This is a very cool speakeasy place near the outlets. The interior is very cozy and the bar looks nice. They have the outside dressed up with a vintage car. It is behind the Iron Hill Brewery (which recently closed), so that is the building in front you see from the highway. The Local has a varied menu with smash burgers, gourmet hot dogs, starters, and libations.

If you want a really cool prohibition style restaurant/ bar this is a must stop when visiting Rehoboth., Great drinks, friendly staff and new summer menu. You will be happy you did.

Oh my goodness! This place was super cute and all decked out for Christmas. The bartender, James, was incredible! He had great recommendations and was enthusiastic about his job. The drinks were amazing! I would visit again for the vibes.

My daughter and I decided to try this place for a late lunch. The poutine was amazing (a meal in itself) and the smash burgers were delicious. The atmosphere was unique and the decor was spot on -- felt like you were stepping back in time. Highly recommend!

Loved the ambiance of this local speakeasy. The decor and music bring you back to the 1920s era. The wait staff and food were delicious. We ordered the baby blue burger and the whisper and they were fresh, juicy and mouth watering delicious. Would highly recommend when you're in town.

I want to thank the entire staff at 302 for their excellent service and hospitality. My family (a group of 12) had a 3:30 reservation, and while we were probably a bit challenging, Erica and the team were incredibly patient and accommodating. We truly appreciated their efforts to keep my extended family happy throughout our meal.I'll admit 302 was not my choice for food, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy to have gone. The atmosphere was relaxed with a modern coastal vibe, offering cozy seating and a lively bar area. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks. I started with the smoked Old Fashioned from happy hour, which was a great choice. In the chaos of getting settled I didn't look at the menu, but Erica recommended the McCoy Burger, and it did not disappoint--it was delicious! We shared the happy hour nachos as well. While not the nachos I expected, it was still a good size to share, and they were tasty. There were a few small hiccups with the order, which is understandable with a large group, but the staff went out of their way to make things right. Overall, I'd highly recommend visiting 302 The Local. My wife and I are looking forward to returning for a more peaceful experience without the large group. Thanks again to everyone at 302 for the great food and making our visit so enjoyable!

A true 'Speak Easy' feel with awesome staff, craft cocktails, and a perfect chill environment! Our bartender James, rockin' a fedora, was super knowledgeable and made the experience even better!

The seafood blends into everything and is the star but do not discount the details and sauces of each item to make it truly unique. There's zings and pows and delightfulness in addition to the huge pieces of scallop and salmon cake. The sense of richness is brought to every plate you don't want to stop eating. Do not sleep on their cocktail offerings! Strong drinks with strong mixed flavors- I got the silly blue drink with the blinking light inside and it was hilariously fun but also VERY tasty, tangy, and wonderful to drink alongside the food. I don't know how they manage to keep a cozy sense of special romance along with fun camaraderie but it's something unique to take notice and highly recommend to enjoy!

Thereafter, the food on the "Asian Fusion" menu sounds great, but leaves much to be desired. More confusion, than fusion. Dumpling Special is a cool notion (why not save a few bucks?). But, when it arrives without ginseng slivers, nor a spoon for dripping the dark vinegar into the removed top knot to mix with the beef soup within the Xiao Long Bau, it becomes apparent skill is lacking in the kitchen. It doesn't help that these dough pouches are commercially bought and not made by knowing hands. The Singapore Black Pepper Crab bowl was sure Szechuan spicy enough, but had so little crab that my crustacean loving wife turned on her phone flashlight to find some. They were ground so small that they were nearly invisible, but could be slightly tasted by their mild sweetness. Just not enough substance to balance the other ingredients. My Cumin Lamb Ho Fun was likewise deep into the heat and looked good with the fat noodles mixed throughout. However, once again the kitchen's lack of deftness appeared with too many tough, stringy and fatty pieces of lamb that were unpleasant and overbore the generally decent quality of the rest of the dish. From my experience, that only happens when attention isn't paid to the texture of the meat when slicing. Cutting lamb against the grain is a no-no. So, even though I enjoyed the Moon Door entrance, the Bodhi (Enlightenment) name and all the on point Asian decor, it was disappointing that all that spirituality stopped at the kitchen door. 2.5 Shakyamuni-less Stars.

Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva" (Steely Dan) Bodhi Kitchen is an absolutely beautiful Asian restaurant in downtown Rehoboth Beach where you'll find their menu dotted with delicacies from Thailand, Korea, China, Vietnam and Japan. When you walk in, the bar is right in front of you, and the two-level dining room is to your right. We sat in the upper level and the thing that struck me immediately was how pretty the room was. There were two kinds of hanging lantern-style lights, and some of them had flickering gold bulbs that resembled candlelight. It was a beautiful effect. The menu is a real tour-de-force with dishes like Peking Duck Tacos, Shaoxing Braised Duck Laab, Pork Belly Steam Bun, Braised Cumin Lamb Ho Fun, and Singapore Black Pepper Crab. In addition to all that, they have nightly specials like a "Curry Night", "Asian Street Food Night", or "Dim Sum Night" among others. We happened to visit on Dim Sum Night, so that's where we went on the menu. We ordered two of their Dim Sum specials - six Pork Soup Dumplings ($13) with ground pork, ginger, scallion, rice wine and pork broth, and a Dumpling Sampler ($17) with two each of Pork Belly and Kim Chi dumplings, Shiitake and Chinese Sausage Dumplings, and Szechuan Chicken Dumplings. I had the sampler and thought it was very good. The three varieties all delivered plenty of flavor, and the pork belly and Szechuan chicken dumplings also came through with their advertised heat from peppercorns, five spice and chili oil. Our server Paula was friendly and professional. All in all, Bodhi scored high in ambience, food, and service.

When we got there, several people were waiting for tables but we were able to walk on by since we had the res. When we sat down we learned it was restaurant week! At first we thought it would be too much food - but the menu sounded too good so our arms were twisted haha. I got the lobster toast - this was my fave thing I ate at the Blue Hen. My bf got the carpaccio (also delish). For our main course I got the branzino. It was topped w fennel and carrot and it tasted so good w the fish. My bf got the fried chicken and he enjoyed it. We both loved our desserts. I got the strawberry - yum!! And he got the blueberry bread pudding. I had several tastes of his and I wasn't sure which dessert I liked more. Def need to come back!! I can't remember which drinks we had but I do remember that we liked them. I had only been to the Blue Hen for happy hour previously but now I know I need to be back soon!

After many a weekend spent and many a restaurant tried we welcomed new eats at The Blue Hen. This menu is intriguing- small, tight but inventive- we were so excited to eat here! Was wonderful in having a table ready when we arrived for at-will, no reserve seating at about 7pm. Quiet corner. Promptly greeted by our server. She was gracious, so nice, and helpful our whole dining time. We ordered readily, in Mom's overwhelming hunger, lolol. Ordered the Lobster Toast and the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho, as starters. Amazingly accommodating on our order of this gorgeous gazpacho. We were given 2 bowls to split this tomato beauty. A few spoons of smooth & sweet, acidic, flavorful, gripping. Could have ordered more! The Lobster Toast- Accompanied by a concoction of radish, sesame, bitter-sweet....stunning bites in this salad. Unfamiliar but pronounced in the combination. Well done. The lobster- Absent. Wished for an open faced variety. Or at least a dish that advocates for lobster. Charge more. Bigger brioche. Pronounce those beautiful lobster bites in presentation. The lobster as served, was not the star. Ok, a moment for cocktails though- Whoa. Killer kill. The Church Girl Martini. Blessed be in evil, haha This Girl was too tasty in being that strong. So good in flavor, unbeknownst combos. A definite Watch Yourself and watch out for!! Entrees.....well when ordering was told the Sea Bream was out- disappointed on that. The entree menu is small, so should keep available. And when we entered the restaurant it was busier after we sat....so why out of a primary fish already?? So decided ahead- Mom had the Burger and I had the Crab Cake Sandwich. The burger- smashed, but still big patties. A perfect medium. Good overall. The bacon jam was an ask on the side. The bacons were really spicy lardons and were delicious. My crab cake sandwich. Hmmm. You are a sandwich. For the pricing, it's not there. Ate the Lumps, but the rest of the sandwich should I say was in the Dumps? Nothing to be said of standout. Would recommend putting this crab cake as a stand alone entree with accompaniment. Forget the bun. Overall food gets a 3.75. Drinks, environment and service a 4. The Blue Hen is not Spent. But also is not the Top Chicken.
