Ehh. Pretty bland and plain. Small portions. Very middle of the road food. Although the fries were kind of addictive. Probably won't be coming back. read more

The Food was absolutely amazing. All of the employees were so friendly. Shannon and Zack were so kind and showed so much positive attitude.

Right next to CU campus. Good food. Fun "divey" vibe. I had the Reuben and it was very good. Friend's pizza was "ok". read more

We were hesitant to try The Sink due to the mixed reviews, but decided to give it a shot since it is next door to The Fox and we had a show we were going to see that night. We were pleasantly surprised - the service was good and the food was good. It wasn't anything out of this world, but it was good. We had the jalapeno poppers to start, and that was probably the worst part of the whole experience. They weren't bad, they just weren't that good - I wouldn't order them again. For dinner, two of us had the Cowboy Reuben (I'm a sucker for anything with brisket) and the other three in our party had pizza. All of the food came out at the right temperature, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The server was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. Everyone in our party enjoyed looking at the "graffiti" all over the walls and chatting up the server about all of the celebrities who have hit The Sink. We'll probably be back next time we have a show at The Fox. read more

This is probably the best college bar in all of boulder. The food was amazing and I loved the POTUS Pizza especially. My entire family loved the place. Thank you for making my family,s vacation great again read more

Thank you to the crew at The Sink for outstanding take away food and appreciate their efforts during the COVID 19 crisis. The food was fresh, well packaged, and on time. Be safe and let's keep supporting local food stores like this one until this is over. read more

I absolutely love the sink! Every time I make my way over to boulder, I always make sure to stop. Their burgers are always so delicious and juicy. read more

With an atmosphere like no other the Sink is a great place to stop by and try their world famous burgers. Arguably the best in boulder! We decided to try some other items on the menu like the diablo wings. The diablo wings had exceptional flavor but lacked the desired heat one think they would have. The cowboy Reuben consisted of phenomenal flavor and crunch the sandwich needed there is no wonder Guy Fieri enjoyed his taste as well. Finally, the Freshie pizza consisted of very fresh ingredients as one might believe. To top it off the balsamic reduction left us blown away as we were thirsting for more. Unfortunately like most restaurants in Boulder the pizza was a tad doughy as if not cooked through entirely. Lastly, the Sink is a tad pricey for bar food and drinks unless you attend during happy hour or during the Sinks famous flip night! All in all great atmosphere and great food lead to a great time! read more

The food is great and it is a great place to hang. That being said, the ceilings are LOW and it can get really hot. So, if you get at all claustrophobic, you might not last too long in this place! read more

I have been to the Sink multiple times with family and friends, every monday and tuesday. I usually enjoy my time here as it's a great environment and fair prices. However tonight has completely changed my view, the blonde bartender Lauren was extremely rude. I have never before experienced customer service like this and I refuse to go back, I will also tell fellow peers and my student friends not to return to the Sink. Lauren is the worst and I hope no one else has to experience customer service like this. However the manager Cassidy was extremely sweet and helpful, as to why I'm giving this establishment one star. Cassidy gives me hope for this establishment but I, nor all my friends, will return until servers like Lauren are prohibited from working from establishments like this. read more

Typical college dive bar. Only reason we stopped in here is because we were very hungry from hiking the Flatirons and the place we were heading to was closed for the Labor Day holiday. The service was good, but got the feeling we really didn't fit-in. The waitress was nice enough, and proficient, yet never smiled. I don't think she likes us! Nevertheless she was good. The Sink was somewhat busy but probably because students were returning from summer break: this being, as I had said, a college location. What do students know anyway? But for EVERYTHING! Ha! Food was ok! Nothing to write home about; only to 'Yelp' about. I however, being a self-proclaimed history buff, liked the legacies of this place. Nice little briefing on the menu; I'm sure the president appreciated. (well, maybe not, I'm sure he had enough on his plate already) read more

The Sink - Yup: typical bar food! - Pizza Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

The Sink. One of Boulder's famous spots. Robert Redford mopped the floors, and even short people feel claustrophobic. This restaurant is known for the sink burger and delectable pizza. I am a fan of both. The food is fabulous if you are in the mood for traditional American bar food. The art on the walls is mesmerizing. An entire restaurant of cartoon murals. Amazing. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes the service is a bit lackluster, but hey, I get it. It's a college town. So, weather you are in the mood for bizarre murals (in the best way possible), a scrumptious burger, or a pre-game beer stop by. Check it out. Sign the ceiling. read more

I haven't been in Boulder long, but this place seems like a boulder institution. Good burgers and fries at this place, and the hand painted artwork on the walls is nice enough to look at while you munch. Cool old photos from what looks like the 80's/90's all over the place. Decent food and a good vibe, I like it! read more

Cool atmosphere. Great food! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries . We also got the burgers, Reuben, & buffalo Mac & cheese. All very good. read more

had the best server charlotte today! fast service and great attitude. will be back again!!!

