Experience: - The Square is super cute and offers ample parking. -The bathrooms smell awful, from the moment you walk in the hallway there is clearly a plumbing issue present which has been present our last two visits.. rough way to start your experience at a restaurant. -The menu, no issue with prices going up but using white out over the prices, hand writing new prices which is barely legible is tacky to say the least. -Following our order the food came out nearly immediately and it was clear the guacamole to our main dishes are made in advance and not done well. - To the mgmt team -3% surcharge to use a credit card is a joke, add it to your price or offer a cash/ debit discount not the other way around. On the food side: -The beans were prepared with way too much salt.. inedible was the way we would describe it.. -Mexican rice was awful. No sign of a single vegetable or herbs... Mexican rice should and can be made flavorful with ease by any chef. -The guacamole was clearly made well in advance and brown... I'm sorry, happy to pay a premium for guac at a restaurant but this product shows no effort to ensure freshness. -Main dishes , both submerged in oil and our chicken was served nearly cold... fajitas served lukewarm and lacking flavor which seems hard to do but that was our experience. - Drinks - the unsweetened ice tea was served carbonated for some odd reason from their soda machine... not drinkable sorry. Service: - servers were kind and attentive, checking in routinely for anything we may need which was deeply appreciated. After a few shots at this restaurant we both agreed there is a reason the restaurant is empty, the food , the ambiance, the overall experience for our hard earned money. TLDR for the restaurant - take pride in your food, take a fresh look at the diners experience, Mexican food should be vibrant, flavorful and delicious, this is by far the worst finished product we have ever had in NH and simply put not worth a visit unless something drastic changes.

The Saturday night karaoke crew was a blast and we stayed through to the end, alternately laughing and singing along. Bartender asks "How is everything?" I say, "Everything is good. Will be better when the nachos get here." He smiles apologetically. I say, "I get it, it's Saturday night." That's the last time any staff acknowledges us. Thirty minutes later, no nachos. We finally get a barback's attention. He runs to get someone. Forty-five minutes later, and I'm pretty sure our order went out with some DoorDash driver. What I am sure of is that we're never getting our nachos. We ask for our check. No delay getting that in front of us. No explanation or apologies. No manager as far as I could tell. We pay for our drinks, and leave. I head down the block to get get two slices of cheese pizza. The food here has always been good. The service until now had been great, at worst adequate. I don't know what happened here. A dropped order isn't a new thing. Maybe an inexperienced manager who got overwhelmed. Maybe they're prioritizing to go orders. This was one of the best restaurants on Elm St. Looks like those days are over. Go for lunch. He actually looked embarrassed and I could see he was looking around to see where our waiter went but he was nowhere in sight. It was not busy. There were only 3 or 4 tables with people at them. After so many positive experiences at Frida we did not expect this! One other thing is the music they were playing from the 80's was SO LOUD I couldn't hear myself think! We had to shout at each other to have a conversation! I had to shout at our waiter to order the food! I like to have music playing too but not so excessively LOUD that I struggle to have a conversation. This was ok,I guess, on a Friday or Saturday night but not on a Sunday afternoon! Anyway, by the time we tracked down our waiter (Salvatore), and showed him the crunchy, brown, tortillas, he offered to bring new ones but, by that time, my hubby's chicken fajita was cold....so we declined. The food was serving to me in about 12 minutes after ordering. The hot skillet of 7 tiger shrimp, green peppers and onions was sizzling.
