Delicious crab cakes. Wait staff was wonderful also. Came for Karaoke on Saturday night.

Alright first 3* in a while folks so settle on in, grab your coffees and think before you dine. Truthfully you know its going to be a fun time when the only thing that was hot this whole time was my coffee, and the blood in my veins from how aggravating this whole dining experience was. So the pros, the server is friendly and the atmosphere is pretty nice. The salad was good per my wife and mother-in-law. The coffee was fresh but it took a minute to get, not a big deal. The Bolognese was good as well, flavorful and plesant. Also they're quite generous with the pour on their wine so get drunk if you get the right wine. Now... the issues, let's start with the cold soup. I ordered mushroom bisque, apparently that was a mistake it came out cold, under seasoned, and hardly edible. Added about 2TSP of pepper to make it palatable. The music, whoever was playing it was nailing it but its way too loud, you're shouting to your party to have a basic conversation. Now moving in to my dinner, I must say I was generally disappointed again, spaghetti and meatballs with refills on the meatballs sounds great until you realize the meatballs are about 1/2 the size of a meatball I'd make at home. Its more like a Swedish meatball if you will. I'm underwhelmed, generally speaking as were the majority of my dinner guests. My wife says her ribs lacked sauce, they had plenty of meat but flavor-wise left her wanting. The fries were unsalted, and just underwhelming as well. A side note, I beg you separate the dining area from the bar with an actual wall. I love karaoke but not with my dinner... Remember, think before you dine... if you've got no other options sure this works but theres much better locations in Rehoboth Beach. read more

We have lived in Rehoboth Beach for fifteen years and have dined at many of the area's best restaurants. Recently, friends suggested that we try Rigby's for a Sunday evening dinner following happy hour at another local venue. Unfortunately, it was a terrible mistake. While the food was generally acceptable--the quesadillas, stuffed meatloaf, and pizza were all decent, though hardly memorable--and the service itself was adequate, the overall dining experience was simply awful. The problem is that Rigby's seems unsure of what it wants to be. It appears to be trying simultaneously to function as a lively bar, entertainment venue, karaoke spot, and restaurant. In the process, it succeeds at none of them. The biggest issue was the noise level. The music was so loud that conversation at our own table was nearly impossible. Dining out is supposed to be a social experience, yet we found ourselves unable to hear one another. When we asked our server whether anything could be done about the volume, he politely explained that he had no control over it. Again, the food was acceptable and the service was fine. However, neither could overcome an environment that made the evening thoroughly unenjoyable. A restaurant can serve decent food, but if guests leave frustrated and unable to enjoy their company, it has failed at the most basic level of hospitality. We will not be returning, and we cannot recommend Rigby's to friends seeking an enjoyable dining experience. Until management decides whether the establishment is a restaurant, a bar, or an entertainment venue--and designs the customer experience accordingly--we suggest diners look elsewhere. For us, it was a miserable evening and one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have had in Rehoboth Beach. read more

They wouldn't honor my reservation! My partner and I are (were) regulars there. I made a reservation as I always do and received 2 email confirmations. When we arrived, there was only one hightop table available (we're mobility challenged and have difficulty with low chairs and always reserve hightop), so we took the table. We were told by two different servers that we couldn't sit there because it was being held for someone else. I asked about my reservation and they said I didn't have one (!) Another couple heard the commotion and offered their table, but that's not right. After that humiliation, we decided to go elsewhere. It's a shame - I was taking my buddy to where HE chose because he's having major surgery in a few days. While driving home, I received the reservation cancellation email - I assume they canceled quickly to cover up the fact that we had one. They didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the misunderstanding. read more

Always a great brunch with a free cocktail. Great service at the bar with Terri and front house service with Valentina. Food is always great with Robbie at the helm and both Johns assisting. Always decorated for the season. A must stop after a great Sunday morning church service. read more

You would never know it by the exterior, just looks like another beach town bar and grill. I only wish I had discovered it, only five minutes from our rental, before the last night of our week in Rehoboth. Absolutely terrific sesame encrusted tuna on seaweed. As good as I've ever had, and for $20? Seriously? I had a side of fried boiled red potatoes, also really great. Great service, friendly and fast. Casual and comfortable. Update: Am reviewing again based on my recent dining experience. Food: It's acceptable in quality but if you're expecting anything more, you might be disappointed. The bun for my burger was cold, not room temperature. It clearly came directly from a refrigerator and wasn't heated up. I ordered my burger medium-well. It arrived medium-rare, at best. Fries were hot and perfect. I would have sent back the burger, but they were busy and I didn't want to wait longer than we already had. Service: Friendly as usual. Busy, as noted above. There should have been another staffer working the bar and/or dining room. We weren't in a big rush, but the delays were noticeable. Going back for drinks is fine but I won't likely spend any more money on food. read more