Came in on a recommendation from my husband based on a Food Network show he watched. I should start with - the food was great. Highly recommend the cowboy rueben. That being said. After our first visit we were left with a bad taste in our mouth due to the friendly though extremely slow service. After getting our food we waited 45 min for a refill & our check. It was a slowish lunch on a weekday. Second time it was a busier dinner. I couldn't tell you who our server was...we didn't have anyone talk to us for about 15-20 minutes. Then a friendly girl took our order (an appetizer, kids meal, and 2 entrees)..a different server, this time a guy brought us our 2 entrees with no sign of our appetizer or kids meal. Weird and uncomfortable service situation. Not worth the $50. Definitely won't be back & wouldn't recommend. read more

Lance D. was completely right. The Sink as a restaurant and as a bar are two completely different entities. As a CU student, I didn't visit the Sink for the first time until the summer before my senior year. After my first Sinkburger with cheese, it took a lot of willpower not to come back daily. The pizza was pretty good. The location across from campus makes it the perfect way to kill some time between classes. The prices are good (burger and fries for under $10), and the building is rich with atmosphere. The old CO newspapers under the glass on the tables and murals on the walls make the Sink almost feel like a museum covering the past century of Boulder and CU. As a bar, it's not spectacular, but still worth checking out. The service at the bar tends to be slow, but I may just be bitter because I never win at flip night. But I'll always remember the 6am graduation morning drinking here. If you haven't been to the Sink, you haven't been to Boulder. read more

First timer at this place with a need to find a place where out of town family with small kids could go and not a chain restaurant. Looked at the reviews and decided on The Sink. Great choice as they accommodated us and our needs. Menu had enough of a variety for everyone. Lamb Philly, Ruben, Salmon Tacos and The POTUS pizza for me. But not because he ordered it. All was great including the service. I will have to go back to start on the rest of the menu. Out of Town family thought it was great also. read more

I love when you first walk in as it reminds me of going over to a good friends house for a party in the basement! After that initial thought, the menu tempts you with very pleasing choices from burgers to whole wheat crust pizza which I love! read more

Fun place but the quality of the food has gone down from mediocre pub fare to difficult to eat. Embarrassing really. Let's hope for new management soon. read more

This is always my favorite place to eat when I get up to Boulder. Always a great atmosphere. Always have something different on tap. The last time I went they had Mama's Little Yella Pils, I was in heaven. I always get the pizza, but I have tried other items and the other food is not nearly as good as the pizza. I recommend this place to anyone coming in from out of town, or in town. read more

Food was amazing as alway. Service was well below average. Server had an attitude and after leaving a 15% tip she went out of her way to follow us out to tell us with a sarcastic tone "thanks for the generosity". Just left a bad taste in our mouth. read more

Horrible, slow service! Came here with a party of 8 starving folks on a Thursday afternoon. The place was fairly empty. Somehow it took them 15 minutes to take our drink order, another 25 minutes to bring our drinks, another 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 40 minutes to get our food. With two little kids., it took forever. It also took a lifetime to get our drinks refilled! We had to rush eating our meal since our parking limit was only two hrs! When we got back to our car we only had two minutes left- we were in there for two hrs with only 20 minutes of eating time! Food was mediocre..everyone ordered burgers...kind of greasy but it was ok. I ordered the DDD burger . read more

Although it is a FuNkY old time college bar, their management attitude sucks. We came in, it took a while to get someone to help us. The food was average and when we made a suggestion they acted like they didn't care about what we thought. I thought I would give it a try for old time sake, don't waste your time. I won't be back! read more

Was going to give 2 stars because the food didn't get me sick and I left not hungry. However, the pizza is average, even by colorado standards, the burger was not doing it for me and our fires were cold. If I could give 0 stars to the ownership I would. No living up to the mistakes or even acknowledging that aspects of the experience were not so great. On top of that the owners I spoke to seemed arrogant, cocky, and entitled, as well as stoned. Have a feeling this was a restaurant that was handed down generationally by family/ parents.. not the owners hard work. Establishment gives off a vibe of underachieving and just not caring enough. read more

Fact: if you go to Boulder, you need to go to the Sink. The Sink is a Boulder landmark, and I've never met anyone who says they hate the Sink. The funny thing is, the food isn't that good, but the atmosphere is what makes you want to come back again and again. The ceiling is low and covered with signatures of past patrons, the walls are painted with unique art, and there's a fun, Boulder feeling in the air. The food is always hit or miss. Sometimes it will be good, other times it's gross. One thing that is always good is the french fries. Besides that, it's a gamble. If you're ever in Boulder, make sure you check out this Boulder institution. read more

The wall murals and signatures of President Obama and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host Guy Fieri make for a one of a kind atmosphere. Its a rare thing for me to get through a day without thinking of their nachos... so good. read more

Oh, my! The hamburger! We were starving after hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park all day and craving a great hamburger. The Sink delivered! Homemade pickles give it just the right je ne sais quois. Great beer menu and yummy spicy fries. The fun graffiti on the walls and ceiling and not-too-loud music make this the perfect spot for that perfect hamburger. Go. read more

