I had recently been wondering how the Gas Lighter was holding up, and decided to take my wife there for lunch today. Boy, what a pleasant surprise! My wife is a second generation Greek American, and we both know Greek home cooking. We started by splitting a bowl of their Avgolemono Soup (chicken rice lemon); the absolute best we have ever had! We both ordered the Lamb Gyro, and it was delicious! The Tsadziki sauce was wonderful...loaded with garlic, and the Gyro serving was very generous. The French Fries were also good, crisp, but not greasy at all. My wife had Onion Rings with her Gyro... home made, lightly breaded, and very tasty. The desserts were next. They offered Baklava, Greek Rice Pudding, and Galatobouriko (a very special treat, made with crispy phyllo dough, and a firm custard, with a syrup). I had the Rice Pudding. My wife had the Galatobouriko. Both were delicious! The Owner/Chef, Soula, is very friendly, and the restaurant was very comfortable, clean, and inviting. Very nice staff! The Gas Lighter can lay claim to being the first Greek restaurant in Concord. Oh...and the beer IS the coldest in Concord! We'll be back!

My wife liked the turkey burger though. It was too large for her to finish. The draw for us to 110 Grill is the atmosphere, and the willingness of the staff to 'make it right'. But unfortunately the food fell short again. Also the beer selection is not targeting beer connoisseurs, e.g., 1) No American Pales Ales like Tuckerman's PA, and Lone Pine PA. 2) No Pilsners like Moat Mountain or Schilling. Maybe feature local breweries, and international brews. (Peroni doesn't count). We love this place but not sure if we will be back soon, at least when we are hungry.

We had they were white tables and white table service and I would say the service was really good and the wait stuff does make recommendations for you we tried the steak and potatoes and I got the lump crab with the brussels sprouts. I would say the food is well prepared and the wait stuff is really good with us however the food was just sort of average. I didn't come here expecting to get anything decadent or out-of-the-way from a gastronomical experience but I do think that the food is solid and well presented and well-prepared and it's a solid dinner option for the area. It does help that it's inside the hotel and still people who are staying there have an easy spot to go to for dinner. I don't really recommend coming here for anything that isnt traditional American food.

The mostly female staff are not only highly unprofessional, but (most of them) also clearly struggle with "internalized sexism". Following is only a sampling of actual events that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I typically only post exemplary reviews, but feel a strong moral obligation to warn other women. According to my bank records, during the past 5 years living in the area, I've been to Country Spirit every couple months or so. I've taken friends and dates there, who all complained about the food and service; but I kept going because it was a handy local spot for quick lunch or takeout. When visiting solo, I'd usually sit at the bar and grew accustomed to long waits for service. Many visits, the longtime patrons (mostly men) helped me get the bartenders' attention. Several voluntarily reassured me that "this is just how female bartenders treat female customers." So, I decided to not take it personally, and always gave the same 25%++ generous tips that I do everywhere I go. Aside from service, at least 2 takeout orders contained wheat bread, even though I'd explicitly ordered gluten-free (due to my tumor from celiac disease). Each time, I patiently waited 20 more minutes for them to recook my meals. Another visit last year, I asked a cook why the prime rib was overdone (even though I'd ordered it before the serving time); and he assured me it was a one-time anomaly that would never happen again. But sadly, it did happen again. Oct'2025, I'd stopped going there for 8 months, because I'd simply had enough of the horrible service and food. A few weeks ago, I gave it one more chance and had a brief pleasant visit. Today, I stopped in for a late afternoon cocktail; and after a sip of my drink, one of those same longtime patrons began complaining about a couple bartenders by names. I nodded empathetically, but added nothing. So, I was SHOCKED that within seconds, one of the 5 female staff targeted only me and asked me to step outside. She didn't even know MY Name, but asked me to leave (and not return), because I'd allegedly been "repeatedly badmouthing" the establishment. I asked how that was possible if I barely spoke to anyone today and only stopped in twice over the past 9 months!? She insisted that she was relaying this from the Owner (Sara?) who I'd never even met before. Obviously, banning any customer on baseless paranoia (in lieu of any civil resolution) demonstrates only emotional volatility, NOT professionalism. I'm nearly 50yrs old and a semi-retired business professional and my wardrobe reflects that. I live a quiet peaceful life and have never heard of anything like this. Even-so, I kept calm, debunked her false accusations and wild exaggerations, then peacefully left. Ultimately, I'm grateful to have finally been exposed to the utter lack of "spirit" at Country Spirit. I hope no other women endure this pointless targeted harassment, and shall trust my instincts if I'm ever treated with such disrespect and disregard ever again.

The food offerings include a selection of sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and salads at moderate prices. I stopped by 90 Low for food after walking around Main Street during Concord Market Days. The place was very busy and I found an open seat at the bar. There was also live music playing in the back room. It took a while to be helped after deciding what to eat. I eventually ordered the Banh Mi Burger ($17 plus tax) upgraded with fries (add $1) and an ice water. My food came out on a tray within 27 minutes. The Banh Mi Burger was comprised of a grilled Korean glazed beef patty, cucumber carrot ginger slaw, chipotle aioli, lettuce on a brioche bun. This burger was medium well, but very messy to eat. The handcut fries were crisp, but extremely over the top salty, yikes! After I was done, I requested the check which was $19.53 with tax and before tip. Overall, the burger was good and the fries too salty. The service was scattered, inefficient and delayed as there were two bartenders making drinks, one serving the bar patrons and the other serving tables. It took a long time for the bartender to take my food order as I already knew what I wanted and after acknowledging me, they still decided to make 2 drinks (6 minute task) instead, before taking my simple order and entering my food order into the queue. My food took a while to come out, while the guy next to me ordered before me, got and ate his food and cashed out before I got my food. They need to do better, both service and food (salty fries).

A little background here; I was really torn between ordering this versus the broiled haddock. In hindsight, I kinda wish I had gone with the latter because fish n' chips can be hit or miss, depending on how they're done. This one was okay, though I can't tell if the piece of fish they used was just hella small or if it was the batter that was throwing me off. In either case, it seemed thinner than most fried cod or haddock I've had up there. This tends to result in the end pieces of fish being slightly overcooked whilst the center was mostly fine. I dunno. It only makes me wonder how their broiled haddock would have turned out. Grading on a curve, I'll give this one a 7 out of 10. All said, I would definitely return here and try several other items on the menu, actually. I already mentioned one, but another that I'm curious about is their steak & cheese. Sadly, it'll have to wait till I happen to be back in the neighborhood again, given the 40ish minute drive from our place. Everything was so delicious and fresh!! The service was also amazing and very timely. The highlight dish for me was the seared scallops but my fiance really liked the braised lamb dish. The restaurant itself was very nice looking and classy. I would definitely recommend going and getting the 5 course tasting menu if you're looking to spend a bit more for an amazing food experience.
