Entered the restaurant which is also a bowling alley and arcade games. Being in the beach area in Delaware on the weekends is like driving NYC in rush hour, so I decided to reserve a table for myself and 2 grandsons noticing they had a nice kid's menu. Upon entering I noticed I wouldn't have needed a reservation and was very surprised. We were seated at a very cool three sided square booth which lined the restaurant very comfortable and happy adding to the experience. Had a bourbon cocktail to start, very good. The food we ordered were very good. The kids ordered the Kraft Mac n cheese which they enjoyed and I have to admit being from South Jersey near the Philly area the cheesesteak I ordered was indeed sliced ribeye on a delicious Liscio roll. Definitely a south Philly competitor. I remember mentioning to my buddy who graciously lent me his condo for the week to enjoy with the kids, who recommended dining here what a wonderful experience this was and he said when he took his brother, he was so surprised a bowling alley was capable of delivering such a wonderful dining experience. read more

A friend and I visited on a Saturday night because we knew it had ddr (for me). I bumped into 3 selections that I like that I didn't notice or remember last time- Never Ending Story, Initial D, and some song reminiscent of Ace of Base where Reddit probably has resources to find the machine type at the location and then maybe the song associated with that location. Maybe- which is kinda insane- but in a good way. Both my friend and I thought that DDR included 2 or 3 rounds before but now it is only one game for $2 which is expensive. They seem to be the only ones who offer this in the area for now and they have a good selection for me otherwise. We played air hockey where one side's outside goal borders a bit flimsy like last year or so but it still works well otherwise. Small arcade but it seems not too populated even on a Saturday night or not this one. The location and size may have to do with why there are not too many people either. They get most of their money from the food experience probably. Maybe bowling and other things that I don't know that they have might do better. There was a live band on Thai Sat evening. Not my kind of music but this more elderly, classy crowd seemed to be enjoying in the festivities a lot. The bathrooms here are clean. read more

We had a group of 8 people and rented the top golf experience. It was pretty expensive over $100 for 1 hour & the sensor barely worked on any of the games. We had to get the attendant at least 5 times. He was cool & ended up Giving us an extra 10 mins but the sensors still didn't work lol so we left and went to duckpin bowling. In the meantime we were all starving. We had no service no waitress nothing for over 1 hour. We finally went to the bar & asked they said they were short staffed. Finally after waiting 1 1/2 hours a manager came & took our order. The food came out & everyone was happy. Huge pizza value for the 29.99 play pass. I got the steak frites it was ok. quality ingredients but not cooked right. I liked everything else drink was strong so that helped. Over all we had a fantastic time this place is super cool! They had a great arcade & band! They just need to organize the staff & get the machines working & this place would be 5 stars! read more

Fun to sit at the bar and enjoy a brew and some appetizers. Friendly barkeeps and many local and craft brews on tap, including a Lefty's Ale (now brewed by RAR). The pizzas look amazing! Thin, closest to the NY pizza grail according to fans. Last trip, we had to sample the cheesesteak rolls and potato skins. Very good and wow on the presentation. The cheesesteak spring rolls come topped with caramelized onion, and a queso dipping sauce. The potstickers, the nachos with chicken tinga, and tuna tostadas are all really good. read more

Something for everyone, golf, soccer,bowling, ax throwing,a very nice arcade and a great restaurant, what's not to like. If you think the $2/game senior daily special is great to take the grandkids to, think again. If anyone in your party isn't a senior then nobody gets the $2/game deal. Instead it's $50/hr for a lane. They claim they don't charge by the game, yet the senior special is $2/game!! If you want to take the grandkids bowling, my advice is to go to a real bowling alley. This is not that! read more

In all my years coming down to Dewey/Rehoboth I have never been here. I know its on the newer side. It is really an awesome place to bring the family, have a friends night out or to celebrate special occasions for any age. The food here looked pretty good for bar food. Pizza, chips and guac were just a few items that were ordered from my friends. They have an arcade area with many different games: skeeball, airhockey and more. There is also a few lanes for bowling ( they have different weights of the balls too!) Each little section seems semi private too and they have a waiter come and bring you food and drinks. There is a great size bar area with tvs and a stage. Plenty of seating too. I was also told they have karaoke nights and silent discos! We also saw Ax throwing section. Great spot to come if its a rainy, snowy day or if its super hot and want to cool down. I highly recommend this place. Last night was my first night there and I can't wait to go back next. read more

Came here with my son's baseball team and parents for dinner one night for a baseball tournament. It seemed like it was a cool place when we walked in , there was a large arcade, bowling alley, bar and restaurant. We sat and drank some beers and ate as a team, the service was slow and everyone seemed as though they didn't really know what they were doing or how to handle such a large party. The beer was nice a cold but pricey and the food was ehh, they tried to mix a cheap kids hangout and gourmet restaurant. I ordered some chicken nachos and it was completely loaded with shredded lettuce, so much in fact I couldn't get away from it and it ended up ruining the dish for me. Every bite was just a task to try to not have a mouth full of long stringy lettuce, I definitely regreted ordering it. After that the kids ran and played and the dad's just sat and had some more beers while the mom's talked and gossiped. It was impossible to get a lane for bowling so we never did get to do that . All in all it was an ok place to hang out for 1 night, but the food attempted to be something it's not which is gourmet and ended up flopping in my opinion. The prices are definitely something that would keep this place from being an everyday hangout if i was local and it just didn't hit the mark for me. read more

