I didn't have food and was there on New Year's Eve. The owner came after my son because the bartender made a mistake with the cup his drink was to be in. He was very nice about it. The atmosphere was very dry and crowded. I did like my drink. I'm not a fan of elbow to elbow wall to wall people. I will go back sometime. read more

Aloha, super fun bar in the downtown area. We even saw the Mayor there! I guess a popular place in Salisbury, 2 rooms, and a very nicely lanterned lite outdoor seating area, if not too cold out. It looks like has live music on some nights, fun bartender, good server. Best part, IPA beers, nice. Glad we stopped in for a cocktail before dinner. Had a fun chat with niece and nephew too. The Brick Room is right in the heart of main street Salisbury this cozy little bar has a 1920s speakeasy vibe with dim lighting and actual brick-lined walls. There is additional inside seating for larger groups and outdoor seating with couches, fire pits, and tables if you like a more casual feel. It's a great location if you are looking for more of an adult, upscale location to just sit and enjoy a drink. They offer Signature Cocktails, a large selection of Craft Brews, and Wines, and they claim to have the "Best Bourbon selection in town!". They have a jukebox that allows you to become the DJ. There are also some Jenga Blocks for you and your friends to have a bit of fun while enjoying your beverages. Our bartender was friendly and attentive! There were multiple people in our group, and he had no problem keeping up with us and the rest of the bar customers! We had multiple whiskey shots, drinks, crushes, and beers while we were there. All made perfectly! They also have EVERYDAY HAPPY HOUR 4-8! I was told that it's one of the only spots in town that host a Pride (LGBT+) night every Wednesday between 5-7 pm for happy hour. If you are out on 3rd Friday visiting the downtown area (3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury, has artists and crafters lining the streets, live music outside, and loads of special activities) stop in and grab a drink at the Brick Room. The BrickRoom is an awesome tavern-like bar right in the heart of main street Salisbury. It's actually one of the only spots in town that actually host a Pride (LGBT+) night on every Wednesdays between 5-7 pm for happy hour. That's when I came through. There are three areas. First one is an indoor seating area to the left which has some small tables, What's cool in that space is the jukebox against the wall which allows you to become the DJ. There also some Jenga Blocks against the wall. The second area is the bar area with a few tables near the entrance. It's a comfortable spot to meet and greet some friends. The winner is Outside there is nicely decorated Firpits with modern patio furniture. The Grand Laquered door, and the wall fountain are both Is showstoppers from the outside looking in. The drinks are amazing, Our bartender was friendly and attractive. DRINKS - I had the French 75 and loved it. The orange crush was well made too. I enjoyed vodka shots too filled to room. I honestly had one of the best nights I have had in Salisbury, Md. If your looking for an inclusive spot to meet some friendly locals this is it. TBR is my go to bar when I come home. They make the absolute perfect smoked Old Fashion. I have yet to find Another place who makes it quite like them. The atmosphere is so chill. The music is great. The staff are so chill and fun. Outside of the bar the have an outside patio and a back room filled with classic games such as Jenga--JUMBO SIZE! This is truly a one of one establishment in Salisbury Md where you can meet, mingle and have a good cocktail. This particular location doesn't serve food unfortunately but they have indoor outdoor vibes which is cool I think the sound system could be better but other then that,I'd recommend this location as a place to go for a nightcap read more

First time here. Not digging the attitude of the bartender...I really don't like being spoken at like I'm from the boonies. I've been around the world and have been to some wonderful food and drink venues... you don't have a Michelin-Starred venue here. When I asked to see a menu, her response: "folks usually come here before or after dinner" When I asked to see a drink menu or wine list, she directed me to chalkboards on the wall. I don't understand why this venue is listed as a "restaurant" on Yelp. I probably won't be back. This place has potential but I was completely turned off by staff. read more

My brother brought my husband and over here one night to grab a drink. Since it was right after Christmas, it was certainly busy. However, the Brick Room is a great new addition to downtown Salisbury and its revitalization efforts. Parking along the street was no problem to attain and it was a short walk over to the bar ... The bouncer at the door left a lot of to be desired. He stood in front of the door with his arms crossed and feet at shoulder width apart. Seriously, dude ... it's the night after Christmas and it's 30 degrees outside. There's no real need for the tough-guy attitude. It's no downtown bar in Boston, New York, or Baltimore. It's Salisbury. Anyway, when we finally got in thanks to one of my brother's friends, we were actually pleasantly surprised. The decor in this space is awesome. I loved the exposed brick with the chalkboard art. The designer knew to let the original exposed brick speak for itself and there was no need for any more decor. If anything, the most misleading part about this place is that when it's at capacity, it's really not a lot of people because the spot is rather small and narrow. The bartenders were really nice and even though it was busy, no one went without a drink. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I really liked this place because there seemed to be a bit of an older crowd (maybe slightly more refined?). The prices were really reasonable (then again, I live in Boston where alcohol prices are absurd) and there was quite a selection. It was a low-key, low frills kind of place. It wasn't a dive-y place by any means. It seemed like a great place to meet up with your friends and enjoy a beer or two. I really hope the Brick Room is successful. Downtown Salisbury has a lot of potential and its places like this that will revitalize it. read more

This is a very cool out of the way spot. Loved the natural wood meets industrial gas pipe accents at the bar. There is a very nice outside seating area though it was a little too cool out us to enjoy it on the evening we visited. The bartender was personable and informative. Great beer menu. What a cool idea! Simple, sublime and very NYC in it's feel. They have no restuarant, just take out / delivery menus for local places which are more than happy to send it over. Momma K and I had our weekly sushi (see my review for Sushi De Kampi) and enjoyed the beer selections. Hopefully, over time the wine selection will expand a tad but it is a small, new bar. Nice atmosphere, friendly bartenders willing to help or chat or go away, if that's your thing. For Salisbury, it is certainly a worthy go! read more

Used to hate this place, but now it's one of my favorite bar hideouts. I usually go on a weekday when it's quiet and I can sit and read every beer they have on tap or in the cold case. It's clean and cool, the bartender is friendly, and there's always something new to try. I'm excited for the expansion but will miss the to-go beer. More than lives up to its' name, alot of exposed brick inside. Salisbury needs a place that is different and fills a little bit of the need for something you could only find in a big city. This place is all about Craft Beers and the drinking selection is more than accommodating. Bartender was friendly and made easy conversation.
