I stopped in while I was in town for work and was intrigued by the interesting menu. I love both Asian and Mexican food, so there were a few options that caught my attention. I decided to go with the Korean bibimbap. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. I usually love bibimbap, but this version was extremely greasy and lacked the spice and bold flavor I was expecting. The gochujang sauce was pretty bland, and even after asking for more, it didn't make much of a difference. The rice had the crispy bottom you want in a bibimbap, but it still lacked that punch of flavor that makes the dish so satisfying. Overall, it felt like a very tamed-down version of bibimbap. The concept and menu are interesting, but this particular dish left me wanting more. Service was friendly but slow. I would still go back to the is place and give it another try. read more

My partner and I went here for dinner. I have been wanting to try this place and was so excited to be going, just to end up very disappointed. The server was great and the place is unique, but the pour of wine I got for $12 left something to be desired. I was given a stemless glass of wine with less than six ounces of wine in it. The food had great flavor but the portion was drastically lacking. I ordered the dumpling pow bowl that was advertised to have dumplings and cauliflower in a Sriracha miso glaze. The bowl I got was the size of a cereal bowl. It had a very thin layer of diced cabbage with two dumplings cut in half and barely any cauliflower bits. My partner got a great sandwich, but the server asked if he wanted to upgrade for fries and he decided to get the curry fries. This was charged as a total additional side for $5.50, $4 for the fries, and 75 cents each for the curry mayo and the curry ketchup. If they are going to charge it this way, he should have received the chips as well. This was very misleading. The portions were totally off and ended up making the experience very bad for us. I can say we will never be back to this establishment and that saddens us, as my partner had fond memories of going to the Portsmouth location. read more

Wow wow wow! The French toast here is on another level here--it has that incredible fried dough texture where it's crispy and golden on the outside but stays light in the middle. It's a total game-changer. Pair that with the bacon (which is mouth-watering and perfectly crispy) and a mimosa, you've got the perfect meal 11/10! The kitchen was constantly coming out with gorgeous plates, and the staff is so friendly and attentive that you never feel rushed. Not many restaurants with a unique menu can truly pull it off, but Street does -- and in spades! The menu is full of creative dishes and appetizers that sound incredible, and even better, they actually are. My wife and I recently visited Street for lunch. She eats gluten-free, and we were both impressed by how many gluten-free options were available -- it made ordering easy and enjoyable. We started with the Curry Fries -- yes, Curry Fries -- and they were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered a noodle bowl, which she couldn't stop raving about. Not being too familiar with the area, my husband and I were looking for a place to go after dinner for some drinks. We found this adorable restaurant with its brightly colored urban decor and graffiti covered walls. I wish we had room to try the food because there was a guy sitting next to us that was devouring what looked to be an a thick, juicy burger. Our bartender made the best drinks. We had the Empanadas, Korean Ribs and Chicken Tenders. The empanadas were good. The other two were terrible. It's a rare occasion that I leave a chicken tender uneaten. Ribs should be tender and falling off the bone. They were hard and barely edible We left still hungry so we went elsewhere. Service was great! Street opened its third location in Downtown Concord in the former New Hampshire Pizza Co. space. I stopped by Street in Concord for dinner recently. Stepping inside, I kinda thought this place looked familiar with the host stand at the door, bar with seating to the right and table seating to the left. I headed to an open seat at the bar for quick service. The NH Seal and signs with the draft beers above the bar are still here on the brick wall. I was given a laminated dinner menu with food on one side and drinks & cocktails on the other side. For this visit, I stuck with food and got ice water. Going over the menu, the items and dishes served here are fusion of a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Latin, Mediterranean, and American. They offer tacos, empanadas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, lamb shawarma, porchetta, falafel, bibimbap, noodle bowls and small desserts. The prices are slightly high, but not at the Boston level. I read mixed Yelp reviews of the Portsmouth and Exeter locations, some people loving Street and others trashing it in their reviews including recent reviews and old reviews close to 10 years old. I was reluctant in ordering the Bibimbap since one reviewer didn't like it and mentioned it wasn't the kind you'd find in an authentic Korean restaurant. Anywho, I started out with the What About Cobb Salad ($9 plus tax half size), which was a good size salad with artichoke hearts, feta, tomato, avocado slices, hard boiled egg, smoked almonds, and crisp bacon on big crunch mixed greens with a cup of lemon miso dressing (my choice) on the side. This salad was really good and fresh. Next, the Bibimbap ($23 plus tax) which was served very hot in an iron skillet, but not sizzling like you'd expect in a Korean restaurant. This dish has a mix of sesame sautéed carrot, mushroom slices, zucchini, lots of spinach, bean sprouts, Korean BBQ beef pieces, and a sunny-side egg on top of a bed of rice and served with Gochujang sauce. I mixed up the hot food and enjoyed. The rice did crisp up on the bottom and not burnt. I actually really enjoyed the Street take on this tasty Korean dish. I was very full from finishing the Bibimbap, but I needed a box for most of the salad, which I enjoyed later on. The dinner check was $34.72 with tax and before tip. Overall, a very good tasty dinner at Street in Concord. The service here was very prompt from the bartender taking my order, to my food being served to me by a food runner within 10-12 minutes after ordering. I will have to stop in again at this location for Sunday brunch. read more