Lefty's is a great place for family fun. Aside from its bowling alley they have good food for the family. It's also a great place to watch a sports event at the bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and their Happy Hour deals can't be beat. I think they have the best pizza in southern Delaware. Pizza is half price on Tuesday and they have ice cold brews on tap. Great spot! The bowling area feels fresh and modern--loved the setup with sofas and a coffee table instead of the usual bowling chairs and tables. It gives the place a more upscale, lounge-like vibe. Only downside is that you sit directly across from strangers. There's also an arcade and a restaurant on-site, which makes it perfect for a full night out. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Yesterday, my husband and I had cocktails and appetizers at Lefty's. The food was very tasty and the beers were cold. The two bartenders, Danny and Daniel, were exceptional...they were extremely busy yet remained very pleasant and managed to fill everyone's orders. We would definitely recommend the place. read more

First visit and will definitely not be my last ! Such a fun place for all ages. Something for everyone in all areas. There is bowling of course, a couple of pool tables, arcade and sports bars all under one roof! The place is cavernous! Very clean and managed well Happy Hour menu was great, fresh and delicious food. Salmon sliders were really good cooked just right and great tasting. The Lefty's Alley fries were a big hit and especially my personal favorite.Crispy fries with bacon, cheese sauce, brown gravy and green onions. Not your typical gravy fries! Service was 10+. Our server kept our drinks topped, and came by often to check on us. We played an hour of pool in the very far back end where there is a dining area, bar and lounge. Our group aged 59, 45 and 19 all had fun! Not many places tick off on everything in one conveplace. We will definitely return again soon! read more

The 1 star I'm giving is for the waitress who knew the kitchen was backed up. She was courteous and attentive. After that, it's all downhill. If a restaurant serves Pepsi products over Coke products, I will automatically remove a star. Strike 1, does not serve Coke products. The restaurant area is huge and dark. Depressing dark. I ordered an onion ring app and my friend ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. After about 15 minutes, I got my onion rings...no artichoke dip. The waitress came back to say the kitchen messed up and she wouldn't charge for the dip. The meal finally arrived. I ordered a turkey burger with brie, and cranberry sauce with an onion ring garnish. It was served lukewarm, the brie was not melted and there was barely a schmear of cranberry sauce. This thing was awful. I cut it in half and planned to only eat the one half. My friend who was kind enough to give me half of her bacon jam beef burger. That wasn't much better. It was overcooked, not juicy and again, lukewarm. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Someone who appeared to be a manager asked if he could clear away our plates but he didn't ask how everything was. He probably already knew. Don't go to Lefty's. I wouldn't even take a kid to bowl or play the arcade. The whole place is dank, overpriced, and not worth the time. Sorry Lefty's...you need to clean up your act. People who come down to beaches spend money and want a quality product. read more

Since we are not football fans, we went to Lefty's for the chefs special menu Sunday. I had the most delicious lamb chops with fingerling potatoes and broccoli that I've ever tasted it. I order lamb chops at the best restaurants and this chef's lamb chops rank in the top three. My wife and grandchildren ordered the special tacos where just out of this world, and my wife's cheesesteak was large and full of prime rib meat. We had a fabulous day and a great experience at lefties. Hats off to the chef! Hats off to our waitress Lindsay who provided fabulous service. read more

A very fun place! You have a restaurant that is very good with great service. A bowling alley, billiards tables, axe throwing and an arcade! Not too badly priced but the arcade can get a bit pricey if you stay too long! (HAHA)! They give you bonus money on certain denomination of game cards. They have special offers at the restaurant on different days. Tuesday is bogo pizza and it's very good! They also have happy hour! A really fun place to spend the day with adults or kids! They are quick to take your money for league, but never follow thru with their own instructions. You can never get anyone to email you or call you back. Was told multiple times by multiple people information about the league I had already paid for starting date and time. The Coordinator is a Unicorn and I still do not know if that person even exists. You will stand and wait forever for someone to come to the desk to greet you at the customer service desk. It is just a complete JOKE! read more

We ordered a pizza with two toppings for takeout. Each topping was an additional $2.50. Unfortunately we didn't get a look at it till we got home. What a disaster! If you are a serious or competitive bowler, this place IS NOT for you. I have never been until tonight. I will say that the atmosphere seemed nice and it was very clean. I didn't try the food, I just went there to see what the bowling alley was like. You would think a place called Lefty's ALLEY and eats would have well maintained bowling lanes, I mean it's in the name right? The Sahara desert has more moisture than the lack of oil on the lanes. The string pins are the worst. Anybody who knows a thing or two about bowling knows you have to hit the 1,3 pocket for righties to have a good chance at striking. My roto grip spare ball which doesn't hook hardly at all was almost hooking in the ditch halfway down the lane. Also, I didn't know it was possible to ever get a 4,7 strike until tonight...if you know, you know. I will never go there for bowling again. When I asked one of the employees how often they oiled the lanes, he said in his experience there, it was hardly ever. He followed up by telling me the obvious, which was, this place is not really geared toward competitive bowler's. Lesson learned. I just don't understand why a place which advertises bowling on it's name wouldn't actually have a well maintained bowling alley. Not to mention, the price of bowling on the piss poor, dry lanes is ridiculous! In all fairness, I never tried the food, the axe throwing or the top golf experience. If you go, go to try everything else but bowling. I think the employees thought I looked out of place walking in with my professional bowling bag and custom drilled high performance bowling balls.
