Usually 5 star. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Last night they let so many people in tha they were standing everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had butts in our face, the two servers were overwhelmed, and for a while no one was at the door so people just walked in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noisy. Crowded and not fun[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Left after one drink.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was super cool, we came and were blown away at the unique vibe the place has. The theme is fun and the place is nice and intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartenders are super friendly, very cool, enjoyed the little chats we had. The drinks were 5/5 perfect, not to much alcohol, not to sugary. They were really good. Definitely would come back here and recommend everyone to go in and show some support.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how one enters this speakeasy through swinging double doors in the rear of Kilowatt Brewing, to enter a completely different vibe: small, dimly-lit bar, black and neon lighting, cool music and light shows (on the tables, on the walls, on the floors, ... throughout the bar) -- all of which transport you to their wild space theme. There's plenty to look at![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our bartender was great: friendly & personable, fun, attentive, and creative! We went in just for a drink, to be able to see and experience this place; they do offer food, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few seats at the bar top, a few 2-person high-top tables, and (2) 4-person booths; therefore, intended for smaller groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition, due to the music, it's louder than other speakeasy bars we've visited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nonetheless, it was a fun, space-themed speakeasy bar; glad to have seen and experienced it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered and enjoyed: Smoked Old Fashioned, $18 (choice of whiskey, bourbon, mezcal, or rum); Lunar Roja, $17

Had so much fun the last time we went, we brought a new friend along for the fun. Loved it. Always an adventure. The drinks are absolutely one of a kind. The food is all a bit microwaveable, which is exactly what the staff will tell you, so it's really meant to be a bar. A must stop in if you are near. Just a super fun time.

A go-to speakeasy! My friend and I came here on a whim on a weekday night and we were able to walk in and order right away. On Thursday-Sunday nights I would definitely suggest making reservations ahead of time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved walking through the doors and immediately being immersed in the space pad. Vibes are great too since they have great playlists, food, drinks, and light shows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Honestly they killed it with the decor and light shows to specific songs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really great for 2-4 people in a party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender was also our server and honestly he was really on it and welcoming too. It felt that as soon as we ordered our drinks and apps, they were already coming to our table. We started out with the poke tapas and the poke was fresh and just delightfully marinated. The rice was fluffy and the tortilla chips paired perfectly with all of the above. My friend ordered the Beam Me Up and I ordered the That's No Moon. Her drink was really good and decently sweet with some fun gelatin goodies on top. I loved my drink as it was a perfect balance of lightly sweet but refreshing. The lime whiskey and lychee were such great compliments to each other in this drink. We also were given some Jell-O shots, since we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, which was such a nice treat! Would go back for the energy of the bar and drinks alone. Looking forward to trying so many of their drinks!

This speakeasy is awesome!! First time here. The drinks are amazing. Strong and tasty. The bartenders are awesome, the vibes are amazing. Feels like outer space in here. Small, but great vibes. This place has awesome music and drinks! We love Oceanside!

We came here after Korean barbecue since we went to catch up a little bit with some old friends from Boston and this place was awesome! Just know that you have to walk all the way to the back right where all the shiny walls are past the little brewery with the games everywhere Inside is kind of small so you definitely wanna come early. I love the whole space theme and fun little Nams and bubbly drinks they had. I ended up getting some kind of mystery hot honey shot and it was cool! I forgot the other 3 drinks we had but they were all delicious. I always recommend sitting at the bar if you can so that you can ask the bartenders questions and observe how they make drinks. There are some big tables for our parties of 4 to 6 but a lot of small tables of two as well. Can't wait to come back if I'm in Oceanside!

Bahahahhaha. Oh hellz. I saw this on tiktok and it was everything you could imagine. Went early since we had other commitments later that night. Warmly greeted by the female bartender who was also our server. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Funtastic space theme. Neon lights. Cool tracks. Sound effects. You name it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Intriguing menu focusing on kahlua pork, poke and teriyaki items. We opted for the sliders, tacos and poke stack. Food service was a tad slow but we were informed it was a small kitchen. Food tasted delicious. Great drink variety. Located in the back of the bar/brewery in front. Keep walking down mirrored hallway. Street parking. Would come back. Good vibes. This place was outta this world!

This is a really fun spot to go if you're just wanting to grab a quick drink and play games with your friends I didn't stay here long and I only popped in because it started raining at the other restaurant I was at so my party moved to this spot and we played games and they have a lot of fun activities The service is good, but I did not try any of the food if they had any, I'll be coming back

Great place in Oceanside to get a drink. The ambiance is techie, with lots of lights and music. The service was great and it offers a variety of interesting cocktails. It's a small place, so making reservations is suggested

    Even the table looks cool

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fun and different speak easy. As the name indicates, it's a space theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It has delicious space cocktails theme. Their cracking chicharobes is very addicting, especially when you are sipping on drinks. I recommend That's no moon, shooting star, astra mars, and pannikini espresso martini. They only have 1 bartender, when we went on a Thursday's night. However, he was able to keep up with the orders and made wonderful recommendations.

Took a friend here for a birthday surprise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was super a super cool vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cocktails are a little pricey but you're getting an out of this world experience. Suggest spending at least an hour for the full experience.

An absolute must-visit for any space enthusiast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is stellar[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the drinks are creative and delicious, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere is just plain fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Feels like stepping into another galaxy right in the heart of Oceanside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They had fantastic bartenders and menu, but the speakeasy concept has been outdated for a while. Now, a Honky Tonk is a very different, good thing. The tunes are something North County has been wanting, but been missing in favor of larger venue DJ's, but the juke box here has been curated with classics. It's far too small to dance unless you're slow or maybe 2 stepping in the corner. The ambiance is dim, relaxed, fun. The drinks are just as good as some of the top bars around, helmed by Wyatt who you may remember from Switchboard and KNVS is a staple in Oceanside. Prices are excellent, staff is great. While you can get a cocktail here, you don't have to. A classic shot and a beer is just as likely to be had here as a stemmed glass proper cocktail. When it's jamming it is near a standing room all the way around. No doorman asking for a password, no re-entry on nights when Heritage are open (Monday is this exception). It's funny to watch South O locals wander in here and realize maybe it's time to stop trying to change places to be like other places and enjoy the experience shown.

Cheaply done from the tables to decor and even though we went on a Saturday night the place was slow. Music was also good, but the DJ stopped playing about 20 min after we'd gotten there. That was a bummer. One round and we moved on.

My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.
