Smokeshow catered a work lunch for our team and it was amazing! The owner delivered everything and helped us unpack everything and he was super friendly and courteous. Best barbecue I've ever had & everyone loved it!

I had a goodness sandwich with a side of coleslaw and man was a good! The sandwich contains several types of meat, chopped up and tossed with a delicious BBQ sauce. The guy working the cash register was nice and the restaurant itself is spacious and nicely decor.

Exterior, there is street parking and parking across the street in the lot

Our first barbecue New Hampshire was memorable. This place is on point when it comes to barbecue and friendly service.. The restaurant shares space with a brewery. Next door called The tap room, which is a great place to grab your favorite Brew. You'll see some photos from that place. You can eat there also. Overall, the flavor was very good on the meat and the real star of the show where their sauces, especially their South Carolina yellow sauce. That was perfection. The ribs were meaty and tasty. A hidden jam was the turkey, with the yellow sauce. It is money. Only thing that was just okay were the sides. Although the cornbread was good and l is recommended.

Great little joint for Q and brew from their brewery next door. We stopped in for lunch on Sunday (first time for my wife and second for me) with she choosing the stuffed baked potato (with pulled pork) and I going with the two meats plate (pulled pork and ribs) with Mac and cheese and collard greens. We both loved the pulled pork even without sauce (though I'm finding my favorite sauce is their mustard sauce). My ribs were almost falling off the bone with a spicy rub. Tasty but best with some sauce. The Mac and cheese was very tasty and cheesy but not dry (which is what I look for in a Mac). The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the collard greens. They had a bit of a spicy taste that wasn't my favorite. Overall a great choice for lunch (except maybe a different side for the greens). Staff is very friendly and the folks in the pub gave us a sample of the pumpkin brew (maybe next time we'll have a pint). Definitely worth going back!

I was excited to see that there was a BBQ location close to where I was staying. There isn't a parking lot but you can utilize street parking. I went during lunch time on a Thursday so it wasn't too busy. When you walk in you do get a hint of that BBQ smell. The person taking my order was friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to sample some of their sides since I wasn't familiar with it. I order the combo meal which gives you 2 meat options and 2 sides. I went with their ribs and something they call the goodness, a mixture of brisket, turkey, and pork chopped up together. The food came out quickly and I took my seat. The place has plenty of seating and it's clean. As for the food, I have to say I wasn't too impressed. It wasn't bad but I just felt that the BBQ flavors weren't there. The ribs were cooked well but you don't get that smokey flavor you yearn for in BBQ. I'll say the presentation is great as it has a nice bark to it. The goodness wasn't too bad but again didn't get too much flavor and smokiness. The mac and cheese was cheesey and creamy but again it lacked a little flavor. The baked beans were good and I didn't expect to have chunks of meat in it which was a pleasant surprise. This is a likable place. The staff are friendly and the place has a nice ambiance. The food may not "meat" the standard of true BBQ (pun intended) but I will say it was cooked well. When you throw in the goodness inside the Mac and cheese it does make it better. Overall, if you're a big time BBQ fan this place may not be for you. But if you're looking for decent food and a cool vibe this place is worth checking out.

First of all, they have moved to Main Street so don't GPS yourself to the address on Yelp. You walk in and smell the sweet smell of BBQ. The mac and cheese and mashers are incredible. The cornbread was ok. Would have been nicer served warm and with a pat of butter. The ribs were very good. They had great flavor. However, when they were getting our meal put together, I saw them cutting the brisket. I never order this because of the fat, but theirs looked so good that I am just going to have to come back next time we are in town and give it a try.

They even gave us extra napkins when we told them we were messy. Lol. This is a take out only sandwich shop within a small shopping center. Parking here is never easy but we really wanted to try these sandwiches. I grew up in Maine so the Portland Maine Italian sandwiches were a big part of my life. I love Greek olives, American cheese and crusty Italian bread which to me really make the sandwich pop. Here, though, they use provolone cheese and the bland black olives and very soft Italian bread. So if not comparing it to the Italian I know and really love it isn't bad at all. I ordered the ham sandwich with the veggies, opting for oil to make it more Maine ish. It did remind me of a Maine sandwich, but lacked briny olives and the flavor from the cheese. It honestly could have used more pickles too. The bread was to soft for me but I have to say I still enjoyed the sandwich and I definitely would go back again. I apologize for the picture as I had already taken a bite and we were eating them in the car.

