From the moment we arrived to when we left was great ! The door was opened for us by one of the nicest host I've had, I believe he said his name was Chip . Troy our waiter was great, very detailed and prompt. Our food arrived quickly and was wonderful. I got the special creamed onion soup, I could have licked the bowl clean , but stopped myself ;) My boyfriend got the crab cakes for an appetizer he said it was the best crab cakes he's had this side of Maryland . Entrees he got the seared Tuna and went with the smaller plate of Peanut dressed pork belly . Both were scrumptious For dessert we got the sea salt crème brûlée. I didn't think I had room left for dessert but after one bit I couldn't stop ! read more

First time there. Worth the hour drive and will be back . Nicholas our waiter suggested the shepherds pie. It was fantastic. The presentation was wonderful and it will keep me coming back. I knew that there wermany other things on the menu, but I'll come back for this again and again. Two of us had the coconut curry soup and literally had to lick the bowl to make sure we du DMP t miss one drop of this. The other in our party had the salad And enjoyed it completely. The two others had the scallops and were very impressed. One of our party has a tomato allergy and they were careful not to have it on the dish. Then came dessert time. I called ahead to make sure they had carrot cake because i had read great reviews on it. It certainly lived up to those reviews. One of our guests was too full for dessert, but managed to get a spoonful of both of ours. My friend had the Boston Crean tart, and we all declared this a winner also. They were very accommodating as I had booked for four and had to call them before we came in person's plane was delayed. When I asked, because of the reviews I had read, if they would have carrot cake that evening, and the gentleman said as long as I'm here we will always have carrot cake. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delicious, well prepared and well presented meal that is as fresh as can be. The service is wonderful and we will be back. read more

Revival is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The food is farm to table and it's quite apparent in the taste of their dishes. The menu is exceptional. I truly don't think you can go wrong with anything. The complimentary sourdough bread service is incredible. My personal favorite dishes are the bacon wrapped dates, scallops, and their rotating macrons are always great. The staff is also amazing - everyone takes pride in their work and offers wonderful service every time. A must-do for anyone in the Southern New Hampshire area or beyond. read more

Revival Kitchen & Bar - Steak Frites Special - Wine Bars Near Me - Concord, New Hampshire

Revival is an adorable little place on Depot, right off Main Street. The menu changes seasonally and they source a lot from local farms, which I love. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Every dish we have tried has been outstanding. The rabbit and mushroom appetizer they had this fall was so crave-able, I had to go back twice to get my fix. read more

My fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement and decided to order the 5 course chef tasting menu which was so worth the money ($85 total). It was 4 savory courses and one dessert course. Everything was so delicious and fresh!! The service was also amazing and very timely. The highlight dish for me was the seared scallops but my fiance really liked the braised lamb dish. The restaurant itself was very nice looking and classy. I would definitely recommend going and getting the 5 course tasting menu if you're looking to spend a bit more for an amazing food experience. read more

A lovely dinner out at @revivalkitchennh in downtown Concord, NH! Very accommodating, we ordered the soup of the day, a parsnips and maple soup with locally sourced ingredients, beet salad without feta, Seared Dunk's Mushroom which is a vegan entree, and the "vegan feed me" option, the chef's choice, which was a green curry with forbidden black rice, root vegetables, topped with apple. Nice espresso and rock candy for a perfect finish. read more

This is the spot! Every dish we had from the appetizers to the multiple desserts - including the in house made macarons - were delicious! We sat at the bar and the bar tender was engaging and warm. This place would be great for a significant celebratory event as well as a casual meal out , perfect atmosphere, classy but not stuffy. Can't wait to go back. read more

Neither I nor anyone in our party has ever been treated so rudely at a restaurant -- and impressively, it happened within the first minute of meeting the waitress. We decided to seek a warmer welcome literally anywhere else. I do wish I could review the food, but we did not get that far. I dislike leaving bad reviews and rarely ever do but wow. read more

We had a really great dinner at Revival! They were SO busy, which made me think that the server would not pay attention to us, but she was AMAZING. They were great with no dairy, and the salmon dish was excellent. They even had a vegan dessert! The cocktails and mocktails were also excellent. This is definitely a must in Concord! read more

Truly one of the best dining experience we have had in some time, including meals in NYC and such. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sage chicken was unique and delicious, as was the super yummy carrot cake. Ambience of the space is on point, busy yet romantic and not overwhelming. Servers were all great, and the bartender was the sweetest and had great recs. Will be back next time we are in town! read more

Had a wonderful dinner last night. Local sourced, well thought out menus, and substitutes allowed. Gluten free options also. The halibut was tender and flakey, fried leaks, couscous bed, a poached chicken that was fork tender- very flavorful sauce. Excellent wine and drink list, the deserts were home made, so good! Our waitress seemed to have radar, attentive & informed, the copper topped table added to the ambience. Online reservations are now available, as it's not huge so recommended on weekends! Lots of street parking is available, nearby parking garage available also. read more

Food was tasty, fresh and portioned well. Salmon was cooked just as ordered. Pork roast was tender and beautifully presented.

