I don't think I've ever had a bad experience or food here at the Shed. I finally tried their fish sandwich, recommended by my daughter and it was amazing!! They give 2 filets, so that sandwich was huge. I ended up taking one out and eating the other for dinner later. I have no complaints, cheers to the chef. I dine in because I was on a lunch break but I have before and it's a nice place to dine. Now that my job is closer, they may see me more ordering for lunch.

Shed Bowl with steak and feta cheese

We came on a Thursday night for a party of two. They said a 15-20 minute wait but we were seated in 5! I got the salmon on a bed of corn, peas, shallots and spinach with a honey mustard vinaigrette My friend got the shed bowl with steak and replaced goat cheese with feta cheese I absolutely love the salmon entree at The Shed because they ask how you like it cooked. I always prefer this because if it's anything over medium, it feels overcooked and dry to me. I won't get salmon anywhere else! My waiter suggested putting the sauce on the side, which I appreciated that suggestion. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp on top. The shallots in the bed of vegetables were a tiny bit undercooked, which made them a little bit onion spicy. It was a little overpowering. Overall, a great dinner!

Very few places have I ever seen serve deviled eggs. I must say while these were soft and flavorful they were not ones that stand out above the rest. Though don't get me wrong the rest of the food was impressive! Steakhouse burger - cooked to the perfect temperature requested and construction of the burger executed immaculately! Not a thing was misplaced. Nothing overflowing or missing. The blue cheese was a nice thin layer giving the burger a great little funk. The house steak sauce could have been more pronounced but the crispy onion really brought it together. The bowl, surprisingly large! Great amount of all elements. Got the dressing on the side, 2 nice sized cups and was able to dress it to perfection. Value for the money is there. Flavor is there. Staff were polite and professional. Hats off to the chefs. This is my new go to. Next time trying the breakfast

Tropical Cooler & The Shed Lemonade

We were gifted a gift card to go to one of the Shed restaurants when we were living in Long Island two years ago. Back then, we couldn't take out the time to go. Since we were in the island for a friend's wedding; we decided it was the perfect time to have Brunch and use our gift card before heading home. Plainview just happens to be the closest one on our route back. They do not take reservation, but lucky for us the wait time was not long. It took us less than 10 mins to get a table. Very friendly staff, and we noticed it is a go to Sunday Brunch spot due to the line when we were done. Everything that we got was extremely delicious. Imagine... I cannot have spicy food due to my low tolerance but this wings were "worth eating them." Our sever Steph recommended my drink "The tropical Cooler" which I appreciate, since it was delicious, loved the taste of the passion fruit on this drink. The dishes are a little pricey but the quality of the food deserves it. We enjoyed our time and brunch here, and we definitely will be back in the future God willing.

First time here, the ambience and food was what drew us to eat here. The Shed is located in a new modern designed shopping plaza. The inside is clean, bright and modern with a feel good atmosphere to hang out and enjoy food. The workers were pleasant and polite. The food itself was outstanding. The waffles were probably one of the best flavored waffles I've had. Chicken was good but possibly dark meat would have been juicier. The fact they gave our table a full bottle of real maple syrup at no charge was a WIN. Great place, if we're ever back we'd come back!

The Shed is a great spot for brunch. They have one of the best French toasts. You have to get Shed sauce with everything. Lovely spot for a group and to enjoy sitting outside when it's nice out.

Really nice experience at The Shed in Plainview for lunch today. Sarah is a charm worth keeping. She has been working there 4 years and started as hostess , now manager. We found her knowledgeable about the liquors, food and dessert selections. We sat at the comfy bar; as table's would be 45 minute wait. The food was good as well as dessert. Took an order of sweet potato soup to go - for later. Enjoyed the visit.

Fried pickles, Steak House Burger, Sweet Potato Fries

You come for the ambiance, not really for the food. It's a great place to have brunch with your girlfriends. The question I've had the two times I ate here with my friends: where is the salt and where is the flavor? I let my waiter know the last time I was there that they should use salt in their food to elevate the flavor. He really didn't care what I had to say. I highly doubt I'll be the one suggesting to eat here again. In my honest opinion, the food is overpriced for what they have served. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, chicken Caesar salad, steakhouse burger, fried pickles, fried calamari, breakfast bowl, and sweet potato fries. The fried pickles were the worst.

It's a good place for brunch, trendy, nice interior, has outdoor seating (saw some blankets which is nice for colder weather) but I don't think it's worth the hype. More likely than not, there will be a wait. While there's a decent amount of tables not nearly enough for the amount of people coming to dine, reservations, no joining the waitlist early. I feel like if you were allowed to join a waitlist in advance it'd be nice. But you're willing to wait for average brunch food then you'll prob like this place. The food is good but nothing I go home thinking about. Fried chicken sandwich 4/5, Cobb salad 3.5/5, tomato soup 4/5 Best to go in small group if at all, 2 people would be ideal. Sit at bar if there are seats open! Plenty of parking outside, located in a shopping center

Food here is consistently amazing. I tried their biscuits and they were soooooo good! I also tried something new on my last trip here and got the eggs in the garden and loved it. It was so fresh! This place is always packed for get here early. The service is great and fast and always so clean here! They also have the BEST espresso martinis. The rim was such a great touch!

