We are more than happy with the installation and experience of our new Decra Metal tile roof. It was pleasure dealing with Tony at Western Sierra. He obviously knowledgeable and very genuine. He offers a fair estimate and makes recommendations that are in the best interest of the client. Tyler and crew were professional and very attentive as well. I LOVE my new Decra Metal chestnut colored roof by Western Sierra! It was just completed today, and we are thrilled with it! We decided to have our roof replaced by Western Sierra because they did so many roofs in our neighborhood, and we heard only great things about the company. A few people even mentioned how much they enjoyed working with the owner, Tony and his family. We did not get quotes from other roofers after meeting with Tony, because we liked him so much, and knew he had a great reputation in our neighborhood. He gave us a quote in a timely manner, and it seemed very reasonable. We never felt any pressure from him, even though it took me a while to decide on a color. Very high marks for Tyler and his amazing crew! It was obvious they knew what they were doing. They cleaned up every day before leaving. Everything was well coordinated and went very smoothly. I'm so happy we chose the Decra metal roof, and even happier that we had it installed by Western Sierra! Thank you Tony, Tyler and entire crew! read more

A metal roof was installed on my house just prior to when I purchased it 34 years ago. The roof is still in excellent condition but, unfortunately, dry rot in the fascia boards and eaves that likely existed at that time of installation was not repaired and worsened over the years. I learned that Western Sierra Roofing is one of a few roofing contractors that works with the metal product installed on my roof. I spoke with owner, Tony Farber, and he patiently explained the combined cost of labor and materials for repairs like this are based on linear foot of the different wood products used to replace and repair the dry rot. Fair enough since it's impossible to determine the scope of work until the roofing materials are removed and the damaged areas can be assessed. Tony assigned two VERY skilled members of his team (Hector and Jose) to the job. They arrived each day promised and on time, kept me informed of the scope of work and necessary repairs, and performed the work professionally and with great care. I am 100% sure the repairs were done right and absolutely confident in recommending Western Sierra Roofing to others needing roofing services. Thank you Tony, Hector and Jose! read more

If you're looking for a roofer, there's no need to look any further! Western Sierra is incredibly professional and their product is top-notch. We recently had them re-roof our home with a metal roof and we absolutely love it. From the moment they stepped on the property and their foreman introduced himself, to the moment they left and cleaned up everything behind them. It was a pleasure to have them work on our property. They were prompt every morning at 7:30 and when they ended their day between 330 and four everything was cleaned up to the best of their ability in preparation for the next day. Their attention to detail and the personal care that was taken to make sure that our roof looked perfect was impressive! The foreman even shot a movie of the roof so we could see it from a Birds Eye. View! Again, if you are looking for a new roof whether standard or metal do you need not look any further. read more

I've had Western Sierra do a couple of jobs for me over the last few years. They repaired a damaged and leaking roof when a tree branch fell on it -- leak is now fixed. They just completed realigning my roof gutters and installing new leaf screens. It rained this morning, and the runoff drained perfectly. Their prices are reasonable, their workers are considerate and efficient, and it's been an excellent experience overall. (They did take an extra day to complete the job, but this wasn't a problem for me.) I'd certainly use them again for roof or rain gutter work. read more

I worked with Martin Toledo and he was fantastic! The whole crew was great. Martin took the time to understand my needs around preserving the historic details of my home during the tear-off process and working around the fragile one-of-a-kind trim details on my historic home. He checked in often about esthetic choices and coordinated well with the other projects going on during his work. I would happily work with this company again. -N read more