Amazing evening in a great restaurant in Concord. The waiter has been with the place since it opened and was awesome, funny and very helpful. The food was spectacular, I had the salmon, my wife had the haddock and my daughter had the gnocchi. Then he recommended the carrot cake and oh man it was phenomenal!! read more

Our favorite spot in Concord! We traditionally do a small plate, entree each (which we can never finish) and then complete the meal with macaroons and espresso. This trip we opted to share 4 small plates and then take two desserts (carrot cake and Mexican hot chocolate cheesecake) home with us. Dates were our favorite with the salty bacon, sweet dates and kick of spice in the filling, mushroom and toast a close second with the perfect bite in that bread just soaked with mushroom cream, he went with the smelt and I went with the fritters - we probably could've done just 3 but we couldn't resist the smelt special! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, space is cozy and intimate - love it here! read more

We just ate at Revival for our 20th wedding anniversary and overall it was very nice. The food is fine - a solid 4 star. Our waiter Nicholas was exceptional at his job; very nice and attentive as he took care of every detail. Although Revival is a 4 star place, Nicholas is a 5 Star. read more

First time eating at this establishment and was thoroughly impressed. Special kudos to Nick, our server. Excellent service!! Well done!! Ambiance was fantastic. Loved the copper top tables, choice of ambient music top notch. Cocktails were terrific. bread/fruit/cheese plate had nice selection, very tasty. I had the clam chowder as a starter and it was (not a word of a lie) the BEST clam chowder I've ever had!! Main courses were: steak for me; halibut for my daughter; wife had the octopus. All were fabulous all-round'. Presentation, taste, texture, sides...WONDERFUL! For dessert the wife and I shared the carrot cake that was to die for; daughter had the coconut/raspberry macaroon with a coconut vodka martini. All courses and drinks arrived in a timely fashion, and Nick was great about making sure we got exactly what we were looking for. Can't say enough!! We'll be back. read more

From start to finish everything I had was amazing. I would say the best thing was the braised rabbit though. I travel a lot for work and try all kinds of food, and this was a top 3 dish this year. Bartender provided good service and was friendly as well. read more

A worthy stop. Farm to table place, modern/casual decor, nice dinner environment (not too loud or bright). The food is well made and the menu has a good variety of veggie as well as carny dishes. We ordered the salmon entree and the seasoning was good but the fish was a bit overcooked. Odd as we were told it's usually aimed at less than fully cooked in the center but that wasn't the case. The seafood newburg was a nice melding of flavors and generous. The mushrooms on toast appetizer was quite good - a creamy and very mushroom forward sauce on a variety of different mushrooms. They're famous for their carrot cake but I actually felt my wife's is better. But the sauce that went with it was A+. Sweet, not cloying, very nice. The chocolate boat was an intensely chocolate experience. One note about the macarons. They only make one variety a day so they're fresh. Good. I noted the price of $2.50 is the same as at a patisserie, which was surprising and also good. Our had a very intense flavor - quite excellent. But ... it was SO SMALL! There wasn't a mention that it's the size of a nickel - not exaggerating either. Impressive they could actually make it that small. So - definitely delicious but a bit of a shocker size-wise. Waitstaff was very knowledgable and the service was efficient. Parking is NOT easy. They're on a steep hill and expect all spaces to be taken. Pro tip - park on Main and walk to the place. read more

We love this restaurant but tonights meal was above and beyond. The special Tuna and the fish chowdah were perfect flavor and portions. Salmon on the regular menu was what we came for and the stuffed flounder special was so inventive and clean. We got crazy and went for desert and the carrot cake is the obvious choice. Thank you Tiff and Anna for our best experience yet! read more

Love the chicken and nice having different special. I would have given 5 stars but the woman at the hostess station should leave. Not a very happy person and not a good first impression. Stopped by on a whim and we definitely were not disappointed. We had Nicholas as a waiter and he was outstanding. My husband had the tomatoe and parmesan soup while I had the oyster special. Oyster plate came with 3 large oysters from Maine. There was a mignonette and a pineapple chutney. OMG, I wanted to get back in the kitchen and eat whatever they had left. They were so good. I then had the salmon over homemade fettuccine with mushrooms, peas and asparagus. It was superb. My husband had the steak with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. The steak was divine and melted in your mouth. We finished with a Mexican specialty coffee and creme brulee. I do not think that you could have a bad meal here. Everything looked and smelled amazing. Street parking. I will definitely be back. read more