I finally made my way to The Shed after hearing alot of good things about this place from other people. Very cute spot - I love how they have all day everyday breakfast, lunch (brunch) and dinner. It gave me the opportunity to try their chicken and waffles on a Tuesday afternoon. Quite enjoyable, good size portion too! I will be back to try other menu items soon.

Food was amazing and we were able to dine with our pooch. It rained earlier in the morning but when we arrived it was clear and dined outside and it was so nice.

Had the beet bowl, chicken & waffles, and smoke burger. Beet bowl was SOOOO delicious that I make my version at home since then. No other salad will do. Chicken & waffles is delicious esp that sauce. The smoke burger was a bit dry. I understand the taste profile they were aiming but it wasn't a hit. The waiter was attentive in the midst of dealing with a busy lunch. Very clean and cute decor. Went as a lunch date with mom who's a bit of a picky eater and she enjoyed the salad and waffles the most. Will be going back for sure.

A really intimate place, with probably like 15 tables max inside, and a little bar that can sit also about the same amount of people, but still looks new and fresh, and also be on the lookout because when you're driving the place sneaks up on you. The friendliest service, Lauren who seated us and served us was truly genuine, and I told her I really appreciate that as most restaurants don't have that sense of personal customer service, actually noticeable and appreciated. The food was also really good, the dip was flavorful, could be a little warmer but still very good, the chips were next level, and this was a huge hit. The calamari was lightly breaded, and also I do appreciate the two sauces to choose from when dipping, either Kung Pao or Marinara. I got the Pastrami Rub Tuna over Scallion Mash, and when I first looked at it I thought the fish piece was a bit small, but after eating it, it was the perfect size, and the mash was delicious, and the Wasabi Sauce to dip the fish really made the dish Pop. Drinks were okay, started with a kick and boozy but finished a bit watery for my first one, the second one I had with Mescal was a 10/10 though. This place needs attention, and the fact that it is still pretty low key and food influencers haven't descended to blow up it's spot is awesome.

I'm sure glad we chose to come here. Since I'm perpetually early, I went to have a beer at the bar while waiting and had a chance to peruse the happy hour menu. Lots of good stuff here including many beers and cocktails. This menu is available until 6 pm during the week. Bartender was a doll and gave me the skinny on all her favorites for both the happy hour and regular menus. Bar seats maybe 15 people and a tv above will keep a solo flyer busy for a bit. Once my buddy arrived, we were seated in the dining room toward the back. A great space able to seat many patrons. Larger groups can easily be accommodated. Our server Zack was awesome and came by just often enough. He also did a great job spacing out our courses so as not to overload our table. We started with soup and then had one of the starts of the evening- sliced seared tuna. This was a reco from the earlier mentioned bartender and it was a super home run. So were the Bang Bang Tacos. ( another reco from our great bartender food guru.) My friend said his salmon was good but not great and I had a burger that Zack recommended. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious, this was an incredible burger and I could have taken at least half home. I didn't because it was so good and I felt stuffed when it was finished. We didn't stop there though - the dessert menu looked awesome and I wasn't going to miss it. Coffee and snifter of Chambord matched with the cinnamon apple explosion was the "icing on the cake" Great meal and service. Will definitely come back and the sooner the better.

At first I was somewhat bummed we missed the DJ night on Friday and Sunday brunch but one of the coworkers said "you came on a good day, Achilleas is your waiter." I didn't know that meant much at the time but Achilleas absolutely did not disappoint. He brought humor, laughs and our food, what was not to love? He continued to impress us from remembering our whole party's names, orders and all small facts about each individual one of us. He kept us laughing so hard that even my friend suggested they advertise "Achilleas Night" on the front door. If you're curious, follow his instagram @theothersideofgreece - him and his wife have their own travel company. Now to talk about the amazing food... to begin, if you didn't order the French Toast Sticks for an appetizer, YA DONE MESSED UPPP!! Go back, and order two of them, maybe three (it's 6 huge pieces each - not the time to count calories) ! I don't do French toast but I'd never go against the crew and I'm glad I didn't pick this day to waver. They were perfectly sweet, crunchy, warm & doughy . Then just when I thought we were done, Achilleas slides out with two complimentary desserts, one for me (birthday) and another for my two friends that had a big engagement that we are still celebrating! The complimentary cake was surprisingly delicious. It was vanilla birthday cake served warm with a scoop of ice cream, sprinkles and whip cream and my mouth is still watering over it. Needless to say, we're all looking for reasons to get together on an Achilleas night again.