The divey, schizophrenic feel of The Sink definitely makes an impression. I liked the exposed pipes and scribble-scrabble art. The food wasn't that great, though. I had a calzone the first time around, which was dry and bland, and more recently a seasonal summer salad with strawberries, which was fairly decent but way overpriced considering they totally skimped on the fruit. read more

Chose The Sink based on a recommendation from a local merchant and its proximity to CU and the Shakespeare Theater - walking distance. We ordered salads and a burger and the simple salad turned out to be the best part of the meal. The Sink claims to be known for its great burgers but ours were very bland, over cooked for "medium" doneness and thus dry. Your experience may be better but for me the hype was much ado about nothing. read more

I attended school in Boulder many years ago and remembered this place as having fantastic pizza... so when I was back in the area I had to stop by for lunch. I shared a pizza with my daughter - the POTUS pizza, renamed when Obamacare ordered it. The crust was thick and tasted good with honey (a Colorado thing, I was told), and the toppings, cheese and sauce were presented in a good ratio. My daughter ordered the giant cookie for dessert, which was served warm and gooey with ice cream. It was thin and crisp, served piping hot. Definitely better than most "pizzokies" I've had. read more

Absolutely fabulous!!! We went there expecting a descent experience and were so overwhelmed with the place. Good food, good service, good prices, and a good cross-section of customers. read more

We visited here during our recent visit ot Boulder for a football game. Really great burgers! I had the BBQ/Onion Ring burger, that every gourmet burger joint I have ever been in does. But The Sink does it really well! The homemade pickles (which looked like cucumbers) were especially great. The fries were standard, but good. The homemade coleslaw was excellent. And the wide variety of beers, especially those from local brewery Avery, were the perfect drink to wash it all down with. Wait, I forgot the smoked jalapenos! Cut in half, stuffed with spiced cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and then smoked and grilled! Delicious! read more

Super cool environment but the food is just alright. But their fried Mac and cheese is very good! If I went back, I would probably just get that because I haven't really liked anything else. They have interesting burgers but I would never call them the best. Service is okay but doesn't feel very kind or personable. read more

YUM! I am a huge fan of the sink. I always bring my parents here when they come to Boulder to visit, and they love it too. They have such great burgers, and their sandwiches are great too. The service is usually alright, I've had great and not so great experiences. Their fries are yummy too, and if you feel like being 'bad', order their deep fried macaroni and cheese bites, they sound like a cheesy heart attack in bite sized pieces.. which they probably are, but definitely worth a try! read more

Awesome bar food! The weather was nice so we ate outside. Once we got our food they somewhat forgot about us, but with all of the people watching, we weren't too mad. It is a bit more expensive than most bars; however, the quality is a bump up to match. I had the Buff Mac which was mM mM good! It's was the food your really want when you haven't eaten much and want to stuff your face (which from the looks of them, most people in this town don't do often). The burgers and sandwiches looked very appetizing, so I will be coming back. read more

After spending 25$ on a Reuben sandwich, fries, and a coke delivered... (Yes, I gave a $7 tip!), I completely and utterly regret selecting The Sink. First, they did not provide napkins or ketchup for the fries (even though it is clearly marked they were delivering to a business - think people!). But worse than this, was the taste of the sandwich... it was the worst food item I've ever tasted in my entire life. I took one nibble and almost threw up. I knew something was off due to the strange smell, but once I took a bite, I knew something was wrong with it. I think they left their beef out and it went bad. I've never eaten here before, and I am extremely disappointed, in the service and the quality of the food. read more

This place gets a bit to much love for what its worth. The inside is about as unique as it gets and I love all the artwork and history, but for the cost, the food quality and service isn't worth it. Obama, you could have done better... with regards to restaurant choice :) read more

the first few times i wanted to order from the sink, my order was lost. because of this, i hadnt made an effort to order from them in like a year- buuuut today, i really wanted a burger that wasnt from thunderbird. i got a grass-fed bacon cheeseburger (medium) with onion rings and a soda. the burger was pretty good. it tasted like the oldschool burgers from chilis (like early 90s), and was decently juicy despite having been delivered. i have no doubt it would have been warmer and whatnot if i ate in-house, but thats an obvious risk you take when getting delivery. their onion rings are the thickly battered kind- not breaded or flaky. im not a complete fan of this type of batter, but they were still decent. id eat them again. my only complaint is that the pricing i got on hungrybuffs.com was different from my final total. you had to have a $15.00 minimum delivery, so i ordered a second soda, opted for a better meat, and added bacon. when the dude called to confirm the order, it was nearly five dollars more expensive. honestly, if my parents were not paying for my food up here, i dont think i would have ordered a $20.00 burger, you know? im sure ill eat at the sink again. probably not alone, since $20 + $5tip is really steep for ONE PERSON, but if i had company and wanted to get a sandwich or something, id be down. read more

Go for the experience... not for the food. I had a great time trying to read all the fun writing on the wall. They also have table-side trivia which is a great distraction while you wait. The food was ok... the pizza crust was probably the best. read more