Glad the SO was able to make a reservation as this place was packed and filled with good vibes. We ordered the calamari which was ok...didn't care for the breading. The scallops were large and so worth it. The flavoring was interesting as it felt like an Asian fusion style of flavoring. The bratwurst was good with a lot going on mixed together. Sometimes simplicity is better than infusing different things together to make an entree. My favorite was the dessert - the carrot cake was out of this world with two different cream cheese flavor. Matcha macaroon was tiny but good. read more

MEH. I don't get the amazing reviews. The food was really boring tasting and not that flavorful and although our waiter was nice the service from the hostesses was kind of off-putting. I got the scallops and I couldn't even be bothered to finish the small amount of rice that they were on because it just wasn't that good. I would never come back here. $85 for 2 entrees with no appetizers or drinks better at least be worth eating. read more

Everything was amazing and the staff was very attentive. I even saw a family dining across from me and the staff were really good about cleaning up after they had left and it looked spotless. The food was top tier and the flavor combinations were perfect. They bring white rolls and butter out right away as you decide your order. The crispy bits on top of the salmon and the dried fruit mixed in with the couscous was amazing. The asparagus was cooked perfectly too. I went on a Friday evening and had a reservation which was good because it looked like all the tables were full. read more

My wife and I were browsing downtown Concord today (Thursday 8/09), and we spotted a cute deck on a side street, where a woman was setting tables. We engaged her about the restaurant which did not open for an hour.. and she convinced us to come back in an hour. So glad we did as our experience was top-notch. Very creative farm-to-table place set in an old city brick building. Drinks were delightful- I had the Oaxacan Old Fashioned! Small plates & big plates... the menu looked delicious & came through on all counts. We had the stuffed pepper special, a cheese plate we designed, pirogies and the lobster poutine. Our server and the rest of the staff were key to making our time at Revival memorable... engaging and efficient (staff sweet spot). Can't wait to get back to Concord, will def. bring the gang along to enjoy a terrific time downtown! read more

We are from out of town and made reservations here as an early Valentine's Day dinner treat. THE FOOD -we started with the calamari appetizer. We felt it was fried perfectly and we really liked the aioli it came with. I also like that the only thing that was fried was the calamari. I can't stand when places fry peppers and it's a guessing game as to what you're picking up. -my partner got the seafood newburg which was delicious. He thoroughly enjoyed it and I tried a bite and found the sauce to be so delicious. We kept saying it's too bad it didn't come with more pasta to use the leftover sauce in his bowl. I will say the portion seemed pretty small. The table next to us someone got the same thing and it looked more like a "large plate" serving so maybe it was just a one off. -I got the halibut which was on special for valentines. Some bites were overpoweringly salty but overall it was really delicious. It came on a bed of meyers lemon risotto with fresh green beans. The beans were cooked to perfection and I wish I could've ordered a side of them to snack on. The dish also had prosciutto pieces which when I tried were totally not capable of being chewed they were so hard so I just avoided. The overall meal was delicious though and I would order again. -we got the carrot cake to go and I wasn't a huge fan. I was wanting more of a classic cream cheese frosting but it was fluffier than I expected. There was also a secondary topping / frosting that was maple-y that was okay. On top of that we're what my partner claims were sweet potato pieces. He liked the cake (in it's entirety) but for me it was a pass. -one thing I was REALLY disappointed about was the bread. For such a nice place they had really awful bread. It was hard and tough to chew. I think if they warmed them it would be perfect but that is not how they come. Butter was good though. Also, two little dainty rolls look ridiculous in the giant basket they serve them in...not even in a cloth napkin which kinda grosses me out. How often do they clean those baskets? THE DRINKS -we both ordered wine and it was lovely. -the waiter was nice enough to suggest my partner try a tiny bit of the wine on special since people were having mixed reviews on it. We both liked all the options we had. THE SERVICE -our waiter was very attentive and polite -he made sure to let us know we were in no rush and that we had the table which was great -I will say I notice they gave a lot of silverware that they were frequently taking and bringing back clean silverware. It was a little over the top for me since I am of the mindset to not be wasteful of using so much water to clean utensils over and over (especially when they kept taking things that were clean!). I think between the 2 of us they brought 4-6 spoons that we never used. THE ATMOSPHERE -we were seated at a 2 top and I am happy to say that while we were close enough to hear what's going on at the tables around us it wasn't like we were in their laps. That has been so common at restaurants lately and I can't stand it. -the tables were of nice copper tone and the decor around us/on the walls was nice Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if we are in the area I would want to come here again. Very tasty food, great service, lovely ambiance ! read more
