The bruschetta was basically toast... except it wasn't even toasted. ‍ The drinks were just okay and definitely didn't feel like a great value for the price. The ambiance is dark and decorated with red accents and booths. You can opt to get a couch for bigger parties. They have lamps on the table and you change the light to let your server know you need them. They copycat the Improv on two items minimum per person. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. The Henny-Rita cocktail is delicious and I could actually taste the Hennessy. Bottles of water are priced decently. My server he was polite and friendly. Sometimes I feel these places can nickel and dime you. They automatically had gratuity to your bill. Please NOTE: The bands tend to start late. Overall if you want to hear some good music and be entertained. Then this a great place to start the night. The crowd does change from grown and sexy to young and fun. I will return and come back a few times a year for live music performances. I give them a 3.5 for the whole vibe and visit. Since I can't give them a half star. I will push it to a 4 star. My drink was good, service pretty good and music was great.

I went to Vidorra last night for a birthday celebration. The ambiance and decor are definitely…read moreimpressive, but my experience was a mix of highlights and a few drawbacks. The Highlights: -Atmosphere & Seating: It was a lovely evening, so we chose to sit outside on the patio, which had a great energy for a birthday setup. -Service: Salma was our waitress and she was super attentive! Saturday nights are clearly bustling, so as the evening went on, drinks took longer to come out, but I really appreciated her hustle and efforts to keep up with all her tables. -Shrimp Fajita Salad: The shrimp were large, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. While the salad portion itself felt a bit small, the quality of the vegetables and shrimp made up for it. Where They Fell Short: -The Waiting Area: Inside, the air conditioning vents were dripping noticeable condensation. I pointed it out to the hostess, but it didn't seem to be a concern for them. Dodging ceiling drips while waiting wasn't a great start to the night. -Food & Drinks: I ordered a frozen margarita, but by the time it arrived, it was already half-melted--either left sitting at the bar too long or blended with too much liquid. My friend got the queso dip, which had a fun and unique presentation, but the texture was way too runny for my taste. Pro-Tips Before You Go: -Reservations are a must: If you don't book ahead, expect a wait time of an hour or more. -Parking: Finding a spot can be nearly impossible--the lot was completely full when I arrived, so budget extra time to find parking. -Budget: Keep in mind that Vidorra is on the pricier side.

We were met by the most pleasant hostess who led us to our booth in the dining room. The decor is breathtaking and simply classy. From our table, the kitchen was in view. A few moments later, our waiter Sam arrived. He was very nice and knowledgeable; offering more insight into a dishes we asked about. We decided to start with the spicy tuna carpaccio and cornmeal dusted oysters. We accompanied our starters with a Lemon Dropped and glass of Sancerre. For entrees, the filet and Creste de Gallo. Everything was perfection; full of flavor and fresh. We closed out the evening with a complimentary pistachio gelato which was delicious! So disappointed they dropped the fried green tomatoes from the menu. Prices are reasonable, especially for spirits and beer. We started with the chicken fried quail tenders, which had a fantastic dipping sauce with them. For entrées, we had the New York strip chicken fried steak and the steak frites. I wasn't crazy about the chicken fried steak as it was a ton of batter and a very thin, thin piece of steak inside. I don't think I would order it again. The mashed potatoes and green beans and jalapeño gravy were very good though. My friend enjoyed the steak frites.

The day I visited it was calm and quiet. Service was good no complaints. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Food was pretty good. I would probably order wings and pizza next time. Seems better for bar type food. However, I had to try the lobster garlic noodles my friend recommended and raved about. These noodles definitely have potential. I love the strong garlic flavor. I appreciated the big chunks of lobster. The mushrooms were a perfect addition. I just wished for another flavor with the garlic. Like some sweet chili sauce for a little bit of sweetness and spice would be a game changer. I will say the next day when I heated up my leftovers the flavor was even better. I still think it could use a little heat and splash of sweetness. The presentation was good and the food looked appetizing. The dessert wasn't bad decent for a sports bar. I enjoyed the presentation. The ice cream was delicious and the cake was ok. The pink dragon was tasty and once again I liked the presentation. It was a good cocktail choice on the menu. Overall for my first visit it was a good experience. I would give it a 3.5 for the experience. I wish Yelp had half stars. I will visit again soon to see as my feelings are mixed.