I had contacted this company through yelp and got an immediate response. I had always an issue with one of my gutters overflowing even after cleaning. I could get the best quotes from them for a leaf filter installation and cleaning the gutters. Three of them appeared on the said date and finished the work in an hours time. Western Sierra did a fabulous job repairing our existing gutters & replacing our downspouts, in addition to areas of the roof that required repairs. Thanks to Ruben, Vic, and his team, the gutters will last us another 10-15 years. Ruben was very responsive to addressing our questions. Vic worked with us on-site to ensure areas needing work were to our satisfaction. He did a final inspection walk to ensure all the work was done correctly. We highly recommend Western Sierra. Sierra Western was great to work with and very professional. Response to online query for gutters was very quick via email and followed up by an in person visit the next day. Obvious that these guys have been doing gutters for a long time. I appreciated that I didn't have to replace all my gutters and only had to do a couple sections. They proved a quote quickly and then worked me into the calendar that worked best for me and the other projects I had going on. The guys showed up on time to install. Ruben the site foreman was very nice and he and the team installed the gutters super quick and were in their way. They make all their product in house and for us we got a super long seamless gutter which looks great at the front of our home. Really appreciated the whole experience and would highly recommend working with them. My only regret is that I didn't hire them to do my roof. I wasn't aware of them when doing bids and I am sure they would have done a great job for us. read more

Western Sierra - Portion of the front gutter. - Roofing Near Me - Pacheco, California

The gutter above our front door broke and fell off after heavy rains. The initial installation looked to be structurally ineffective due to water piling up and overflowing on one side and not flowing fast enough to the downspout side. The Western Sierra team was highly responsive through the quoting process and gave me what I felt was a reasonable estimate for the replacement job (your mileage may vary here as my wife's certainly did!) Their guys were arrived promptly and did the job fast. They even answered all my questions addressing the causes for the initial failure. Overall, stellar! read more

During the recent wave of 3 weeks of rain in January of 2023, I discovered on a Monday morning that I had a leak in my clay tile roof that was causing a wet spot in the drywall of our upstairs living room. I checked Yelp and called a number of roofers. I was not able to get in touch with anyone until I called Western Sierra who answered right away. Several hours later they put in a temporary fix for the leak which stopped the leak. After we finally got several dry days in a row about 10 days later, they did permanent repair on that section of the roof which involved replacing some torn roofing paper under the tiles. Great customer service from Tarrah who answers the phone and was very responsive throughout the entire process. Martin assessed the leak and coordinated the work. Price was reasonable. Very happy with the overall experience. read more

Good company solid product... they seem ready to help and were quick to get to my job.

Received an estimate right away. After discussing we decided to go ahead with roof repair and gutter replacement for our home. Ruben and his crew were right on time and accomplished everything in one day. They were very polite and explained everything. The job was well done and my biggest compliment was the clean up afterward. They even skimmed the pool of debris from the roof. Left the yards clean and tidy. Very happy with the whole experience and completely satisfied. read more

My realtor referred me to Tony for a roof inspection when we bought the house. I was impressed with how quickly he arrived. The report was what I expected. He charges for the inspection & the charge cannot be credited towards repairs. I waited perhaps 5 weeks to authorize him to start work. He wasn't priority #1 as there were serious issues to fix first. The rainy season hasn't come yet & I am trying to get ahead of it. I sent him an email saying that I accepted his proposal & also wanted additional work done. No reply. I forwarded my acceptance two more times. No reply. I phoned. No reply. That is 4 times that I was ignored. I had sent a PS that I also was interested in solar panels. He gave a short reply to that. Earlier he had said he does install solar panels. My attitude is if U have to beg him to accept my $2900 + much more (solar), then he is not the one who will fix a problem. I need a consumer friendly contractor who I can depend on. read more

Rain was coming, we were getting a paint job, and I needed a gutter repair NOW. One person I spoke to did not even bother to show up. However, Marshall came out, looked over the job, gave us a reasonable estimate, and scheduled the job before the painters were set to come in. His team showed up on time, did a beautiful job, and even replaced all the gutter guards when they were done. This weekend, heaviest rains in several years washed through and the gutters performed flawlessly. Western Sierra was just what we needed. Thanks, Marshall. You have a good team there! read more

Western Sierra was really great to work with! We had some gutter removal/retrofit including new faceboards. Western Sierra worked the way you wish all contractors would. Professional and proficient. Western Sierra - Roofing Near Me - Pacheco, California

