Highly recommend Chris and his team! Easy to communicate with, thoughtful and attentive to detail. He fully replaced our gutters and downspouts, with larger, higher quality materials, more carefully installed. They also painted the downspouts to match our multi-tonal house, and as a bonus, cleaned our solar panels for a nominal additional fee. The upgraded gutter and downspout capacity will serve us well for years to come! read more

Excellent work performed by the 2-member CR Gutters team specifically Min & Hose. After completing the cleaning, Min shared before & after pictures of all gutters around our roofline. I definitely recommend this business! read more

Chris at CR Gutters recently repaired a gutter for my father-in-law and I was very impressed with his customer service and response time. I found the pricing to be very fair and would hire CR Gutters for my own home when needed. I recommend anyone who is considering gutter repair or replacement to contact Chris at CR Gutters. The best way to get in touch is through the website and submitting an inquiry. read more

Our gutters were leaking a steady stream of drips, turning the ground by our house soggy. Chris came out and deduced that the problem was water spilling over our fine-mesh gutter guards. CR came out this summer and installed a new set of gutter guards while also cleaning the gutters and downspouts. Chris personally supervised the project, which he brought in slightly under budget. Now that the rainy season is here I can say that it worked! Still a tiny amount of dripping, but not nearly as much as before. I recommend them. read more

Chris was incredibly communicative and took the time to thoroughly assess our home's gutters. The cleaning and debris filter installation was completed quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them. read more

We brought in Chris for a three story house on a hill - not an easy feat. Chris was professional, careful, took cautions and was extremely responsive leading up to the day of cleaning. Very happy with CG Gutters. read more

They don't do repair work during the rainy season, only major projects. No one answers the phone and you need to fill out their form online to find out this critical info. They should just include this info in the voicemail greeting they record. read more

We got 4 proposals for replacing our gutters and are so pleased to have selected CR Gutters. We found Chris to be the most knowledgeable, taking the time to inspect the house and explain the nuances regarding certain parts of our house, patient in answering all our questions, and providing options of gutter and downspout styles which are subtle and go perfectly with the style of our house! His team showed up on time every day. They were extremely polite and professional and worked efficiently. Despite the unexpected rain, they finished the project earlier than planned. He provided references in the neighborhood and was highly recommended by other nearby homeowners. We are really pleased to have worked with Chris and highly recommend CR Gutters. read more

I highly recommend CR Gutters. They provide outstanding service. Chris Seeger helped us replace all gutters when we redid our roof. Before we replaced the roof, Chris met us and said we should wait to do any work after we get the new roof. He is incredibly honest and kind. He and his whole team did an outstanding job! We had one minor issue and Chris came back right away to adjust a down spout. He did not even charge us. He is deeply knowledgeable, polite and professional, hardworking and has deep expertise. Hire him if you need help. read more

I am writing this review just after the epic rainfall we had in late December 2022/January 2023... the atmospheric rivers, the blast cyclone... the relentless heavy rain. In summer of 2022 Chris's company replaced all our gutters and downspouts. We were having new siding & windows installed, eaves repaired and repainted. Our existing gutters looked old and tired. We contacted Chris and one other 5-star company. Chris got back to us quickly and came out for a bid soon after. The other company never responded. We explored options from repainting the existing gutters and replacing the downspouts with something modern to replacing everything. Chris showed us gutter & downspout designs and we wound up replacing everything. While we did not have a competitive bid, his prices seemed fair. More so, we felt very confident with him and his services. We had siding and painting work that had to be completed prior to his work. Due to delays in the siding part of the renovation, we had to push Chris's install date more than once and he was always very accommodating. When it all came together his crew (long time guys, which is always good) were great. They milled the gutters on site and installation went quick. They tied into some underground drains or, where we had none, did really nice custom outlets. Everything looks great and crisp. And, as initially mentioned, I am writing this review after the massive rains. Aside from how good the gutters look, they worked flawlessly! read more

Chris is a great guy who is super responsive and does good work. Highly recommended. Thanks Chris. Toby

We had our gutters changed with Chris, and it was a great experience. Chris is a good guy: reliable, efficient, makes the process really easy. His work is beautiful, and he's great at communication. He and his guys showed up exactly when they say they would, did a clean job. His guys were really nice, friendly and respectful. There were 3 of them total, so they were able to bang it out in a day. All around, 5 stars! read more

What I love about Chris and his team is that they don't try to bs you. They won't sell anything to you that you just won't need. That shows me integrity and these days that's something very valuable. The installers were courteous and were amazing to work with. We had a 2 month old that was sensitive to noise, especially during nap times, and the installers were able to work quickly and quietly. Pricing is a bit on the higher end but you do get what you pay for. Gutters aren't something that you do often, so why skimp out and get the cheap stuff? Do it once, do it right. read more

We hired CR gutters to install new gutters and a rain chain on our Oakland Hills home. Chris and his team were fabulous. He worked with us to figure out what would work for our home based on the timing of future renovation plans, and experimented with a rain chain until it was exactly what we wanted. His team was wonderful-- very respectful and professional. I never had any concerns having them in and around my home. After installation, the gutters looked excellent and actually made our home look nicer. We had a drip sound right next to our bedroom that kept us awake at night, and Chris came back and figured out what adjustments to make to fix the issue. I highly recommend working with Chris for your gutter installation! read more

This company is 100% honest and trustworthy! Chris responded to my emailed request for an estimate to replace my gutters. I received estimates from 7 companies and theirs was the 3rd cheapest. I selected CR Gutters to do the replacement. When Chris came to my home for a free visual inspection he informed me that my gutters were in perfect condition and did not need to be replaced. He advised me to make 1 slight repair which ended up saving me thousands of $$ and will extend the life of my gutters for another 10+ years. Thank you Chris for your help!! Might I also add, Chris is uber respectful and easy to talk to. Nothing like the contractors I'm use to working with. I will be sure to recommend CR Gutters to all my friends and family and the Yelp community. read more

