I should have left this review a long time ago. We've been dining at Beefside for a few years, and I'm just getting around to a review. We were there a week or so ago. We both had the Haddock Basket - they really know how to fry! It was a generous filet, and my wife got onion rings, while I had the French fries. Their onion rings are very good, as are their fries. The waitress was very nice - friendly and attentive, but not pushy. We'll be back! read more

Wonderful little lunch stop! It was full of locals and regulars and on a wait for lunch. At that moment I knew I had picked a good spot! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!! The green beans were so pretty and fresh too. She could barely get 1/3 down, lol. It was a ton of food. Economical! Hometown feel! Good people working and eating here! I love it!! I'm not even sure I could find the place again. I sure am glad I did the first time! '26 -39 read more

Onion rings are clearly homemade. Delicious. Everything was fresh and piping hot. Definitely worth a trip.

Food was fantastic. I got the jr roast beef. So good and the French fries were in a league of their own. Thank you will be back. read more

Have I never reviewed this gem??? It's one of my favorite places to go. They have amazing gluten free options. I get the French dip with the house fries and a delicious gluten free roll. When in doubt Beefside!! They always have the best massive Roastbeef sandwiches. I always get the super giant and the service is great. I can order my food and be there in ten minutes and it's ready to go read more

Friendliest people take the order every time I swing by after my son's basketball games. Food is always top notch- and when the servers are helpful on possible choices, they are always right. Friendly, comfortable ambiance that you can take family there and be confident a great experience will be had. What an awesome dining place - highly recommend! read more

We recently had a burger from Beefside. Burger itself was decent, but fries are below par. No seasoning, and there appears to be some kind of coating on them, which adds to the crunch. Just an odd flavor, and it could be the oil. We have had breakfast, roast beef, and the Reuben in the past and all were good. Hoping this was a one off. Service is always good and drinks it's a cozy place, but can get loud because people don't know how to talk in a restaurant anymore. read more

Agree with the other Yelpers This very nondescript place has great food and great service. We got a steak sub and the seafood chowder. Delicious ! read more

Very little ambiance...just good food. Roast beef and seafood are all good, as is the service.

This place was literally so good, do not let the view of it mislead you. The items on the menu literally speak for themselves, its as good as they sound. We just so happened to go at a slow hour but I was told this place can get packed. They have a to-go counter when you first walk in that most people apparently do, but my family preferred to sit. It's definitely a small town restaurant but they do their food so good. Sat with 4 different family members and everyone said that their food was a 5/5. Our server was super patient with us (we took forever to decide). My ONLY complaint is that they don't offer a hot lobster roll with butter..I was hoping that the lobster was made per order, or at least not pre-mixed with mayo even though only a cold option is listed on the menu, but I was in fact wrong. It hurt to eat cold, but it was a goo sandwich. read more

We meet with friends last week at Beefside which was a first for us. Laura had a burger and I had the brisket bomb, essentially a steak bomb sub made with beef brisket. The burger was made the way she wanted it (almost rare) with regular fries and my sub came with sweet potato fries. My one complaint on the brisket was the sauce was very ho-hum. My wife found her fries a bit meh but my sweet potato fries were very good. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly. The place was busy since we were there for lunch. Noisy but not overwhelming. All in all the food was very good and I got to try the roast beef sandwich next time! Sorry no pictures this trip! But worth a return visit! They also gave a discount for cash. read more

This has to be a neighborhood staple and favorite. The place was packed and the staff super friendly. We found this via Yelp and the reviews were spot on. We tried the famous roast beef sandwich and we loved it. The meat was rare and sliced thin in a soft roll and had the right amount of mayo. So glad we stopped here. We were so hungry I forgot to snap a pic. read more

I was driving down from Montreal to come to Nashua and had planned a lunch stop in this area. I joined a Facebook group all about New Hamsphire eats and Beefside was often recommended. The menu and concept seemed simple enough. When we arrived around lunch time on Monday December 18th, the place was already packed. This is a quaint, small town restaurant with a homey feel. There is a take out counter, otherwise a few tables if you want to dine in. I tried the famous roast beef sandwich and my partner got the "BBQ Beef Brisket Bomb" sandwich served with fries. For a place that is well know for their beef - we were both disappointed in the flavor of the sliced beef. It was not seasoned, had very little flavor, it was quite bland. It was tender and shaved thinly, which had a good mouthfeel, but the bbq brisket did not like taste like smoky bbq at all. It kind of tasted like unseasoned boiled or braised beef unfortunately. Perhaps it was just the cut we got, but it really needed some extra fat and salt. Luckily, for my roast beef sandwich, I paid the extra to have cheese, mayo, tomato and lettuce. This made a huge difference otherwise the beef alone would be very boring. Price wise and portion - this was perfect for lunch. I just wish the beef had more flavor. There are tons of great reviews about this place on here and Google, so it would be worth another shot. read more

