Good neighborhood coffee, a selection of delicious dishes beyond what you will find in a regular coffee shop. The magic happens in the evenings, the place becomes a temple of music, in our context fine jazz music twice a month. Thanks to these evenings, the place gets a particularly high score.

Egg and cheese with spicy aioli and mocha latte

A fun neighborhood cafe in Roslindale. This spot has a wide array of menu items. There's ample seating and it's generally quiet to get some work done. Particularly, I enjoyed the egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was soft and fresh. I got a side of their secret sauce, which was a little pricey at $1, and was akin to a sriracha/chipotle aioli. It was good but perhaps a little overpriced for a small side. Mocha latte was equally as good, and the store uses their own homemade syrup.

    Breakfast sandwich

Cute and quaint coffee shop/restaurant with delicious bagels. I got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and it was perfect. All the workers were kind and helpful with the big menu. They use mostly compostable products too which is neat. Inside has a lot of seating you'd expect from a morning coffee shop. They have many different coffee options too.

Everything bagel with egg cheese sausage, caramel latte yum!

Came here to try a local cafe and I'm glad I did! I wanted to try a nice caramel latte from here and it was delicious, they come in only small or large and of course I had to get the large which was a decent size. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich with an everything bagel, sausage, egg, and cheese. The bagel was very soft and everything inside melted together nicely. I would definitely come back here again!

Great coffee. Came here when I needed a place to work. Super friendly staff! Haven't tried the food, but everything looks delicious!

Came here on a whim. Good stuff. Friendly staff. Out of sesame bagels so got the Asiago toasted with cream cheese and a latte. Very spacious and clean inside except for a few flies roaming about. Also, free WiFi (RosLov19) what's not to love?! :)

Sweet coffee shop with tasty breakfast sandwiches and bar bites later in the day. They turn into a bar with a solid beer selection.

I had a salad with creamy Italian ( delicious), a great big piece of chicken parm (delicious!) that came with a side of spaghetti. Oh yeah. They also serve you with your meal, Scali bread and butter. The food was served hot! I loved it! It seems like most places serve you warm food these days. The food was all delicious, friendly service and a really nice time. I tried to get a few slices to go, but they only serve their famous pizza as whole pies. The pizza is the star of the show here, but I would say everything was the star. Great food, reasonable prices and a great atmosphere! I'll definitely have to go back there for their pizza. Beware if you are a little bit uh, big or Alan Thicke as the booths are very tight, a bit small and a bit cramped for my liking. It may be because I'm a little bit big( 6'2" 240 lbs.). I get it. This place is your above-average corner quick mart. Three-and-a-half stars might be more appropriate. A bit more spacious, a bit more well lit, and a bit cleaner than one would normally expect - this place starts out above par but add the beer and wine license and it definitely pushes it well above convenience store mediocrity. You won't be wowed by anything in here - there is nothing too unusual or exceptional, however it is large enough to offer a bit of a wider selection. No one is very friendly here however service certainly isn't rude or poor, and while you may be able to count on some cross-eyed looks from Keno patrons, it never extends to the point of feeling uncomfortable. And the prices are pretty much fair market. Yes, your Lean Cuisine and Ben & Jerry's may cost you more than they would at Stop & Shop, but not exorbitantly so. And who expects big-box prices from a corner store? All in all, I am happy to have a place where I can leave my kitchen and be contentedly back there with some last-minute cream for coffee, milk for cereal, or wine for dinner all in under ten minutes and twenty bucks. Better still that it's coming from a clean, safe, small neighborhood business.

The day I went there was a band playing and there was special ticketed event that forced us to leave (no big deal as we had more than enough time). The space is huge, however compartmentalized, and there's plenty of outdoor seating. Because of its warehouse size and no sound proofing when the band was playing it was incredibly loud with tons of reverberation. The mezzanine is adults only which is helpful as it's right next door to an indoor sports facility and there is no shortage of kids here. Pizza was decent, cooked correctly and really hit the spot after a couple of beers. They utilize an "order at the bar and get a text when your food is ready" system. You then go up to the open air kitchen area and get your food. The beers are serviceable by today's standards with the porter being my favorite. The lagers were also pretty good. Like most folks on Yelp I was surprised by the mandatory 20% gratuity (almost $2 per beer). As someone that ordinarily tips 20-25% in a sit down restaurant I'm a little confused as to how in a place where you order at the counter, pick up your own food and bus your own table the 20% is earned? These situations usually get 10% gratuity from me since I'm doing more than 50% of the work.