We just had a lovely experience with CR Gutters replacing all of our gutters on our Walnut Creek home. Chris is a very kind person, very easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. His crew was extremely polite and professional. The whole process was very easy from start to finish, no drama, no shocking add ons to the original estimate (which in our home owning experience can happen often). We wish that every contractor/home specialist could be like this! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to replace their gutters. Thanks Chris! read more

Responsive and honest guy! Chris responded to our email and promptly came out to give us a quote for replacing our downspouts. I also have to add our home is super old and has multiple issues with the roof, but we were thinking of spacing out the repairs because...well, money. Instead of jumping right in and taking on the job, he upfront told us there's not much he could do since the gutter style on our roof is so outdated. He advised that our money would be better put into replacing the whole roof since it'd also take care of the gutters and downspouts at once. We really appreciated his advice and are definitely going to move forward with the suggestion. It's just a shame we didn't get the chance to work with him! Perhaps in the future! read more

I knew I was in for a great experience when Chris replied promptly to my request for info in a timely manner and spelled out clearly what he could do and couldn't do for my gutter/roof needs (see below) - Repair two damaged sections of gutters due to a neighbor's falling tree - Gutter debris protection - Downspout cleanout service Chris showed up spot on time for an estimate and was even concerned about the parking situation on our car ladened lane. He gave clear and cogent recommendations regarding downspout screens vs entire gutter screening. His quote was detailed and he broke down the pricing for each item. On the day of the job, Chris showed up 10 minutes before the time he stated he would arrive and gave instructions to his crew and then Chris let me know he would return later to inspect the work and collect payment. Chris and his team exceeded expectations! read more

This has been a great experience. When a gutter fails in the middle of an El Niño rainy season, you're not in a good position to shop around. Luckily, we found Chris. He was extremely prompt, friendly, and very communicative in responding to our need for emergency service. His inspection of the problem area was very thorough. But he did not push a higher priced, full house replacement job like some of his competitors did. After seeing the details of the house and hearing we had plans to paint in a few years, Chris suggested we go with a partial replacement instead. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the work was done. He was really prompt in scheduling the work, was able to give us an exact match of the profile on the rest of the house. In one morning, the new gutter was up, primed and ready for painting. To sum up... great experience, great work, great guy, and we are likely to call again when it comes time to do the whole house replacement. read more

We just had our gutters replaced by Chris & Team and we were so impressed. Chris was great to work with during the quote and scheduling process. He spent time with me reviewing material and color choices and downspout location options making it all painless. And then install day was a breeze, his crew were all meticulous and considerate. Our gutters are beautifully installed and I couldn't be happier. You can stop your search, I am super picky and they are the best. read more

Chris and his entire team at CR Gutters were extremely friendly and accommodating to our schedule. We had a 100+ year old home in Oakland with wood gutters that were badly damaged and in need of replacement. The team removed the gutters and disposed of them and installed an all new gutter system in both the front and rear of the home. From the scheduling to the install to the cleanup everything came out perfect and we could not be happier. Highly recommend this company for any of your gutter needs. Time for removal and total replacement of gutters. Got several estimates and after some consideration of varied options went with CR. Good decision! Couldn't have asked for more. Final product great! 5 star work and 5 star experience. Chris was extremely responsive at every step of the project and beyond patient as we needed to delay gutter removal many times due to all of the crazy weather. We had our downspouts repaired by Chris and his team and are impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. They were on time, and on the day they fixed & cleaned our downspouts, they identified and fixed all critical downspouts that needed repair; they went the extra mile and did not try to sneak in extra costs. We appreciate the quality of work - from materials to paint job - and now have fully functional downspouts! We needed to have a few gutters and downspouts replaced, added and cleaned around our house. Chris came out and talked through all the work that needed to be done and presented us with various options. Throughout the process he was clear in his communication. His team showed up the day of the work and left everything clean. They even agreed to come back two weeks later to clean the gutters since we were going to have some trees trimmed in the meanwhile which would leave debris. Overall very happy with the service (and the price) and would definitely recommend. read more

Chris was very straightforward about what the costs and possibilities were before he began work. His crew were pleasant and hardworking. The real crunch comes in support. There was a leak in the last windy rainstorms. He came out, and with a hose found the cause. The leak was not his fault or his crew's fault - but he was there to stand by his work. I recommend him. read more

Chris responded quickly to my request for a quote, met with me, and sent an estimate right away. The work was scheduled within 2 weeks. One day his crew removed the old gutters and the next day new gutters and drain spouts installed. Chris was a pleasure to deal with, I trusted his recommendations, and the new gutters and spouts look great on the house. Now if it would only rain so I can see them in action. I would definitely recommend using this company. read more

We're rating CR Gutters three stars because the gutters look good and Chris' team made all the connections/downspouts in the discussed locations. His team works fast, and if that's of the utmost importance to you, you should go with CR. In our case, they appeared to have worked too fast. Three sections of our gutters drain away from their downspouts, with water running the opposite direction to gather/remain at the far ends of gutters. After asking why these were not installed with customary fall towards downspouts, Chris cited that contract reads "CR Gutters may be limited by...slope of roof edge that does not allow gutter to be pitched" and explained "the downspout being at the low spot is not as important as people might think. Often, it is actually beneficial to have the spout at a higher spot than the spout." There's nothing unusual about the slope of our roof. We're left simply hoping Chris is correct, but certainly disappointed that he couldn't see himself to respond to our request that he take a look for himself. read more
