Joshua is fantastic! When we bought our house last spring, we hired him to wash the windows and clean the gutters, which probably hadn't been cleaned in at least 4 years. He is an excellent communicator, so we knew exactly when to expect him, and he continued to communicate throughout the project until everything was completed to perfection. We just hired him again to clean the gutters before the rainy season really gets going. It was much more difficult than he anticipated because our house has 3 stories in the back and is on a steep hill. He found a way to do the job from the inside because most of our windows can be lifted out and cleaned from the inside. In spite of working inside, he left no mess for us to clean up. Our upstairs ceilings are over 15' tall and, with his very long ladder, he offered to change a ceiling light bulb that we were unable to do. He's the best! This was my first time needing to hire an outside contractor to wash all of the windows/screens throughout the house. After reading reviews of businesses in the same category on YELP, I contacted the top 5 rated companies for estimates and information. I considered the cost, availability and I wanted to use a local company. Joshua Bardin, Owner/Operator, responded back to me in rapid fashion with the information that I was satisfied with so we scheduled the appointment for a 7AM start time on a Sunday morning. Joshua was punctual and pleasant as he greeted me in the front yard. I'm so happy with his attitude and workmanship. He was very thorough cleaning the windows screens, all of the tracking, and all windows/sliding glass doors (inside & outside). Best of all, Joshua is an honest man. Let me explain. After the job was completed, I verified the total cost of what I was paying but I made the mistake of not solidifying the manner of how he accepts electronic payments. I made the assumption that every outside contractor uses Venmo. I know.....not very smart!! While Joshua was outside reloading up his truck, I hit 'send' on Venmo. To my dismay, he informs me that he didn't have a Venmo account and uses another electronic app for his business bookkeeping. Now I had not written a check for years so after digging them out from the bottom of my desk drawer, I wrote a check to Bargain Window & Gutter with the understanding it was a "backup fund" if I could get my money back from Venmo. I now know that is not possible. Once I hit 'send' on Venmo, my money was gone. Joshua left with my check and a Venmo payment while he & I tried to figure out how to get him payed with the least amount of complications. Joshua advised me that the only way for him to get the funds out of Venmo was to create an account for himself and after the 2 day delay was complete, he would shred the spare check. Which he did. Like I said; Joshua is an honest man. Thank you Joshua. I highly recommend this business for the quality of work, punctuality, acceptable rates and quality of character. The first project I signed up for was the rain gutter cleaning service. At the end of the job I had two buckets (Lowes/Home Depot size) of gunk (it was muddy, not leafy). Received videos of all areas cleaned and personally took pictures of the buckets of gunk. Mentioned to Joshua that we just had the exterior painted and didn't want to see any dirty stains on the exterior walls, and Joshua made sure everything was cleaned up when he completed the rain gutter cleaning service. Joshua was on time, easy to talk to and super easy to work with on this project. His level of quality definitely shows as he clearly captures the completed rain gutters and captures that the drainage to the downspouts work. Next project will be to power wash concrete walkways and patio, interior and exterior window cleaning (these didn't bother me before covid but working from home the unkept windows are just annoying) and I feel nervous about reaching the higher windows myself, and fix all window screens. One item that I hope to see from Joshua (down the road) is a worksheet of the project and activities being performed. I found Joshua (the owner of this business) via yelp because of all the high ratings and I'm glad I decided to go with him. Today we had our windows cleaned and they are sparkling! So many times other companies would miss cleaning some tracks but Joshua got them all and they are super clean now. I've been on a quest for several years to find someone good and I'm relieved I don't have to look anymore. We had some skylights that also needed to be cleaned, but I forgot to mention them until he arrived. I was worried if he'd have enough time because there are three sets, but he didn't even hesitate to say that it would be no problem. Joshua is a great communicator too. Joshua is not reliable at all. He repaired a leak in the gutter and told me that if it leaks again he will come and fix it. I reported a leak and asked him to fix in May 2022. He confirmed an appointment and didn't show up. Then he tells me that he his busy and can do it in June and that I will have to buy the material to fix the leak. I agreed to it and spent around $15 on the material even though I was not responsible for it. In June, now this person tells me that he can't make it and that I should find someone else to do it and that he would refund me my money for all the troubles. I still went ahead and told him that I'll wait and he can come and fix it whenever he has time as it's not a rainy season anymore so that he doesn't have to refund the money. Since then this person has blocked me and now is denying to pay me back. Not a trustworthy guy at all. read more

They usually rush the job, leaving streaked windows and missed areas.