Tony and his team at Western Sierra are top notch. Prior to talking with Tony, my wife and I were exploring traditional shingle roofing. To our dismay, we couldn't find any shingle types or colors that stood out to us. For what we would spend it just didnt seem like we would be happy with what we would get. Additionally we wanted to somehow insulate our vaulted exposed wood ceiling roof. We were approaching a dead end. Luckily we found Tony and Western Sierra and hit two birds with one stone! Our decra tile roof gave our home a distinguished attractive look, while also insulating our roof at an overall lower cost (no need to do a tear and haul). Tony's team managed to schedule us in during one of the busiest times for roofers and get the job done in a matter of a few days. It was quite impressive work. We couldnt be happier with our new roof! read more

Over many years, I've gathered a fair amount of experience with major home remodels, construction, and renovations. Recently, I wanted to re-roof my 2,800 sq. ft. home, insulate the vaulted ceilings from the decking side, and add solar. This was not the simplest job as it involved several complicated issues, and I had some concerns about finding the right contractor who could not only deal with these issues but also with me and my involvement in the project. After interviewing several roofing/solar contractors, I decided to go with Western Sierra in Pacheco. I discussed the design details with Tony and was satisfied that he not only had the experience to deal with my project but also had the necessary attention to detail. The re-roof, insulation, and solar installation was done efficiently and the quality of the work exceeded my demands and expectations. The workers were friendly and polite and Tony kept a careful eye on the progress of the project. I was very satisfied with my experience with Western Sierra and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

I am very disappointed with their service. I had a simple job of replacing the old gutter and reconnecting the existing downspout. They damaged my downspout and connected drain system and didn't fix it I was told that they don't have right materials to fix it. They charged me the full price nevertheless . I am upset that with broken downspout I might have my front yard flooded during the winter. Very unprofessional. Stay away read more

I was having some problems with my gutters leaking and wasn't exactly sure what the problem was. I called and reached Tony who said he'd be able to come out in just a few hours to check. After examining my gutters, it turned out that just a few minor adjustments were needed. I wasn't expecting it, but he performed the work right then. I was really pleased that he not only responded out so quickly but was able to fix the problem the same day. Tony is friendly, knowledgeable and definitely efficient. I was very pleased. We've been customers of theirs since 2006. They installed our gutters and gutter screens originally and I will certainly remain a loyal customer because of actions like the above. read more

I've used Western Sierra in the past at least 4 times personally and have recommended them on several occasions to close friends looking for a roofer/gutter company. I've never had an issue until today. 20 feet of my gutters pulled away from the house - prob because of the wind. Called and i received a call back this morning. I explained that 20ft of my gutter has pulled away from the house and I'd like someone to come and look at it. He asked if Western Sierra installed it. I told him I could not remember; but I've only used WS and have lived here for 15 yrs. The next words out of his mouth were - "WELL, IF WE DIDN'T DO THE INSTALL - THERE'S A $500.00 DOLLAR MINIMUM". Not, lemme look it up and see - let me check it out and I'll get back to you or lets set up a time and see what ya need. It's gonna be $500.00 dollar minimum. Great repeat customer service. Very disappointed. I only use local companies . I called back and complained and was told he was new and the owner would call me later today. That was 9 hrs ago. Customer service goes a long way. read more

Yesterday, our old gutters were removed and new seamless steel gutters with Leaf Blaster screens were installed. Western Sierra was outstanding to deal with, from getting an estimate to final installation. Top-quality materials and workmanship. The installation crew, led by Reuben, worked so efficiently that the entire job was completed in 3-1/2 hours. The work included lifting the roof tiles before removing the old gutters, to facilitate proper gutter installation. The tiles were replaced as the final step. Based on the types of trees near the house, and the lengths of gutters needed, Troy recommended the appropriate materials for the job. A written warranty for labor and materials was provided, and we were invited to call with any questions. read more

