huge blob of hair dye on my arm which I still have not been able to get off. Whatever you do do not go here or book here, worst experience ever read more

Hair extension service is fire! Valeska knows what she is doing and takes a lot of pride in her work!

The good news is that I was able to make a same day appt the bad news is the salon is not very professional. I was booked w Valeska for 12:30 pm wash and blowout...arrived at 12:35 pm...she didn't acknowledge or even say hi. At 12:58 I asked if I would be seen soon as I had a tight schedule and was waiting for awhile. The staff speak Spanish and talk about you because they assume because I'm not hispanic I don't speak Spanish. The parking is tough as it's street meter and a lot of the spots are 24 mins. The original stylist never once apologized for running late or even acknowledging me. She just kept on working on her original client seems like they're doing graduation . Another stylist who was sweeping and nice as asked me if I needed anything ended up washing my hair and blow drying it after I mentioned twice I was tight on time. Would not recommend as it doesn't seem like they care about whether or not they have clients. If they couldn't make the time they should have said something and I could have booked elsewhere I did finally get a blowout but felt like I had to keep on asking for something I am still paying for otherwise I would have just sat there forever Then the original stylist finished w her client so I had to wait with hair half blown out at 1:14 pm. The blowout was great once she got to me. She did apologize for being late too which was appreciated read more

There's always a bit of hesitantion when finding a new stylist. I made an appointment to get my haircut by Elizabeth with the salon owner, Valeska, who was very helpful. Right off the bat, Elizabeth was genuinely invested in hearing what style I wanted and went over it several times to ensure she gave me the best cut/style. Elizabeth has great communication, wonderful energy, and truly loves her craft. I definitely enjoyed our interaction and how she texturized my hair to give it more volume! I would absolutely suggest choosing her. read more

This is my first time ever getting my hair professionally done. I'm usually a diy kinda gal but wanted a little pampering since I'm a busy work from home mom of 2 under 2 and felt like I needed a little me time and get something done where I can feel a boost in my confidence without a lot of effort. When I arrived my stylist was running slightly behind but I was greeted by Valeska who was great and offered me a beverage while I waited for Enrique. Once he arrived he apologized for the delay and went straight to work but immediately I felt in good hands because his personality is so welcoming and he's there to take care of his clients. He was very professional and personable and explained everything he was doing and let me know the products that he worked with to preserve the health of my hair. We did a balayage and trim and I freaking love it! This is definitely what I needed to get a little bit of me back. Thank you, Enrique! Will be coming back here for sure! read more
