The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. NOW huge warning - there is very limited parking in back and the parking lot is split by a church and an apartment building and although the are signs up in the lot in some areas, if you don't pay attention and park in the wrong spot you absolutely will get towed. A family member got towed (we were in the right spot so ok), which left a bad aftertaste in our mouth so to speak. It would be helpful and appreciated if the restaurant was proactive about warning guests to make sure they are parked in the right spots.
