Buba Kitchen is a quaint noodle shop right on Main. The food is so crave worthy. Service is friendly and efficient. The bao buns are pillowy and delicious. The different ramens and soups are so flavorful and delicious. We have been in a few times, and loved everything we've tried. We can't recommend this place enough.

Spicy Japanese ramen was amazing--rich broth, perfect heat, and super fresh ingredients. Cozy spot, great service. Will definitely be back!

This is one of the best pho places I have ever been to. In Concord, New Hampshire, it is the best, and in Manchester, New Hampshire, it is one of the best restaurants. Both locations are truly amazing, and it is by far one of the best foods. It is always my go-to place. I will say that the service here is amazing. They are respectful, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, they are amazing. As for the ambiance, it is truly breathtaking. The presentation of the food is also amazing. They have great service, great ambiance, and everything is amazing.

This place is like your first real boyfriend. It's perfectly fine, and it satisfies many things that have been missing from your life up until now, but inevitably it fails to be complete, simply due to immaturity and not through any fault of its own. The cuisine is his charm, the menu is his intoxicating laugh, but the food falls short like your feelings for each other after the honeymoon phase. Let me elaborate. I love the concept: Asian-fusion in Concord, NH, a place where the only thing more predictable than a lack of night life is the lack of culinary diversity. Suddenly, Buba is offering Concord its inaugural baos, pho, udon, and other East-Asian dishes I dare not pronounce. They've cornered the market, our inexperienced taste buds are salivating, millennial are delighted. What is there not to love? After a shopping spree nextdoor - at Runner's Alley, get your mind out of the gutter - my mother and I ventured in, promised a table for 2 after a brief wait. Fully packed at 6pm on a Sunday? Go Buba! A brief inspection of the menu yielded one conclusion, we must order as if we had 4 stomachs. She wanted the Bo Tai Chanh, I wanted a pork belly bao. She wanted a pho, I wanted the yak udon. Compromise usually leaves at least one party disappointed, so we avoided it and ordered all of the above. Our stomachs growling and our taste buds tingling, and our brains promised an Asian-fusion wave of happiness, we waited for Buba to give us the perfect dining experience we selfishly desired. The Bo Tai Chanh was unique. I've never had it before, and I quite liked it! Spread onto a lettuce wrap or rice, it would be a satisfying meal in and of itself. The bao, pho, and yaki udon, however, were all good and that was it. The pork belly was average in preparation, and could've had more sauce or depth of flavor. The pho was indeed pho, but the broth did not instantly conjure up images of marrow-laden bones being simmered for 24 hours before being used to cook tender cuts of beef. The yaki udon was toothsome and sweet, but below the surface lacked any complexity that would implore me to want more. The one real winner was the bone marrow sate that came with the pho, if they sold that in jars, my sauce cabinet would be complete. I'd recommend going and seeing what you like. The dishes are fun, and they add a flavor that the area has eternally lacked. However, don't expect more than the allure Buba initially presents. It offers the cuisine we have lacked for so long, but sadly is not the place I will go to truly indulge in East-Asian flavors.

Food is so tasty. I like PHO the most out of all the menu. Their service is friendly. There is nice view to able see outside to see what is going on.

Stumbled in here to see what all the fuss what about! Place was full which was a good sign. Cozy but surprisingly spacious inside with a nice bar. Our server was great! Menu was very interesting and presentation was very good. We both wished there was a little more flavor in almost everything but the food was clean and fresh. The standout strangely, which almost went back on the plate after my shrimp was gone, was the salted lettuce carrot blend served with them. What a great surprise!! It's not just a garnish!!!

Wow! Our first experience with takeout was fantastic. Everything traveled well on the ten minute drive home. The portions are large so there are definitely enough of the udon noodles leftover for lunch tomorrow. My husband loved the ramen and enjoyed every last drop. The chicken that was in both dishes was phenomenal. 5 spice perfection... tender... juicy. Loved it. I will crave it for sure.

They kept my Dasher informed so the service was excellent. The Gyoza was excellent, and the Chicken - filet mignon Hibachi was well beyond my expectation. I did not expect the full meal- salad, Miso Soup, noodles AND rice. I ordered Yummy sauce of course- because how can you eat Hibachi without it?? Everything was outstanding. I will definitely be ordering again!! I can't speak to ambiance, but I am sure it's lovely. I can't wait for next time! Such a treat! It's not authentic Japanese, it's an interpretation of Japanese by Chinese workers and Cooks. Also, Chinese service isn't great and the waiter here isn't attentive and a bit too casual for my taste. The food itself is just acceptable, and for the price not great. The atmosphere also still is pretty weak, and the restaurant is small. It's sort of almost like a hole on the wall. On the West Coast, I've eaten at over 30 authentic Japanese restaurants, and for those of you who aren't Japanese restaurant or sushi aficionados... This food is probably fine. If you know we're good, Japanese food is, don't come here and frankly you may need to drive to Boston to get it.