We decided to replace our 30 year old corrugated steel roof after having persistent leaks in the winter. Upon calling around for estimates it became clear that very few roofers install steel roofs, and the ones that do often consider it to be a speciality item. That's not the case for Western Sierra which specializes in standing seam metal roofs. Other roofers quoted higher prices with only 26 gauge steel panels. Tony's team used 24 gauge panels that they fabricated on site. New seamless baked enamel gutters were also fabricated on site. The crew did a terrific job over the course of a week - tearing off the old roof, laying fire-resistant waterproof membrane, and then carefully installing the gutters and standing seam roof. They put special attention into the areas where leaks were occurring. The final result looks terrific. If you are interesting in a steel roof you should look no further than Western Sierra. read more

We had a metal roof installed by Western Sierra roofing. It is a simple roof with no complicated crickets or valleys or dormers. It cost us plenty, but we didn't mind because we thought we were getting a good roof and a good installation. That's what their salesman assured us and backed it up with some thick binder full of pictures, supposedly from previous Western Sierra installations. He insisted on getting his commission check on the spot, which he did, and then he was nowhere to be found. The roof was installed, and it has leaked from day one! Tony did show up to "fix" the leak, but most of what he did was caulk gaps and nail holes. The roof kept leaking each and every rainy season, causing damage to our dining table, hardwood floors, and chairs. When we expressed concern that the five-year "warranty" was going to run out and the roof was still leaking, Tony assured us that he would honor the warranty for FIVE years from the date of the last fix. In other words, he is warranting that the roof will be leak-free for a consecutive five-year period. However, when the five-year period ended, Tony bailed. He wouldn't return our calls, and finally wanted to charge us extra to show up. Needless to say, the roof is still leaking and it is nearly impossible to find another contractor willing to take on that responsibility. Tony, come fix your faulty installation. It is still leaking. read more

We bought a house with a metal Decra Tile roof. Although the product lasts for something like 80 years, which is great, it's been hard to find service people to do things like install and maintain gutters, window wash, or even just to retrieve toys that found their way up top. You have to know what you're doing to even walk on the tiles without bending them. When we decided to add sun tunnels to our kitchen, Decra Tile recommended Western Sierra Roofing. Tony Farber, the owner, came out within a couple days of our call and put two sun tunnels in within 3 hours. SUCH a difference they've made! Best of all was Tony's easy attitude and quick service. He is smart, efficient, and friendly. All things I appreciate. We were so impressed by both the work and lightness added that we called back the following month and had him come back to add two more - one in the hallway and one in the laundry room. If it wouldn't make my roof look like bubble wrap, I'd have Tony install them throughout my entire house. Can't say enough about Tony and Western Sierra. The price was good, the service top notch, and my roof is just fine! If we have any roof issues in the future, I know who I'm going to call. I posted this same review on Angie's List Tony Faber the owner come out and gave me a very fair and reasonable quote. He was well within the range of quotes and on the lower end of prices quoted by others you can get by filling out am online form. The equipment he uses are well rated for efficiency and quality. I checked a number of sites. Tony didn't try to oversell. I felt he was fair and presented various options and the pros and cons of each. There was no high pressure tactics like some of the larger players. His crew was excellent. Arrived on time each day and cleaned up the job site at the end of day. Tony kept me informed of progress and next steps. Let me know that during a few really hot days they would come early and have a shorter day which showed me he carried about his crew. An excellent local business that I would have no hesitation in referring to my family and friends to support. read more

Terrible service!! I received a quote at the end of July, the guy was extremely nice and was quick to send it over when he was done with his assessment. Made my appointment for the next available time which was almost a month later which I was okay with and everything seemed to be perfect. The day of my appointment the guys showed up to do the work and 5 minutes after they were there they told me, " my boss will give you a call we are leaving". I get a call and he says I will need to add 125ft of boarder from the roof and it will be about basically $1500 if we round it off so extra to the previous amount which was given to me. You can not show up the day of and be like, "oh yeah it's going to be another $1000+ to what I told you before".
