Buffalo wings: Honestly, I was surprised by these wonders! This is gonna sound wicked biased, but very few places up here can come close to meeting or exceeding the buffalo wings wifey makes for us at home. These guys were seasoned well beyond just relying on the sauce alone. The bleu cheese was also a great compliment to the spicy goodness. 9 out of 10, would highly recommend! Fish n' chips: Okay. A little background here; I was really torn between ordering this versus the broiled haddock. In hindsight, I kinda wish I had gone with the latter because fish n' chips can be hit or miss, depending on how they're done. This one was okay, though I can't tell if the piece of fish they used was just hella small or if it was the batter that was throwing me off. In either case, it seemed thinner than most fried cod or haddock I've had up there. This tends to result in the end pieces of fish being slightly overcooked whilst the center was mostly fine. I dunno. It only makes me wonder how their broiled haddock would have turned out. Grading on a curve, I'll give this one a 7 out of 10. All said, I would definitely return here and try several other items on the menu, actually. I already mentioned one, but another that I'm curious about is their steak & cheese. Sadly, it'll have to wait till I happen to be back in the neighborhood again, given the 40ish minute drive from our place. A Brazilian burger place where their burgers are the size of Trump's ego, and the toppings are so messy you legit need to eat it in a bathtub. The last time I had one of these incredible concoctions, my deck looked like the buffet station after a wedding. I HIGHLY doubted that a place which prided itself on beef, layered with beef, with 20 slabs of bacon on top was going to actually offer veggie burgers...but they did! And I was dying to see what the Brazilian burger version of a veggie burger might be. $18 for a veggie burger with no sides (before tip) felt a little steep, until I lifted the bag and almost gave myself tendonitis. This thing was DENSE. The woman asked me if I wanted an extra side of "green sauce." I had no idea what it was, but I'm all about weird sauces so I nodded yes. I got home, and opened it up. The roll for this thing was massive, and lightly sweet. It was sloppy, in the best way: covered in that green sauce, with tons of cheese, a whole tomato, and raw onion. The veggie patty itself was huge, made from scratch, filled with carrots and peas. I don't normally love veggie burgers where you can see all the ingredients, but this one was REALLY good. It was also...almost an afterthought. Remember back in the day, when Burger King offered "veggie Whoppers"? And really, it was just a Whopper without the burger, but with all the other ingredients aside from that? Yet another one of our guests had the chicken tenders, light and tender and crispy which was extremely tasty. I can understand some of the previous comments about having to wait to order. The manager, who attends the cash register in ordering, he's doing 14 things at the same time. She is extremely busy especially in peak periods. However, she is quite efficient.
