This is a combination love letter and farewell letter to a brand that Ive loved but that has dwindled down to 3 locations from 60+ at its height. My visit to this location was solid. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. My cali turkey burger came out perfectly cooked and deliciously topped with guac, salsa, chpotle purée and cilantro. Easy ordering via the app as always. This continues to be one of my favorite burgers of all time. It went through a few iterations over the years - the salsa had corn in it for a while (gross), the turkey burger was replaced with a turkey-mushroom burger for a time (yuck), but they went full circle and brought it back to the original. Its the hazards of a rotating menu. I drove over an hour so i could cash in my rewards balance for a free order of fries. The location i used to frequent near one of my company's office locations was turned into an Annas Taqueria which is another brand owned by the same parent company. Now they seem to be down to only Cambridge MA, Concord NH and Portland ME. If im in Concord, I wont hesitate to stop by but the brand is becoming a fading memory unless there is some sort of comeback effort. read more

When I went, there was nobody else in the restaurant . We payed $32 for two sandwiches and a milkshake. The time it took for us to get our order was 30 minutes. My son ordered a chocolate milkshake and it was the same texture as milk and tasted like it too, could also be because they made it immediately and then waited 30 mins to give it to us with the rest of the order. I walked in to this restaurant. Not knowing what to expect. I was greeted with friendly faces from the kitchen, who took the time and went through the menu with me and told me what their suggestions were and I ended up trying the farmhouse, burger with pickles and their vegan sauce I am not a vegan, but I would definitely eat this again, and there was nothing but friendly service in the ambience of the place was amazing. It's one of those places you could sit in there for hours on end and just enjoy it. I would highly highly recommend going here even if you're not vegan they support. Local farmers and if you're just looking for a friendliness, they've got that too also they have a wide variety of choices. And they also have food sent to your house using DoorDash and Uber eats so if you can't make it into the store, you can have it delivered overall experience a 10 out of 10 read more

This was an amazing find during our road trip. As vegans my husband and I really appreciate when an establishment has more than just burgers as their vegan options. It took a good 15 minutes to remake it, which meant I ate alone because my boyfriend was done with his extremely substandard black bean burger that's been fantastic the last 2 times we were there. I ordered another order of sweet potato fries so we could have at least something together and the girl at the counter literally withheld them until she could ring them up, which she wouldn't have even mentioned, had I not asked why they weren't with my corrected order. Been to many B.Good's both in Concord and in Boston. It's a good fast food option for plant based diets. Food isn't overly flavorful but is good enough. I don't believe the fries are deep fried, they are much more potatoey and not crispy (healthier, but not as tasty). The quality of the food is comparable to fast food, but makes an attempt to cut back on fat and sodium which doesn't make it as savory as traditional fast food. This was my first time trying B Good. Not a good experience. I ordered Mac & cheese and fries. The fries are a thick cut which I usually like, but these are awful! They are soggy and do not have any crispy or crunchy skin like a fry should. The Mac and cheese is not what I expects. It is very small (for an entree) you could eat it in 5 bites. On Friday evening, October 11, my family was traveling through New Hampshire on the Interstate. We got off in Concord for a quick dinner before traveling on to our final destination. We stopped here just off the Interstate and were served quickly with better menu options than were available at other fast food outlets. I was impressed watching the team of 3 service oriented employees work quickly and efficiently. One person at the register took the orders, another manned the cooktop, and the third person seemed to take care of all the other food items and assemble the items to complete each order. A special shout out to Simone who was the third person on the team. She was a master multi-tasker. She seamlessly fed multiple batches of fries through the hot air fryer, assembled desserts made to order, blended smoothies, packed up orders checking for accuracy, and passed them all out to waiting customers. She worked smoothly, efficiently, and quickly--moving from one task to another getting the orders out. As a former CEO of a small company, Simone is the type of employee I loved having on my staff. Kudos also to the management of this location. You have done a great job hiring and training your staff to do their jobs well. My first visit, and it is my new favorite restaurant. I had the Spicy Avocado Lime bowl with "super grains". and from the first bite, it was amazing. Balanced flavors of spicy and citrus combined with fresh kale and a satisfying crunch from beans and the grains made me very happy. I was shocked to see be one of three patrons at just before noon. So. I cane here once before and was impressed. This time? Not so much. I'm pretty sure if the health dept came in the place would have been closed immediately. Not to mention the fact that this food is $$$ When we came in I should have immediately turned around when I saw literal filth on the counter and uproarious laughter coming from the 16 year olds behind the counter, clearly oblivious to any sense of cleanliness. Too bad, because I think the quality of the food was probably good. And no, it was only 430 so not the dinner rush...nearly every table top was dirty too... A few more observations: unrefrigerated salad dressing stacked in plastic cups in full sun, mostly composed of pure unknown oil. And the temperature inside the building is probably 95 and it's a lovely fall day outside. The salads tasted good, however I need to point out that cleanliness in NOT a priority at B. Good. The workers and management clearly do not care that surfaces are not wiped down and food is being left out (salad dressings are not refrigerated and were sitting in the full sun). Being that B. Good's theme is local and fresh, my opinion is that they need to hold themselves to a higher cleanliness standard. Remember that many of their foods are raw and there is no safety net if you're eating raw there. Even the compostable containers which we ate from were smudged with food on the outside...not exactly a vote of confidence. I will also point out that we had to search for a table which had been wiped down. There are food splatters on the walls and the floor needed to be swept. The beverage area was not too clean either. The funny thing is that the place was not busy....there were perhaps 8 customers. I do not like leaving poor reviews, buy how else will B. Good improve as a business? read more