Really cute place inside. Food is freshly prepared, so it is not fast food (as you may think from the name). What we ate was very good and tasty. Portions are good sized and filling. The fries and the tortilla chips are very good, so either choice is a good one. The servers were very friendly and happy. They also have a Sunday brunch menu if looking for breakfast items. Let me start by saying I am a VERY picky eater and rarely find a dish I love. Until now. I was initially hesitant about trying this place because the food sounded a bit outside my comfort zone but I am glad I gave it a try. They have a wide assortment of foods (soups, noodles, rice, meat, and salads. The interior is brightly colored with an urban flair and dress is casual. The waitstaff are incredibly personable. But let's talk food...Their signature dish the Bibimbap has become my favorite dish at Street. I actually crave it and can honestly say it has been a long time since I felt that way about any dish at a restaurant. And to top it off they make an excellent Key Lime Tartlet (enough to share!) This is a hard no for me. I love the eclectic food concept, but the execution was not good. Street food is supposed to be quick, simple and tasty, this was a miss. Service was super slow, especially if you are relegated to the basement. You get one drink. Don't expect the server to come back and take a second drink order or check on you. I'm not expecting authentic cuisine from Street ( we are in NH after all) but the mix of flavors was just not great. Everything was almost good. I could see and practically taste how good it could be but wasn't. Clearly they didn't do their homework to learn about what makes these dishes popular in their native countries. The bibimbap could have been great if the carrots were shredded (instead of huge sliced pieces). Its the texture of the veggies that make bimbap so good. The concept of bimbap is that everything should be able to be mixed in. Its hard to mix in large slice carrots. Also, would have been great to have a side of kimchi to mix with it. The dish lacked the balance of acidity and texture. If no kimchi, then shredded quick pickled cucumber would be a great addition and very low cost to the restaurant. The rice was perfectly cooked though. I love the crunchy rice texture. We also had the Korean fried chicken. Not sure what made this dish korean? If it was supposed to taste like gochujang, it didn't. It was vinegary sweet pepper sauce. Chicken was fried to dryness. Banh mi (aka Vietnamese sandwich) was the most disappointing. This is the simplest thing to make and at an expensive Vietnamese sandwich shop, they cost $9, so for $14, I had high expectations. The pork sandwich had pulked pork. It was terrible. I was thinking it would be bbq pork. (They could have used a few slices of porchetta from their menu) There were a few slices of Vietnamese bologna (traditional sandwich meat), then it had some cokes, siracha mayo and basil leaves. This sandwich is a miss. It needs the pickled daikon and carrots. This is the filler. It cost so little and delivers such a big punch. Also you don't put basil in the sandwich, it's cilantro. The cilantro gives it a fresh taste when combined with the pickled veggies. Don't get this sandwich if you love real Vietnamese sandwiches! You will be sad. Overall, I was disappointed with this place. I wanted to love it, but nothing was delicious even if it was loosely interpreted "street" food that didn't taste as good as it sounds read more

Four of us stopped in around 5:30 for a quick bite before a movie at Red River. The atmosphere upstairs was lively and fun. We were seated in the quiet basement, but we didn't mind. Staff was careful not to forget us and there were people running drinks to help the waitstaff. We got bibimbap, curry fries, fish tacos, and the porcetta sandwich. We ate at the location in Concord this week. I tried tacos: one fish and one shrimp. They were stuffed and delicious. The slaw and sauce was perfectly seasoned and the fish and shrimp were fresh and cooked well. My wife had the Cemita sandwich and she really enjoyed it. The beef was cooked the way requested and the flavors of the sandwich were delicious. The cilantro and Mexican fried cheese added something different. The restaurant was clean and the decor and dining areas were appealing. Our server was friendly and took great care of us. We will definitely eat at Street again and I will probably try the Cemita sandwich and my wife will try the tacos! Keep up the great work and keep cooking this yummy food. read more

I've eaten at Street several times and the service, hospitality and joy were completely absent yesterday morning (Sunday, 08/18). I was with a group of 6 women sitting in the front. After waiting an hour I literally had to ask for a waitress to take our order. The food/breakfast was only fair, the waitress was completely overwhelmed, not sure if the restaurant was short staffed because there were too few wait people. You need to do better. At the end of the meal, I had to ask for our bill, and the waitress took 6 minutes to write it up. Very unimpressed, I won't be back anytime soon. The people at the front of the house should have been helping however they weren't. read more

Went for brunch today and the food was delicious! Service was very good. They have a nice selection of dishes. There were 3 of us and we each ordered something different... one of us had Beach Bod, one had Mystery Mix and the third had a Benny of some sort. We also got a small order of French Toast for the table. The French Toast could use some fruit condiment to brighten it up a little as it is fried and brings to mind fried dough.All the food was fresh and well presented.
