This is a great place to meet up with friends for brunch or lunch. Staff is friendly but during lunchtime it gets loud so do not go to have an intimate conversation . Service was good and they do not rush you. I have ate at the Westbury, Plainview and Sayville locations. The parking can be a bit of a challenge at the Plainview location. Try the Bloody Mary. I was not a fan of the garnish on top.

Sheggwhich, so gooooood!!

Absolutely recommend this spot! Perfect for breakfast, lunch, all things brunch!!! Great service, great food and great ambiance. Clean bathroom - which is very important. I really enjoyed their iced latte as well. One of my favorite things was the option to eat outside. It's great because you can always walk towards the back where there's a putting green & corn hole to play.

I cannot believe that I never wrote a review for this restaurant. This is my go-to brunch spot. However, I love their lunch and dinner too.The food is always delicious, the drinks are refreshing. The presentation of the food, the atmosphere, and the service are exactly what I am looking for, for a relaxing brunch, lunch, or dinner. The prices aren't outrageous either. I have had almost everything on the menu, and am consistently happy with my dishes. My ultimate favorite is the shed bowl. I ordered that this time around with my friend. She ordered the shegg sandwhich and really enjoyed it. The only downside side is that they don't take reservations unless you are a larger party. Thankfully, we were able to get a seat at the bar right away. Will be running back.

The Shed is one of my favorite go to places for good fresh food! I love the rustic farm style the restaurant gives off and how nice staff always are. Knowing everything is made fresh and in house down to the condiments is very refreshing! Always a pleasure dining here

Arrived on a Saturday morning in the summer around 10:30am and it was pretty busy, but there were a lot of tables outside, so I was able to get seated immediately. It's honestly really nice sitting outside, and the tables are more spaced out. I also like that there's a putting green in the back, which is a cute activity to do after your meal. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. I got the pancakes and added berries ($1.50) as well as a side of fries which were delicious and crispy. The portions here are huge, so we got to take home leftovers. The bathrooms are also clean (ladies room had two stalls) and the servers are nice. I would def return!

Perfectly poached! Always a sign of good food!

I very rarely give five stars on yelp. This place deserves it because I find it to be a consistently good 360 degree experience. I have brought family and friends here and everyone always enjoys the food and beverages. You are greeted by impeccably dressed and friendly staff with an atmosphere that matches. There are indoor and outdoor seating options and even blankets to purchase if you're cold. The food is always consistently delicious. I enjoy the Belgian Waffle with fruit and it was so good. Served with warm maple syrup it's always a crowd pleaser. The roast beef dip is great and the biscuit Benedict was so amazingly flavorful. The cake taker tho was the Lobster Roll! I prefer mine Connecticut style with warm butter. There was so much lobster I was stuffed and the roll was buttery and toasted to perfection. I would eat this every day. The drinks are well executed and even the coffee was great. The only downfall is that they don't take reservations. They have text system though so you can put your name on the list and take a way around the shoppes in the complex. It can get a bit busy especially on weekends so a wait is possible but worth it! Go, no run to try The Shed!

Great brunch spot with a cute outdoor dining area. The steak burger came with delicious crunchy onions and I ordered sweet potato fries for the table that were crispy and fantastic. Although I didn't try the drinks, they looked delicious

We had a very short wait time to be seated. Servers were very attentive, food came out fast and was delicious.

I stopped by "The Shed" for lunch and ordered the steak burger, a side of fries, and a hot cup of coffee. The meal was absolutely great: the steak burger was juicy and full of flavor, the fries were crispy, and the coffee was freshly brewed. To top it off, the service was wonderfully attentive and welcoming. The only minor drawback is the tight parking situation, but the outstanding food and hospitality make it well worth the effort.

When I arrived there was a 20-25 minute wait for 2 so we sat at the bar. The server was very attentive. The ambiance was contemporary with nice are work on the walls. I ordered the Backyard Burger. It was delicious! I was hungry and ate it all! It had the perfect seasoning and toppings for an excellent taste! Shout out to the chef for a great recipe! It didn't come with fries and the server made sure I knew while I was ordering. That was thoughtful and nice. I decided to take it as is with the coleslaw and pickle. That was a great choice because the fries would have made me too full. In retrospect, the sides that came with my burger were a healthier assistance and I'm grateful for that. I recommend this place and can't wait to come back to try some more of the entrees.

I like the vibe of the shopping center and The Shed in particular - both outside and inside. Feels very cozy. Our server was very friendly, and I have to say I was not only impressed with how massive my salad was -but it was great and seemed very fresh. This seems like one of those spots with tons of fun things on the menu and I would love to come back and try more of them. The kicker is - after eating at The Shed, it's so much fun to hit up The Shop Rite!

Shed Bowl with steak and feta cheese

We came on a Thursday night for a party of two. They said a 15-20 minute wait but we were seated in 5! I got the salmon on a bed of corn, peas, shallots and spinach with a honey mustard vinaigrette My friend got the shed bowl with steak and replaced goat cheese with feta cheese I absolutely love the salmon entree at The Shed because they ask how you like it cooked. I always prefer this because if it's anything over medium, it feels overcooked and dry to me. I won't get salmon anywhere else! My waiter suggested putting the sauce on the side, which I appreciated that suggestion. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp on top. The shallots in the bed of vegetables were a tiny bit undercooked, which made them a little bit onion spicy. It was a little overpowering. Overall, a great dinner!

We arrived at lunchtime. Our waitress was friendly and polite. Food was very good. Order arrived in a timely fashion. Gluten free bun on my hamburger was soft and fresh. I would highly recommend.

