The food was definitely the star here. Yum! Server was friendly as well and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was warm but a little cliche.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wld hv given 5 stars if it wasn't for the really long wait for the food. We wld hv been ok waiting if we were informed when we were ordering, that every dish is made to order and may take a minute because the chefs are rly passionate abt their food. Coz truly, the food was excellent. It just took so long to get to our table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And it wasn't busy. Maybe 5 tables max.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe some rolls wld hv helped ease the wait-time. All in all, I wld still recommend and return. Just hv a snack first!

The food here was amazing! I got the butternut squash ravioli and it was an easy 12/10 -- super flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also tried the fries appetizer, and it did not disappoint -- crispy, seasoned just right, and honestly kind of addictive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place has such a relaxed, family-friendly vibe, which made the experience even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend checking it out!

Another fantastic meal. We don't visit this end of town often but Alexandra's is worth the trip. The lamb meatballs were tender and savory. The special of surf & turf pot pie was delicate, rich, and delicious. the braised short ribs stole the show! Our server Danny was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive.

Delicious! Space inside is nice and cozy, warm. Staff was laid back and friendly. The food was great! We got a special app - pork belly tacos. My cavatelli was packed with flavor. Smash burger was cooked perfectly although fries were a little over salted. Coke products! The creme brûlée was delicious. Strawberry cake was good but not great. I'd love to watch their menu choices as they continue in their first year. Don't mind the photos, I forgot to take them before I dug in!

Amazing! 15/10! Best Cheeseburger in town! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the new light covers! The softer lighting is a great new addition to this fantastic establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a great meal here with the family. Ramen, steak, and burger were great. Also, the Parmesan fries are a must! Highly recommend.

We were able to park close by and get in before the big crowd. Barley seems like a happening place. An upscale Irish Pub, for sure! The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. We were thinking maybe people leave to get ice cream at one of the nearby establishments. 5-Stars Price: Fair Parking: plenty near by Vibe: perfect...I would like to watch a game, someday, at the bar Pepsi/Coke: Coke Would I come again? Sure...we enjoyed ourselves and the food and service was excellent

Everything our party of four ordered was a disappointment, starting with an ice-tea cocktail that was undrinkable-- our nice waitress took it off the bill. My grilled salmon on a bed of rice arrived as dry as the Sahara, surrounded by burnt roasted carrots -- at least I think that's what they were. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare was also way overdone, served a block of with cold mashed potatoes. The overly sweet Apple Pumpkin Bisque (for $9) went uneaten after each of us tried a spoonful -- it was more like a bowl of pie filling than soup. Even the dessert, bread pudding with some whipped cream, was gloppy and unappetizing. This is a great place to go if you are fasting.

It's a total game-changer. Pair that with the bacon (which is mouth-watering and perfectly crispy) and a mimosa, you've got the perfect meal 11/10! The kitchen was constantly coming out with gorgeous plates, and the staff is so friendly and attentive that you never feel rushed. The whole place has such a social, cool energy--it's exactly where you want to be. Can't wait to be back.

The server was great and the place is unique, but the pour of wine I got for $12 left something to be desired. I was given a stemless glass of wine with less than six ounces of wine in it. The food had great flavor but the portion was drastically lacking. I ordered the dumpling pow bowl that was advertised to have dumplings and cauliflower in a Sriracha miso glaze. The bowl I got was the size of a cereal bowl. It had a very thin layer of diced cabbage with two dumplings cut in half and barely any cauliflower bits. My partner got a great sandwich, but the server asked if he wanted to upgrade for fries and he decided to get the curry fries. This was charged as a total additional side for $5.50, $4 for the fries, and 75 cents each for the curry mayo and the curry ketchup. If they are going to charge it this way, he should have received the chips as well. This was very misleading. The portions were totally off and ended up making the experience very bad for us. I can say we will never be back to this establishment and that saddens us, as my partner had fond memories of going to the Portsmouth location.
