Wow I truly believe this experience was a 5/5, absolutely perfect. Let's start with the ambiance. On a cold rainy winter day, we scrambled inside and were immediately greeted by the waiter who took our coats and showed us to our table. Our table was black marble with a plaid loveseat on one side and a cozy green leather chair on the other. On one side we looked out to the cold rainy street and to our other side was a crackling fire. The decor consists of plaids, greens, wooden accents with looming oil paintings that makes you feel like you found a hidden gem in the English countryside. Our waiters were attentive, informative and gave us space during our dinner which we appreciated. The food was actually on another level. We had the lobster which was fresh, sweet, buttery and was so flavorful by itself that it didn't need the sauce accompaniment. One of the highlights of the meal was the short rib grilled cheese which was divine. We ended the meal with the chocolate mousse and strawberry ice cream. All in all it was a perfect valentines day dinner and we will definitely be back!

Food delish. My hangar steak was cooked perfectly. Hubby's sloppy but juicy burger was delish. My old fashion was good perhaps a tad too sweet but still good.

Let's begin with the fact that this restaurant is either super busy at times, and also has…read morepractically no business most of the time. Our service was at best hit or miss. Our meals were average at best and were mostly boring examples of the same old pub type menu. My advice if you're looking for a place close to the Eastern Shore . Ambience was 3 stars , service 3 stars and food at two stars. Perhaps if there were a manager on duty they might have gotten a better review. As always another visit hopefully would see improvement.

I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and the food changes are incredibly disappointing…read more I used to rave about most everything on the menu. They used to have good portions and really good juicy burgers, and their fries were good too. The fries changing led to the burgers changing, and then the rest of the menu followed. I'd come here a lot when it was worth it. Now the food is usually overcooked or just charred completely. The fries are hand cut now but have become someone else's acquired taste because to me they're just greasy and usually overfried. The portions have gotten smaller and smaller, and the salads have gotten outrageous. It's barely a side salad amount for $15, just spread out in a large flat-bottomed bowl. While the owner's/ manager's clearly either put your kitchen staff under duress, and they no longer like cooking, or you've fired the ones who cared about the food being great. I'm also thinking they changed supplier or got cheaper with their ordering because the ingredients have also suffered in quality greatly. The drinks are very pricey no matter what you get. Also, the receipt lists the gratuity percentage incorrectly, which just seems kind of mean and nasty, so shame on the owners for that one. I will always tip my server well... Don't lie to me to pay your workers...you should pay them more. Either way, you're trying to trick me into tipping more so you don't have to pay your waitstaff because they didn't make enough money which is pretty foul. I wish people were better.

Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced... this is the kind of drink that reminds me why I started my little espresso martini passport in the first place. It was giving luxury, it was giving intention, it was giving I need another one immediately. For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then I had the scallops, and this is where they really won me over. Perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth... just one of those dishes you don't want to end. The whole experience felt elevated without being stuffy -- gorgeous waterfront vibes, amazing service, and food and drinks that actually deliver. Definitely one of my favorite spots so far in Baltimore, and 100% somewhere I'll be bringing people when I want to impress.

The whiskey selection is impressive--this was actually my first time trying Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year, and it was incredibly smooth. If you're a whiskey drinker, you'll appreciate how extensive the selection is here. The bar menu is also surprisingly strong. I highly recommend the burger, and the crab cake is made with real lump meat--not imitation!!! The bartender was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations throughout the night. Weekends can get pretty busy, but it's still a great spot for drinks and small bites.

The service from the bartenders was not so great or welcoming. When I asked about the espresso martini and asked for it without lavender, the bartender made way too big of a deal. The espresso martini is pre-made. I opted for a vodka soda and it was pretty hard to drink. The menu feels limited. They do not have pineapple, Red Bull, or many other popular mixes. Positively, prices are very good, especially compared to the other bars in the area. I would like to go back and try the food because it smelled amazing and hopefully find something better to drink on the menu that I like!

There's a back area, sort of like a dinning room, with little booths for those wishing for some privacy. The red lights gives the bar that good old 1920s (prohibition) feel. I felt at any moment the authorities would swing through the door forcing us to hide our drinks. **Wild thoughts** Kyle made a cocktail he's "been working on" and he needs to put that shxt on the menu asap! So delicious. It was late night and I stayed here about an hour (closed the spot ha) and I was able to enjoy a mini impromptu concert by another patron Ebony, as Kyle was sweet enough to play some of her music. All in all, a perfect end to my evening. High recommendation for Rye. The End.