This is a stretch for three stars because I find the food to generally be good, no pun intended. My issue is that I can either get a burger or a salad for about the same price, but if I want a salad with any real means of protein, I have to add a burger to it. To be fair, that's a perfectly reasonable pricing model. I just feel like I spend more money here than I'm supposed to. The biggest issue with that is that even with the salad add protein, I don't feel like the portions are very big. This place sadly operates just as a chain. The quality is good but you don't get much for the price. We have been to many locations with decent experiences and this one was a bummer. The bowls we ordered were only half full. When asked they said they have to weigh them now because some food peppers were putting in too much and hurting their profits. Seems they should order smaller containers so they don't look so sparse. I was left hungry after my $10 bowl. Not motivated to return. Update: I sent an email asking if this was the new norm and received a quick reply saying it was definitely not and they would be looking into it. b.good opened in Concord on Fort Eddy Rd in the former Boloco next to Einstein Bros Bagels. This regional fast casual farm to table restaurant chain also has another NH location in Nashua. They offer a variety of fresh burgers, fries, salads, kale & grain bowls, smoothies, shakes, bottled drinks, and self serve Maine Root fountain drinks. The ingredients used here come from regional sources around New England. I stopped here for lunch on the opening day. The parking lot was almost full around noontime and there was a short line (growing) to the registers. I ordered a kale & grain bowl at the counter and a side item and paid with my app, which I downloaded for a free kale & grain bowl and free side. I waited a while (14 minutes) for my food to be ready since the place was very busy. I watched the staff in the open kitchen area hard at work churning out orders to be picked up by waiting customers (they give you a buzzer and call your order and name our when ready). They also have a pickup counter for online and phone orders. I ordered the Curry & Grilled Avocado Bowl, which had a mix of super grains, kale, avocado, sauteed veggies (green beans, carrot, zucchini), cauliflower, roasted red peppers, peas, almonds, spicy curry, mint-yogurt sauce and added grilled chicken. I also got a cup of 4 Bean Chili, which had a thick dense mixture of spicy beans and corn topped with cheddar cheese and sour cream. The food I had on this visit tasted fresh and was pretty good. Whenever I am in the Concord area, I stop at B. Good for lunch. The food is always excellent and the staff is very attentive. The reason for the 3 stars is for the charge for ordering curbside delivery. I am very cautious about entering stores and if curbside is available, I use it. I have never been charged an additional fee for curbside pickup regardless of the amount of money spent. With that being said, B. Good is not inexpensive fast food. I used the app to order my food and there is a separate charge of $.05 for curbside pick up. It is not the amount of the charge to which I object. It is the fact that they charge a fee at all. As a company, this is a very poor business decision. I have many choices for food and will think twice before giving B. Good any future business. read more

Now I've been a few times so it seems weird to leave a mediocre review, but really this last visit confirmed for me this is the biggest rip off restaurant around. Today I ordered the seasonal Butternut Squash salad. At almost $9 (and that's with a free tap water), I couldn't believe my little bowl of mixed greens, a little plop of squash cubes, some dried cranberries, and pepitas. I regret not saying something to the employee like, "That's it? That's all it is??" And Yes, I should've taken a picture of it for this review but I think I was just too annoyed to think straight.