Thoroughly enjoyable. I opted for the Giant with the $1 add-on for cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The sandwich was size-able, the roast beef was tender and flavorful. I cut it in half and devoured the sandwich. I also ordered a side salad with sole blue cheese dressing. The dressing was surprisingly good! Solid blue cheese flavor, thick. I was seated instantly, the waitress was quick to get me set up, bring the food and the bill. Overall a great place to grab a roast beef sandwich. read more

Beefside - Even more famous now that I have eaten there and reviewed it. - Seafood Near Me - Concord, New Hampshire

I've eaten here twice now. It was good, but not great for the two meals I've had. I had a Reuben with onion rings, again good not great. I did enjoy the steak tips a bit more as they smothered them with mushrooms, onions and green peppers if you ask them to. I was hoping for more of a gravy type sauce, but not the case. Service was great, very friendly, everything has been fast not having to wait/very efficient. The parking lot always seems to be full. I would go back because their menu is so extensive. I would rate these guys at 3 1/2 stars given the choice. read more

Very disappointed! Been here many times, all take out orders. Just tried the Reuben! In a word: POOR! A premium sandwich which costs $17 each, should be a premium sandwich! There wasn't an eighth pound of meat on it! Small amount of kraut and the thousand island dressing was bitter! Worst Reuben I have had in a very long time! Their other sandwiches I raved about! This really sucked! Both my wife and I got Reubens, both were the same: yuck! Now I'm questioning going back. My neighbor said they were going down hill. Seems to be the case. read more

Really enjoyed their Giant roast beef sandwich ($10.50) The portion of meat was 6oz and it was tender, but I loved the bun it was in! It tasted like a more buttery Martin's potato roll. So good. I then tried some of what my mom got, a small order of chicken bits ($8.50). I did not expect the chicken meat to be so white and juicy. The quality was great and we enjoyed its fried coating along with dipping them in their homemade bbq sauce. The employees were so nice as well. Very friendly! read more

This review is for the breakfast as well as an update on lunch. I've been wanting to try the breakfast here for quite awhile and finally had the chance when I ended up in Concord with my dad on a Monday morning. Since then I came once more with my husband. If you haven't tried it you need to. As always the staff here is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I love the decor because it makes you feel comfortable when you're not dressed up. It has a very casual cozy feel. I tried the hungry jack breakfast the first time. I was a little disappointed because they wouldn't allow a substitute of French toast in place of pancakes. I thought it was odd especially considering pancakes are more expensive than French toast on the menu. The second time I simply just ordered French toast and got bacon on the side. The pancakes are huge! Don't order the hungry jack unless you're really hungry or have someone beside you to secretly drop food on like I did. The French toast is great and the bacon crispy. I loved everything about the breakfast. My husband especially loved the large juice glass and the fact that they freeze the glasses and the juice stays cold. Breakfast is awesome here and I hope to get in again soon. Lunch here is very good too. I have yet to try the roast beef sandwich but it looks amazing. Myself I usually go for the seafood. The boats here are so filling and so good! I love the haddock boat. They know how to cook seafood herd and they don't overpower the delicate flavors with weird spices. Also the fish is very fresh. Whether you are here in time for breakfast or lunch you won't be disappointed. (Unless you want a big breakfast with French toast lol). Definitely my favorite spot in Concord for a good and affordable meal! read more

Hometown feel diner, with fantastic food. This is the kind of spot I could see Guy Fieri visiting. Not a spot if you're watching your calories with popular dishes like homemade roast beef sandwiches and piled-high onion rings. We got the lobster bisque; it was good and came with an entire claw. We started with the onion rings-my sister wasn't a fan, but I thought they were great. I would suggest getting what they're known for, the roast beef. It was truly unique, and I would get it again. read more

Looked up the best rated seafood while passing through town and Beefside came up with stellar reviews! Online ordering on their website was closed so I went in and ordered to-go. The service was friendly and fast but most importantly the food was amazing! The chowder was creamy and loaded with seafood and the lobster roll was so fresh and flavorful. The fries also lived up to the high standard set by the other parts of the meal. I loved this spot and will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again! read more
