Because of climate change, we have started experiencing atmospheric river storms as witnessed in the last few weeks. We experienced a leak during the week between Christmas and New Years and when I called their office, I learned that they were closed until Monday, January 5. Well to my surprise. I received a call back from their office asking about the severity of the leak and whether I needed immediate help or could it wait until they had everyone back to work on the 5th. I had a bucket collecting water and the leak was small enough that I decided it could wait. On the 5th, I received a call back from the office asking if they could send two repair people that afternoon to inspect and repair the issue. I was not home but my wife was, and she said that the gentlemen were prompt and thorough and explained what they saw and what did to correct the leak. I am not writing this as a novice to the problems in the construction industry, I am now retired but worked 40+ years in the window and door portion of the industry from owning my own company and working in sales for a billion-dollar wood window company (Marvin Windows and Doors). If anyone knows of Marvin, they are a company that prides themselves in producing one of the best wood windows in the industry as well as providing exceptional service. Unbelievable, my father became ill and couldn't deal with this and I did contact the Better Business Bureau and they stated that too many years had passed- it was 3 years. How long is a roof supposed to last?? Regardless, poor craftsmanship and material reflects the job quality of Manada Roofing. I just today, completed the repairs for this winter. I was pretty shocked how aggressive they were in their phone calls and emails. I recommend that customers keep detailed records and receipts for any work done with this company.