Am I crazy to think...meh, it's ok, (the price) I was on a holiday and you are supposed to enjoy whatever? haha!! I would normally never spend that much on a freaking smoothie! HOWEVER! Once we got into Manchester, VT....we saw another The Works Bakery...I SHO DID get another one lol. I was surprised to see that this place is a chain. When we were in Concord...it kind of felt like this was a place exclusive to Concord. Nah, it's not. Thats ok tho. I got a smoothie at a coffee house in just outside Bar Harbor and it was absolute garbage. So it was nice to have one where they actually have you what you ordered. Most places in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire all allow dogs. I travel with my little Yorkie wherever I go. Alfred loves to travel haha! He is my child...seeing as I do not have any human kids. My dog is my life. So it's nice when you go into places and they welcome dogs. This place....does not tho. Thats boooo! HOWEVER! I TOTALLY understand! I TRULY do! I travel with my dog everywhere, but yes, I do realize this place is a restaurant and they all have their rules. I just love restaurants that allow dogs haha! I am not one of those psychos that will tear a place apart about not allowing dogs. I am one who actually respects policies like this. And yes, I bring my dog with me bc it's just me...and my dog. He is a 6lb Yorkie who I will never leave alone nor would I ever kennel him. I say all this bc so many people out there judge others who bring their dogs everywhere. He is a family member. He comes with me. Just go to this place wherever you run into one. It really is a great place. They were all SO nice in there even when they asked my take Alfie back outside. OH for the record too...I carry my little man everywhere with me. He's not like...running around everywhere...marking his territory lol Atmosphere in this location is very nice. Kinda dark and Lodgy feeling. Its nice. Located too in what I am assuming is a historic building. Noce view of the downtown area too if you take you lunch or whatever outside to their outdoor seating...which I am guessing is probably brought in now...seeing as it is almost December. Ok thats it. I know I rambled a lot here, but I feel it all fits with my review. I ramble a lot to begin with. If you read this...thank you! I decided to go with the Korean bibimbap. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. I usually love bibimbap, but this version was extremely greasy and lacked the spice and bold flavor I was expecting. The gochujang sauce was pretty bland, and even after asking for more, it didn't make much of a difference. The rice had the crispy bottom you want in a bibimbap, but it still lacked that punch of flavor that makes the dish so satisfying. Overall, it felt like a very tamed-down version of bibimbap. The concept and menu are interesting, but this particular dish left me wanting more. Service was friendly but slow. I would still go back to the is place and give it another try.

The server was great and the place is unique, but the pour of wine I got for $12 left something to be desired. I was given a stemless glass of wine with less than six ounces of wine in it. The food had great flavor but the portion was drastically lacking. I ordered the dumpling pow bowl that was advertised to have dumplings and cauliflower in a Sriracha miso glaze. The bowl I got was the size of a cereal bowl. It had a very thin layer of diced cabbage with two dumplings cut in half and barely any cauliflower bits. My partner got a great sandwich, but the server asked if he wanted to upgrade for fries and he decided to get the curry fries. This was charged as a total additional side for $5.50, $4 for the fries, and 75 cents each for the curry mayo and the curry ketchup. If they are going to charge it this way, he should have received the chips as well. This was very misleading. The portions were totally off and ended up making the experience very bad for us. I can say we will never be back to this establishment and that saddens us, as my partner had fond memories of going to the Portsmouth location.

The macaroni salad had a mix of soft ridged elbows, chopped celery, red peppers, tomatoes, seasonings in a light mayo dressing. The Jambalaya (heated in microwave) had a medium spicy flavor with a mix of red beans, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, chicken, smoked sausage and long grain rice in a tomato broth. Later this week, I stopped in here around lunch time and the place was very busy, parking lot very full. I placed my order the deli/grill counter for the Our Cuban Sub ($8.50 plus tax) and also grabbed a container of Garden Salad ($3.95/lb plus tax). Since the place was very busy, it took about 15 minutes before my name was called to pick up my sub. The Our Cuban Sub (7") was thick and heavy, layered with slices of grilled deli ham, tender carved pork, chopped dill pickles, yellow mustard, melted provolone cheese on a thick soft chewy toasted white sub roll. The Garden Salad had a mix of farfalle (bowtie) pasta, chopped red peppers, green peppers, green zucchini, yellow zucchini, spinach, cheese in a light oil dressing. Overall, the food I ordered from Flanagan's South Ender was excellent and freshly prepared. I will definitely have to stop in here for breakfast takeout before work shift.
