Mike is always so helpful and kind, seriously 10/10 customer service. Food is fresh and always cooked perfectly. Line is never too long and lot of tables. read more

I was super excited that a new place was coming to Santee! Overall it was pretty good. I like the mustard dressing on the brisket sandwich and the pretzel bun. The onion rings were good too. The only thing I would change is the chips. I think they could be thinner and lighter. But overall it was good. Everyone was nice and seating was easy to find. read more

My whole family loves this place so it's an easy choice when we're deciding where to eat dinner. My son says the ABC burger is his favorite burger on Earth. I love earning points on the app for coupons and free food. I like the French Onion Soup burger a lot but also like having other choices like the salmon bowl or Thai chicken sandwich when I'm in the mood for something different. Service is always great too. read more

Here's a polished, smooth version that reads naturally as a review: --- My husband and I decided to stay close to home for our 24th anniversary and chose to try this fairly new restaurant. It was our first visit, and we were really impressed. The Kale Quinoa Salad was fresh and delicious, and my husband's Jalapeño Bacon Burger was cooked perfectly to medium‑well. The service and food were both excellent. They even have a few TVs if you want to catch a game. Ray was especially kind and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our experience. We highly recommend giving this place a try. read more

My boyfriend and I love coming here when we're craving burgers and/or chicken sandwiches. Their fire sauce is a personal favorite of mine where it starts out soft like a Chipotle sauce, and then slowly sneaks up on you. I put that sauce on everything more than I would Frank's hot sauce. The pickles they have near the registers are always fresh and crunchy, and as a pickle lover that just put that extra add in that sends it way over the top for me knowing other places don't really do that for people. Especially when you can pick more than just one. Ray helped us out a ton and checked in to make sure everything was going well and if there was anything else we needed while we sat down. It gives you the small business feel a lot of us miss nowadays. If you get the chance to download the app for points and online ordering, it makes everything that much easier for future. read more

We love The Stand! The food is amazing! They have delicious options but also a lot of healthy options that our toddler will actually eat. The staff, especially Ray, are always helpful and kind. I had a really good milkshake here. Ray gave exceptional service and we will definitely be back!

The stand is a refreshing change from all the chicken joints in Santee. They have healthy choices and above average service. Their points system achieves decent savings, but the reason we come back is the quality of the food! Also like the outdoor seating. And kudos to cool Mike who helped us! read more

4.5 stars I wasn't expecting much from this place. I thought it was just going to be another burger and salad place. I was wrong. We were greeted by friendly service at the cashier. The line was long initially but it moved quickly. We ordered the Havarti Shroom Burger, Peri Peri chicken bowl with salad/rice, and sweet potatoes. We were blown away. This was the best burger we've had in a long time. The bowl also had generous amounts of chicken, plus 50/50 salad and rice. Usually the rice in rice bowls are just mediocre, but this rice was perfectly fluffy and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were also really good. I like how the staff clean the tables. Although if they are busy, it may take them a while to clean up tables. I subtracted half a star because it did take a while for us to receive our food. Maybe they were short staffed in the back. In any case, we hope to return again soon! read more

They have a nice menu...you order at the register...person who took my order was very nice and helpful. ...they have both indoor and outdoor seating....there are big screen TV's ....they keep everything nice and clean...a bit on the noisy inside...not too bad..I would go back again and try something else. read more

Finally had lunch at the Stand in Santee. Our burgers were very delicious and the flavor was well balanced and didn't need any condiments. I had the mushroom burger and my husband tried the jalapeño bacon burger. Service was friendly and efficient. You order at the counter but they bring the food to your table. Yes, it's on the pricey side but the quality is spot on read more

Wow this place is amazing. The food was really good and fast. Try it you won't be disappointed.

The Stand is my go to after work. I'm in love with the miso salmon bowl. Paired with a cucumber kale salad, Meyer lemon aioli, and the addicting purple rice, it's the stuff dreams are made of. The brisket grilled cheese is perfect if you're in the mood for something comforting and filling. The fresh baked cookies are the best way to finish the meal since milkshakes aren't kind to my tummy. The food is great but the service from the employees like, Mike, keeps me coming back. Mike is a highlight who is personable, friendly, and a super efficient worker. He has great suggestions and will help you order what your hunger desires. It can get busy around meal times, just be patient since it's all made to order. read more

My husband and I visited The Stand for the first time today. The staffs are very nice. I ordered Chimichurri Steak Salad. The Chimichurri Steak was good. However, Too much dressing on the salad. The lettuce was soaked in the moisture and was very saggy. I should have ordered dressing on the side. My husband ordered an Ultimate Egg burger. He said it was good. read more

Jacie is an incredible manager here at the stand, she was extremely helpful, and helping me decide what tastes the best based on other peoples opinions. I accidentally ordered the wrong salad when placing my online order. I didn't realize until I arrived that I had ordered a Southwest chicken instead of a Chinese chicken salad. Second time at The Stand and I'm still mind blown with this place! Not only is the food phenomenal but the service is incredible! Charles handled our order and was the most professional I've seen in a long time! He was not only able to take down our order but was able to help another customer out without missing a beat! Multitasking at its finest! And I come from a high traffic theme park guest services job, so I know how hectic it is to accommodate guests/customers at a time. 10 stars if I could!!! read more

Went there yesterday and while their ap stated they opened at 10:30, their actual hours are 11:00 but we were greeted at the door at 10:35 and they let us in. It's one of those new walk up and order places where you order and they give you a number to place on your table. The premises were super clean and the staff were super friendly, attentive and interactive from the cashier to Ray. Food was excellent and I'd definitely wander over to Santee from Rancho San Diego, (and my girlfriend from San Diego proper), to enjoy a lunch again. It's a place where you can take your kids or enjoy a casual lunch/dinner. Kudos! read more
