if you love spicy food this place is the bees' knees. Staff was super friendly and responsive. The Lamb wrap was not what you can get in Providence RI at East Side Pockets (seriously: if you want to have the best Gyro wrap in North America, you must go to East Side Pockets on Thayer St. in Providence RI, those folks know how make lamb that melts in your mouth... perfection) anyway, my 14 yr old son loved the spicy Korean Fried Chicken Tenders, they were HUGE and flavorful. I had the Pork Dumplings with Cauliflower and sticky rice, delicious and the portions are generous. Hubby had the lamb wrap. It was good, but like I said, could be better. We got the special too, which was "Skull Island" fried chicken with Maple butter and bacon, and a ranch dipping sauce. I didn't like the ranch sauce. To me it tasted like it had hint of something "fish" in it. Without the dipping sauce, they were great! We ate them all. The cocktails are different and seasonal and fun. I enjoyed the Beet Lemonade one w/ Ginger & vodka. Delicious. In fact, I had 2 of them. Will definitely go again. For the 3 of us, with taxes & a tip it was about $132 so plan on enjoying yourself and spoiling your waiter/waitress too. Worth it for a fun night out. I like that it's funky enough to feel "cool" but down-earth and family-friendly enough that we can bring our 14 year old and not feel awkwardly out of place there. Nice Job! (for the owner: Please go to East Side Pockets in Providence, Rhode Island, and get a lamb Gyro from there and eat it. You will see what we mean. And if you can nail THAT, you will be a staple here in Concord for the rest of your life...) read more
