I August, I hired R Sparkling solutions clean our gutters before some carpentry and house painting work was done. I didn't look for other gutter cleaners because I was in a hurry and trusted his good reviews. We had screens over part of the gutters. Ricardo said they'd come on Aug 26th. He said they'd arrive between 11AM and 1PM, and the job would take three hours. He quoted me $399 to remove the screens, clean the gutters and replace the screens. I called Ricardo the day before and told him they didn't need to put the screens back on after cleaning because we're having carpentry and house painting done, and we didn't want to replace the screens until everything was finished. On Aug 26 I was away on a brief errand, planning to return home before 11:00. Ricardo called me at 10:30 (30 min. before the scheduled time.) I wasn't home, but he told me the workers were there and were going to begin. When I got home at 11:00, there were two very young people, a boy and a girl, working on the roof. They looked like they should be in school, not spraying gutters on somebody's roof. They didn't speak English. By the time I arrived they had thrown all the screens in the garbage, breaking them in the process. The work didn't take three hours; they were here from 10:30-11:45. I called Ricardo and told them I was very unhappy because now I was going to have to hire someone to replace the screens. I told him I'd pay him $200 for the job. He kept interrupting to say I told him the day before to put the screens in the garbage. "I have it written down right here," he said. Three times I replied that it was nonsense; I never would've said that because we were planning to have the screens put back on after the other work was done. He could say he wrote it down but that didn't make it true. He kept overtalking me and repeating his lies. I pointed out that if they hadn't started earlier than their scheduled time, I would've been here and I could've stopped the workers from throwing the screens away. Finally I threatened a bad Yelp review and he accepted the $200. Later I discovered that I could have hired a really professional gutter company to clean the gutters for less than the $399 he originally quoted me. I hired CR Gutters to complete the job. They were honest, professional, hard working, and didn't send children out to do the work. I decided to post this review because I think people need to be warned. I don't know where all the good reviews came from; I wouldn't trust this guy. read more

I should've put in my review earlier. The with was done October 21, 2024. I needed to have the gutters and down spouts cleaned out on my mobile home. R Sparkling Solutions did a great job. Good price. They were running a little late but when I called to confirm appointment, Ricardo kept me updated on the time by text The employees were pleasant. They did a great job. They took pictures of the gutters and Ricardo texted them to me. There was a lot of gunk and leaves clogging up the gutters preventing the water from going down the spouts. This might be why I've been getting water inside between the walls. I bought the home in 2018 and never cleaned out the gutters and I had the feeling the gutters weren't cleaned out prior to me buying the home. A few weeks ago I called around for a few quotes to get our gutters cleaned and our cement surfaces power washed. After a few quotes, I found R Sparkling Solution to be competitively priced and Ricardo was early to the appointment for the quote and on time for the service appointment. He was very clear on the costs, and when I decided to go with him we communicated efficiently using texts. Our cement has had over a day to dry now, and I am happy with the results. The cement on north side of our property had a lot of accumulated mold (?) growing on the cement surface since we had it poured over 20 years ago. Between the cement lines where our cement transitions to brick, there was also a lot of dirt and mounds of moss growing. He got rid of all of it. The dark/blackish stains that was on our cement is now gone. I had him power wash our driveway as well, but it faces south and is a less dramatic change, although having all the dirt and moss between the cement panels washed away is great. Next time around I'll call him sooner than 20 years in, and I'd have him power wash the sides of our house too. read more
