Fitting to the name, they pack you in like a bunch of sardines. Hehehe. This place is super small so you will be lucky to grab a seat or a stool. If you do, go get a lottery ticket! It's your day. They have roughly 6 tables with a bench and stools on one side and then roughly 12-16 seat bar. Very lovely decorated and great bar vibes. Little bit more of an elevated bar vibe for sure due to their delicious martini menu. Ordered lemon drop martinis, spicy Paloma, Carijillo. All were great. So good that a second round was ordered. They are well known for their espresso martinis (fresh espresso brewed for each one). They also have a full bar. Food - yep! Full package here. Munched on apps. Ordered the steak toast (get this), calamari, and crab deviled eggs. All were delicious. They even have some free goldfish to share while waiting or if only drinking. Prices aren't bad. Service is terrific. Shout out to Anthony! Holding down the entire place and also being very attentive. Greta place to swing in for some great craft cocktail options and delicious food. read more

Delicious food, friendly staff made for a very pleasant first night of vacay dinner. Got seated right away on a Thursday at 7ish (mid-June). Wait was much longer on Friday night (as expected). It is relatively small but service is quick! Had a burger at Starboard (across the street) the next night too, fries were better there but the burger at Starboard Raw was much much better! read more

Awesome spot for oysters & cocktails. Their espresso martini is incredible (rum instead of vodka!). I've visited on two separate occasions and both times had great servers with a good sense of humor. My friends and I came here on a Wednesday because they have happy hour all day. The restaurant is very small, it has a long bar that you can sit at and about 5-6 tables along the other side. We got there around 4/5pm and it was completely full. There were 6 of us and only 2 tables inside that could fit us comfortably and they were full so we chose to sit outside at two tables. The Delaware Bay oysters that were $1.50 for happy hour were bigger and meatier than I expected, it was only slightly briney. All in all, very pleased with them. The peel and eat shrimp came and I had a friend who almost turned the dish away because she thought that someone ordered a shrimp boil. It's served in a broth with potatoes and corn, and also cocktail sauce. Not what I expected at all and slightly over cooked, but fine. We got our drinks and food very quickly, but the service was a little off. When we were first ordering, I asked the waitress Kelly about how much comes in the peel and eat shrimp, knowing the menu says half a pound, the response was, "well, we weigh it." When I returned a look of slight disbelief, she then replied, "about 7-9 shrimp depending on size." My friend ordered a dozen assorted oysters and the staff came by with them, and immediately left without telling her what was what. When the final bill came, the waitress charged my friend another menu item's full price, not the peel and eat happy hour price. When we asked to about it, she was adamant that she was right, they were the same price anyways, until my friend pointed out our table's bill was correct and the waitress realized her mistake. I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it was just not the greatest experience. read more

Excellent food and beer. The crab deviled eggs were delicious! Likewise the seafood pasta was really good. Crabs and mussels are the big seafood draws around this area. Starboard Raw can get really packed but the vibe and food choices are far superior in our opinion to sister restaurant Starboard across the street. read more

We decided to eat our early dinner at the bar. Kelly was our bartender. We ordered Oysters, Steamed Garlic Butter Clams and the Fish Tacos. The food and service were both on point. I would've given a rating of 5 stars had the music and the TV blaring so loudly, coupled with patrons literally yelling at each other to be heard over the music. SB Raw is 3 blocks from my house but for some reason we always forget to come here. We finally went last night for happy hour and there were plenty of seats at the bar and plenty of tables available. We were told we could get the happy hour specials at both the tables or the bar. We were aware they had $1 oysters - but never got happy hour menus so I didn't realize until later that they also had other hh food deals. We ordered 2 dozen oysters. They came out pretty fast and they were delish. We also ordered buffalo brussel sprouts because a lot of other people in the place were eating them so we figured they were a menu highlight. They were def good but personally I like mine a little more over cooked than they were. We also ordered the crab deviled eggs and the crab pretzel. Would order those both again. My only complaint on that is that there were 5 deviled egg halfs. Seems like when dealing with eggs we should have gotten an even number of halfs? haha. Where did the other half egg go? They had big tvs and were playing all the big fb games but without the volume which was the only reason we didn't stay longer this time. read more

Everything was perfect today. First real spring weather. Outdoor seating with a beach town practically all to ourselves. Snacking away at Happy Hour and watching the sun set. Besides the ambiance, all the food was great and delicious. A dozen raw oysters naturally for Happy Hour. Their Starboard VIPale Ale is delicious pairing with it. The Buffalo sliders were perfect with every bite. The crabby tater tots could have been more crabby. The crab cake sandwich was really great tasting too. Mi almost missed it but they e got their own Statblard hot sauce made by Peppers down the street by the outlets and that was delicious with the tots and dipping the crab cake in it too. I really liked the daily special too-- seared tuna with crusted sesame seed over a seaweed salad cucumber slice. read more

My husband and I went here for an impromptu date night. The rose was great and my husband loved the spicy margarita. The oysters were perfectly shucked and we loved the old bay tater tots. It was a total seafood bar and probably isn't the best option for kids. Service was great. Highly recommend for seafood lovers and date nights. read more

Very good raw bar menu, but I would not do any crab options. The crab soup was a major disappointment; way too much potato and onions and NO crab. The shrimp were good but the they actually had raw potatoes in the bowl which surprised us. Raw bar was very good and had very good options. We also would suggest sticking with beer, as the margaritas were disappointing as well. We will not give up on this place as it is a great location and the staff was very nice. Hopefully they are just going through a difficult time with finding a good chef. read more

BEST HAPPY HOUR IN TOWN! When you find any place that offers happy hour on a weekend during vacation is a win. We got seated 3 minutes before happy hour ends, our server, Wendy was so kind to took our orders right away. And she even told us that as long as you are seated before happy hour ends, you will get the deal! We got the dozen of oysters for a buck each! It's totally worthy. The oysters were good size. The Buffalo shrimp was so delicious, the Buffalo sauce was from house made, this is also a must try off the happy hour menu. read more

She was also a tad rude when I told her another person in my party had started a tab. Waitress forgot two things we had ordered. We ordered a few appetizers. We didn't say anything at first b/c we thought the other items would come out after our seafood tower which took up a lot of the table. We get the bill and the items were on the tab. We said something and she asked why we hadn't said anything, we told her we thought the rest would come out in "shifts." She appeared annoyed that she had to go and remove these items from the tab. She had been friendly before until we pointed out the charge for items we didn't receive. Then she acted a bit abrasive. This establishment is very busy and I'm sure things can get hectic but she passed our table numerous times and never noticed that we hadn't received everything. My husband and I absolutely loved this place . We came here for happy hour & we had the raw oysters for a $1.00 now you can't beat that . We also ordered the tacos . I gotten the steak which was very delicious & he gotten the blackened fish which was his favorite. We aslo ordered the crab dip that came with the pretzels it was good but I wish the crab dip was a bit bigger portion & less bread. Cute little place, fills up fast so get there early if you want a seat inside. Boyfriend enjoyed his buffalo chicken salad and I loved the salad I got that had crab and avocado on it, and the mussels. Wonderful service from Wendy tonight! We had a great time and the food was fabulous. We decided to go tapas style and ordered a bunch of small plates plus some oysters. All was wonderful. The b- more style crab soup had large chunks of lump meat in it. Oysters were on point, raw tuna lettuce cups were yum, crab lobster guacamole also great. My daughter chose the Buffalo shrimp and they were to die for as well. We did have one small plate that was accidentally left out, but we were so full it worked out and was taken off the bill with no issues. read more
