    Ending the meal

Firstly ! Atmosphere was amazing, even though they were completely packed to the brim we only waited a solid 30 seconds to be seated, our seats were cleaned promptly and we were greeted with joy and excitement by our beloved server who's name I can proudly say is Kaitlyn. My boyfriend and I are sharing valentines together and I drove up here all the way from Cape Cod to be here, I was exhausted walking in-- but every moment from the excellent service to the amazing meal was impeccable and I would highly recommend promoting her or at the VERY LEAST giving her a raise :) she made my very tiring and intensive 3hr drive all worth it. Kindness and hospitality is exactly what I needed and look no further than this SPECIFIC Red Arrow in Concord ! Thank you Kaitlyn. Thank you haddock dinner. Thank you chicken parm. - Ripley and Sam

I wasn't expecting to have Tourtiere for Breakfast!!!!! Red Arrow Delivered some deliciously classic French Canadiana like their memere used to make! It was very good. The inside reminded my of my own memere's thanksgiving stuffing. I was very happy with my breakfast. For the non-french canadians - tortiere is pork pie and that is what they call it on the menu, Pork Pie! Red arrow was super cute had all diner vibes. Said it had been open since the 1920s. The TV screens showed us that Barak Obama had been there (which was much more impressive than when they showed us that Chris Sununu had been there - though it's nice to hear he supports local business.). Would have loved to have tried one of the amazing looking sweet pies that greeted us at the door, but alas. it was not in the cards. Our waitress was great, the service was prompt. Awesome that Concord has a 24 hr diner.

I took my friend here recently, while she was visiting. We all enjoyed our food, and the staff was very friendly. Clean bathrooms. Great atmosphere, aside from seeing Cheeto on the tv, and the menu but I'll give them a pass for now.

This is a super cute old fashioned diner. The servers here are always friendly. Recently, we went at night after a long day. I don't have pictures of the food, but I took a picture of my hot chocolate lol. When the food came out I ate it quickly because I was hungry. When my husband reminded me about pictures it was to late. But I had eggs, pancakes, bacon and homefries. They have breakfast here all the time! They also have delicious chicken tenders and yummy fried fish! The dessert counter will make your mouth water! They have pies, cakes, and more! You can even buy the mugs here! Great place to stop.

Check out the hand-written notes on the wall when you come in. A lot of folks adore this place:I can see why!

I saw this was on diners, drive-ins and dives, so I had to stop. It's a 50s style diner setting with booth, table or counter seating. My friend and I were seated promptly at the counter upon our arrival. The waitress was friendly and provided good service. After perusing the menu, I oped to go with a monte cristo sandwich because I've never had one and have always wanted to try it. But, maybe I should've had one of the items Guy went there for instead. The monte cristo wasn't bad, but not great and wasn't quite what I was expecting. Whenever I've seen monte cristo's they were always the sandwich put together, then dipped in the french toast batter and cooked up;thus monte cristo was simply just made between two pieces of french toast, which made it hard to dip in the syrup without it falling apart. Also, the turkey was a little dry. Now to leave you with what I liked about the sandwich; it was fresh carved turkey (none of that lunch meat crap) and there was a LOT of it! The french toast it was on was well done, no gross uncooked or gooey bits. I would not order this sandwich again, but all in all it wasn't a food disappointment. I would give Red Artow Diner another go if I were in the area, but only to order a dish that was featured on triple d.

    Looks good but really not

We were able to park close by and get in before the big crowd. Barley seems like a happening place. An upscale Irish Pub, for sure! The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. We were thinking maybe people leave to get ice cream at one of the nearby establishments. 5-Stars Price: Fair Parking: plenty near by Vibe: perfect...I would like to watch a game, someday, at the bar Pepsi/Coke: Coke Would I come again? Sure...we enjoyed ourselves and the food and service was excellent

Everything our party of four ordered was a disappointment, starting with an ice-tea cocktail that was undrinkable-- our nice waitress took it off the bill. My grilled salmon on a bed of rice arrived as dry as the Sahara, surrounded by burnt roasted carrots -- at least I think that's what they were. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare was also way overdone, served a block of with cold mashed potatoes. The overly sweet Apple Pumpkin Bisque (for $9) went uneaten after each of us tried a spoonful -- it was more like a bowl of pie filling than soup. Even the dessert, bread pudding with some whipped cream, was gloppy and unappetizing. This is a great place to go if you are fasting.

It's a total game-changer. Pair that with the bacon (which is mouth-watering and perfectly crispy) and a mimosa, you've got the perfect meal 11/10! The kitchen was constantly coming out with gorgeous plates, and the staff is so friendly and attentive that you never feel rushed. The server was great and the place is unique, but the pour of wine I got for $12 left something to be desired. I was given a stemless glass of wine with less than six ounces of wine in it. The food had great flavor but the portion was drastically lacking. I ordered the dumpling pow bowl that was advertised to have dumplings and cauliflower in a Sriracha miso glaze. The bowl I got was the size of a cereal bowl. It had a very thin layer of diced cabbage with two dumplings cut in half and barely any cauliflower bits. My partner got a great sandwich, but the server asked if he wanted to upgrade for fries and he decided to get the curry fries. This was charged as a total additional side for $5.50, $4 for the fries, and 75 cents each for the curry mayo and the curry ketchup. If they are going to charge it this way, he should have received the chips as well. This was very misleading. The portions were totally off and ended up making the experience very bad for us. I can say we will never be back to this establishment and that saddens us, as my partner had fond memories of going to the Portsmouth location.