EVERYTHING at Rigby's is AMAZING!!! The food was truly wonderful, I had the prime rib special (melt in your mouth good) with potatoes & asparagus. The server was really fun & took great care of the 3 of us. As it was my 80th birthday EVERYONE (even bar patrons) joined my daughter & her friend singing Happy Birthday to me. Not a place I would ever go back to. From the long wait time between my kids meal being delivered to my wife and l. Food was sub standard. Wife's chicken pom was way too thick and oversized. It definitely was not pounded out thin like a normal chicken Pom. My steak was the thickness that the chicken should have been. Food was bland and didn't have any care in its preparation. Literally watched the cook lean against the deep freeze for 20 mins while my wife and I waited for our food. I would never god back to this place again. read more

I give Rigby's a 4.3/5 stars The PERFECT divey bar on rehoboth ave. We came during happy hour (4-7pm) and got a round of drinks for cheap!!! I'm talking $4 a pop for well drinks - you can't beat that. On top of that the ambience is cool and casual. We sat on the beautiful cool patio and enjoyed the calm breeze. Indoors they have live music and a large bar area. Might be worth reserving a table ahead of time because it fills up quickly. The staff is approachable and willing to make whatever drink you are looking for just ask! Give this place a try if you are headed to rehoboth. Parking is free in the nearby neighborhoods after 5pm otherwise parking can be somewhat of a challenge on busy weekend nights. read more

There is great outdoor seating in the back. For brunch I had BREAKFAST PIZZA! It's practically impossible to find breakfast pizza anywhere. And it was so good. The dough was super thin, like a quesadilla but also crispy. Brunch entrées came with Bloody Mary or Bellini, both great! The French toast was creatively made with English raisin bread. Wednesdays they have burger night specials! Which will have to catch another time we're in town. read more

Our last night in Rehoboth we chose Rigby's based on the good reviews and we were pleasantly surprised. Ricky was the only employee on the floor and he was amazing. It would have been easy for him to be moody, but he was friendly and welcoming and did the bartending and waiting on tables alone. The owners need to double his salary! I took his recommendation on the flatbread and my husband devoured the onion rings. I really enjoyed the live music, even with the loudness of the crowd. I'm still amazed at how Ricky was able to complete both roles successfully. read more

So the continuation of our rainy glamping trip ended us up at Rigby's; a quaint little bar in Rehoboth Beach. It was dimly lit with different lighting effects because....it was karaoke!!! Now these guys didn't seem to care for us at first (we were a little tipsy) but they warmed up. Most of them took their singing very serious but a few guys had more fun. It wasn't very crowded for a Friday night but it was still fun. The only negative thing was that the kitchen was closed around 11. We could have used a little food. So next time your in Rehoboth, check out Rigby's and grab yourself and Uber home! read more

Whether it's drinks at the bar, a morning brunch, or dinner Rigby's is the place to go. The staff, and owners are incredibly friendly and attentive so the service shines. The food is always excellent. The brunch menu is filled with delicious options and how can you go wrong with a free mimosa or Bloody Mary which is my personal favorite. It's made with clam juice and it's excellent. The dinner menu is just as good so you can't go wrong. The crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes is such a different twist and supper yummy. My family visited this establishment on 8/13/21. Though it was Friday the 13th...this visit was no horror story! We made reservations via the open table app and our table was ready when we arrived. We were met by a lovely host and the atmosphere was loud but fun! The service was wonderful. Our server was funny, attentive and fun to talk to. Everyone's dinner was amazing. We were happy to find that Rigby's was open last night. It was too nasty to eat outdoors but we needn't have worried about eating inside. They've distanced all of the tables from each other, and have set up ceiling to floor curtains between tables. We felt very safe eating inside. Our meal was also wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We shared a Caesar salad and it was very well seasoned. I got chicken parmigiana which was succulent and crispy with what seemed like a fresh tomato sauce. My husband got a chicken cheese steak and it was really tasty with wonderful fresh cut fries. Both portions were huge! I'm craving that chicken parm again today. I think we'll have to go back before we leave town! read more

I'm usually never a "negative Nancy" or a "Karen" when it comes to reviews but, when I went here the food was horrible, the drinks were bad, and our server had the worse attitude. I understand we're In the middle of a pandemic and we're all trying to do the best we can but there was no drink menu, and compared to other places not a wide range of a regular dinner menu that I'd hope for. I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experience was here. We saw great reviews about the food, so my sister and I ventured out of Dewey to try somewhere we have never been. I'm so glad we did!! Our server, Ricky, was the most friendly, genuine, and attentive guy. I had the flat iron steak with the smashed deep fried red potatoes (incredible) and the greenbeans. I kid you not, they were out of this world and the best greenbeans I've ever had. My sister had the chicken parm and it was a huge portion and she said it was delicious. The food was mediocre at best for the price, however the service was absolutely terrible! Our waiter was extremely rude to us several times. There was only 1 other party in the whole restaurant but it still took him over 5 minutes to come over and greet us. We ordered sodas, they had no syrup in them. We asked if there was another soda we could have, he told us no. My boyfriend ordered soup as an appetizer and he said he "forgot to write it down" which is fine but did not offer to get it for him either.