It's relatively small (only about ten seats) and at the time, only two people were working. It took a little bit for the food to come out (my dad was able to go order a coffee at Coffee Break Cafe next door and bring it back before our orders came out) but the portions were perfect for our lunch and my dad really enjoyed his! The noodles are dropped off on the bar for you to pick up and you grab your own chopsticks as well. We ordered the Chili Ramen (tonkotsu with chili oil on top) and the Shoyu Ramen, both with pork as the protein. The cook on the egg was great (nice and gooey in the center and the white was nice and soft) but it was a little cold and lacked flavor (could've been marinated for longer?). The pork was a nice cut of meat but despite being blowtorched it was a little chewy and lacked a bit of flavor also. The lack of marination on these toppings was helped by the fact that the broth was great and flavorful and if you ate them with the broth and noodles, it was satisfying! I think the broth was the best part; I tried both of them and enjoyed drinking the broth by itself even without eating the noodles with it. Overall, I thought the ramen was OK (the soup was the best part!) but for the price and portion I think this is a nice place to stop by for lunch! My dad enjoyed it a lot and was impressed by the authenticity for an American establishment.

Unfortunately, I am a die-hard ramen aficionado and former New Yorker of over 10 years-- so I can be quite a tough critic. Points for the lovely atmosphere and cultural aesthetic... though the restaurant closes early on weekdays and I was informed of such the minute I entered the door prior to receiving a proper greeting. I had no other option but to order takeout and I would have appreciated being offered a seat, glass of water or beverage while waiting. The waitress stood next to me while I perused the menu so I definitely felt rushed to order and she was very brief in her responses regarding the most popular/tasty ramen options on account of wanting to begin closing perhaps? Overall, reception wasn't overwhelmingly warm... if it wasn't after 8 PM, I likely would have gone elsewhere simply off of the initial vibrations. Nonetheless, $40 later (OBA ramen, cucumber salad, ginger tea and I tipped $5... when I really shouldn't have)-- I dive in upon arriving to hotel to a very AVERAGE experience. The tea is not freshly brewed in-house with ginger, lemon etc... had I known I was going to receive a tea bag and hot water, I would have passed on spending the $4.50 (as the hotel has artisan teas). Cucumber salad is lacking spice, flavor profile and brine... just large, chopped chunks with a vinegar + chile concoction that lacks heat, reminds me of tajin (very salt forward) and was not marinated. It's a quick cucumber salad-- because it was prepared in this manner, the result is extremely watery because the flavor elements didn't absorb into the cucumber. I like cucumber salads almost like a kimchi... made with passion and spicy on the palette. As far as the ramen.... Nothing noteworthy. Cabbage, bamboo, corn were just naked toppings and placed on the ramen comparable to a salad bar. I like my elements flavorful and braised/sautéed. These were completely PLAIN toppings. Bamboo and shredded cabbage were likely canned/bagged respectively. Completely devoid of seasoning and umami. Tamago was cooked relatively properly but the rim was approaching hardboiled (yellowed rim with the jammy yellow center= slightly overdone). Chashu was actually lovely on the flavor scale but over-cooked as well and sliced in uniform disks, which seems as if it was pre-prepped versus made to order. Pork belly should be rich, smoky and more dense... Broth was short on miso presence but definitely edible. My favorite aspect of the whole meal was the chili oil (that I requested upon leaving... it was not provided to me without prompting even though I ordered my food at the spiciest level/5). It really elevated the flavor of the broth and I was happy that it was able to salvage the meal! Perhaps homemade? Perhaps this is an authentic ramen establishment by New Hampshire standards but it's a hard pass for me. Also, the to-go bowls should be larger to house the broth provided and to mix with ease. Bowls are too shallow so you have to pour broth, eat a bit, then add the remaining broth otherwise it will spill everywhere when you attempt to mix the ramen components. Additionally, a customer should always be asked if they would like utensils... I had to ask on my way out after checking my order for accuracy. Fair attempt but a far cry from stellar-- perhaps on account of not dining in? I just didn't taste the love and the authenticity. I've had many ramen experiences outside of metropolitan cities (and Japan) where you can still taste the craftsmanship and love in preparing all the elements. Sadly, OBA missed the mark on the flavor and execution train for me!