I made a reservation for two on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but they had our table ready even though we arrived 30 minutes early. Our server was Evelyn, and she was so sweet and she helped us when we were trying to decide between two desserts and three appetizers. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

First off, the inside is beautiful. They did an incredible job with the renovation, and I loved all the little details, especially the custom 300-pound manhole covers they're using as tables around the bar. Even better, everyone working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now the food! We started with the Baked Clams, and these were legit. You could've served them to me at an Italian restaurant and I wouldn't have questioned it. The Nonna's Ribs were probably one of the biggest surprises--slow-braised pork ribs with cherry peppers and finished on the grill. Fall-off-the-bone tender, tons of flavor, and I loved that they weren't just drenched in BBQ sauce. The Firebird crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic, and the Steakhouse Sandwich with sliced NY strip, mushrooms, provolone, crispy onions and horseradish aioli was also very well done. But that Manhole Burger deserves some special attention. Beef, American cheese, caramelized onions and dijonnaise on brioche. Simple combination, executed REALLY well. This was an outstanding burger and absolutely something I'd order again. And I can't leave out the fries. They're hand-cut in house, super thin and crispy, and exactly how I like my fries. Think that addictive thin fast-food style, except made fresh and much better quality. If you remember this location from its previous ownership, give it another shot. This is a completely different experience. Beautiful restaurant, genuinely friendly staff and food that exceeded my expectations. Foundry Tavern is a Hicksville hidden gem that deserves more attention--especially for lunch. I'll definitely be back.

Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. We were a 4 top table and had room on both sides for helper to serve more efficiency. The meatballs were the standout a 10 outa 10 for sure- probabaly the best I ever had at a restaurant including Moroni's in Northport which won all sorts of awards for their meatballs - this place makes em better- the sauce and ricotta cheese were perfect complements to these gluten free meat balls not made with bread crumbs but with potatoes! WOW amazing taste from a combination of different meats and perfect spices added. 10 out of 10 just go there for the meatballs and you will be set! Ok so we also had bang bang shrimp - very good- spicy mild but cooked nicely - its fried I hope they use tallow to cook bc I hate seed oils- anyway- the pork chop chop martini was ok not great- it was nothing compared to #1 spot Robkes. It was dry and sauce uninspired complement. The NY strip I ordered was cooked perfectly med rare but was way over salated and I love salt but this was really overly salty. So was creamed spinach- they took the spinach back and the over cooked dry pork chop martini and took em off bill. Hopefully we will be back so we can try the meatballs again - maybe with other dishes. Do tell them LIGHT on the salt - seems like most everything was overly salty but fresh and carefully prepared.

I don't do French toast but I'd never go against the crew and I'm glad I didn't pick this day to waver. They were perfectly sweet, crunchy, warm & doughy . Then just when I thought we were done, Achilleas slides out with two complimentary desserts, one for me (birthday) and another for my two friends that had a big engagement that we are still celebrating! The complimentary cake was surprisingly delicious. It was vanilla birthday cake served warm with a scoop of ice cream, sprinkles and whip cream and my mouth is still watering over it. Needless to say, we're all looking for reasons to get together on an Achilleas night again.

During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!

We had a few people over for a small get together and decided on the Chicken Cutlets & Mac & Cheese package as well as the BBQ package for dinner. The abundance of food from both packages was just so exciting. There were chicken cutlets, macaroni and cheese and caesar salad with croutons in the package deal. Says it feeds 4 people but with the amount of food given I would say 6. BBQ package included ribs, brisket, chicken, corn bread and coleslaw. You can order on the website or call the restaurant and present a time when you will pick up. We all just dove in and had a bit of everything and some went in for 3rds! It was just that flavorful. With all of our bellies full we still wanted dessert. We chose one package with oreo mousse cups and one package with fresh berry cups which contained blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. You get four cups of each but definitely it is enough for 6 people in my opinion. Everything was wrapped and sealed in trays and containers and neatly placed in the bag. I highly recommend these package deals for the price because you will have leftovers for a few days. Perfect for a hectic and stressful week that we call life. You can even take some to lunch as well. The food was fresh, plenty of flavor and did I mention leftovers!!! LOL

There were plenty of…read moretables available, and our waitress promptly came over, offered suggestions for my drink choice, and provided friendly service throughout the meal. My date and I decided to try the French onion soup. We both really enjoyed the flavorful, light broth. The presentation was stellar. It was literally served inside an onion. Our waitress gave us a steak knife so we could "go to town" on the actual yellow Spanish onion, and of course, we did. Inside, there were some cheese and onion pieces, along with what seemed to be crispy fried onions on top. The menu stated that the soup contained five different types of onions, but surprisingly, it wasn't overly "oniony" or cheesy. I also missed the crunch of a traditional crouton, which was not included. The onion itself barely held much of the filling, but I would still order this again because I really enjoyed the beautiful, delicate wine and beef broth taste. Instead of ordering a full entrée, I chose the octopus appetizer for my meal. It was beautifully cooked. The dish brought two tentacles which were very tender. It also had a wonderful char on top. Underneath was a romesco sauce with a subtle hint of spice. On top of the octopus was a combination of greens with fennel and olives. If you don't enjoy acidic flavors, I wouldn't recommend this dish. There was a strong vinegar acidity throughout. Personally, I love acidic foods, so this was a wonderful surprise for me. That said, I wouldn't call the dish well-balanced. The acidity definitely takes over, even with the romesco sauce. For my palate, though, it worked beautifully. My date selected the barbecue brisket sandwich with French fries. It was a nice portion. Both of our drinks were well balanced yet strong. The flavors were bold and interesting in each dish we tried. My only real critique was that the French onion soup didn't have enough of the actual ingredients inside the onion. Still, the broth was delicious, and the presentation made it visually appealing.
